Delicious matcha treats. Touch pricy but with many hand made desserts that you can’t easily find outside of Japan.
It was great to see a Japanese Cafe in town. The store's unique decoration made it stand out. I enjoyed its ice-cream and cheesecake. Staffs are super friendly, and I will definitely come back.
I love their cake roll so much! And Taiyaki is my favorite! The Japanese song they play in shop is really nice . I am glad that they create such an unique dessert cafe in Victoria.The price is acceptable. I had very good experiences in Chimoto and I will definitely come back!

The desserts and drinks are VERY GOOD! The made them taste sweet yet not too sweet, which really enhances the matcha or creamy flavours.
Also, everything they sell are hand-made in store by their dessert-specialists, as I got to the store early one day and saw them making the cakes and rolls, as well as the puddings and Tai-cream.
This place is great for a exotic Asian dessert. They have matcha, red bean and so many other varieties that made it hard to decide what to order. The lady took a little long preparing what we ordered but it was worth it, and given how good it was still giving it 5 stars.

Small place with some pretty decent desserts. However, we felt that the desserts served did not really look as shown in the menu. Matcha ice cream was quite good though.

Very good place with delicious treats and a very comfortable atmosphere. Only issue is it lacks a public washroom! Great place for a refreshing drink or a cute date!
