Food was good, their fish pakora and malai chicken tikka is must try, so far best fish pakora in victoria. Staff is so friendly and plus point is open till late. Their curries was nice. Food was made fresh, you can tell by the taste. Service is good, ambience is good.

Food was excellent the night before but next visit 5 staff stood around at the entrance far more concerned with their cell phone and gossip. Apparently more interested with online customers than one client walking in. Place was empty but tables not wiped, no smiles and no service. I walked out again and went somewhere else.

I ordered take out for this location. They are pretty quick and probably was less than 20 minutes to pick up. I ordered plain Naan and lamb Rogan Josh.
The Naan was delicious and tasted great by itself. 3 large pieces for $3 was well worth it.
The lamb was piping hot and very flavourful. The sauce complemented the rice well. The lamb wasn't as tender as I would like it to be but it could gave been based on the cut too.

Walked by tons of times as I live in the area. Decided I wanted Indian yesterday and popped in on my way home. The fellow at the front was great. I really like Naan so he recommended the chicken Naan, which was really good. I got butter chicken and Tandoori chicken. The butter chicken was great, the tandoori was a little undercooked, but the flavor was good. Will definitely go back to try a few more dishes.

Visiting Royal Tandoor was one of the best experiences eating out in a long time.
The food was hot, full of flavourful, and timely served.
Our server Bhanu was very attentive and gave us amazing drink and food suggestions.
We will definitely be back many times again.
I couldn't recommend enough that you try this hidden gem of a restaurant.

They had amazing food, the server gave us extra complimentary rice and dessert. Portions were fair and the spice was at the perfect level. We ordered Bhindi, Dal, Coconut fish curry and the vegetarian Biriyani; All of which were very delicious. Our server also told us about attractions we could visit on the island which was appreciated.

My roommate and I tried to go to a local pub for some late night food and drinks. Unfortunately, the place we tried to go to was closed and so luckily for us we decided to walk into this lovely establishment. Do not judge a book by its cover, this little hole in the wall of an Indian restaurant gave us an amazing experience. The service was first class as our server Bhanu gave us great recommendations for food, was very timely with his service, and made us feel at home. 10/10 experience and will be coming back soon. Positive: clean, easy to find, free parking, spacious interior, fast service, priced inexpensive, vegetarian and dessert selection available.
Neg: buffet was limited compared to others.
Food for thought: great for family setting, butter chicken was good, naan could be made as requested to make it crispy.

I love everything about this location food is always fresh and hot. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never had an issue it's always been good and I've ordered from this particular location at least 10 times. Samosas are the best in town. You also have to try the stuffed Naan.

We’re visiting Victoria for a short vacation and were looking for some good Indian /Punjabi food after a hectic day, to our delight this place offers this and more! We loved the food which was delicious and flavorful! We ordered daal makhani, bhindi masala, fish curry, vegetable biryani and tandoori roti, every item tasted fresh with authentic flavors. The servings were pretty generous and we were given a complimentary dessert as well!! The staff were very friendly and gracious, they even gave us some tips to explore Victoria!
Will certainly recommend to our friends, and will visit here again in our future trips:)
