Definitely the best McDonalds experience I’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, personable, and they were working like a well-oiled machine in the back preparing the food.
The inside of the restaurant is clean, well designed, and frankly quite sophisticated.
I’ll be honest, I’ve gone through the drive thru at this McDonalds on MANY occasions over many years. Out of all of the McDonalds in Greater Vic, this one is probably the best. Tonight, I had the most beautiful McDonald’s burgers I have ever seen. Commercial worthy. Whoever prepared the 1/4 Pounder BLT with no pickles deserves a raise. Flabbergasted

It's McDonald's, it's good and fast food. This one hasn't gotten my order wrong yet so I keep going back. This one seems on top of things.
We all know what the food is like at Mcdonald's. This exact location may be the best in Victoria/Saanich, as it is clean and calm. The last time I went there were many people quietly working at laptops.
Went this evening to grab a cheeseburger happy meal, and I left so happy. The costumer service was great, from the speaker (in the drive threw), to the two employees that took my payment and handed me my meal. I was even offered some socks! (Had to pass, was concerned about the size on my big feet). The fries were hot and perfectly crisped. The cheeseburger was made above my standards, and they even threw in a surprise sweet and sour sauce. The yogurt was a bit warm, but do not worry, where my boyfriend is from (Campbell river) they only eat warm yogurt, so I gave it to him. I will definitely be back.

The food is well prepared, but you have to be very clear about your order, and check it when you receive it, as the place is often rushed and not meticulous in checking the order. Overall: good.
Good McDonald's in a good part of town. Good staff. Nice seating area. Clean.

We don't have fast food often. I have not been impressed lately with McDonald's, but this was rock bottom. We went through the drive-thru. We had a list on my phone of what to order and my husband ordered everything off of it line by line. While it was fast getting through the drive-thru, when we got home we realized that they had forgotten one of the three main items we ordered. And they forgot all of the sauced for the 20 piece McNuggets. The total was almost $50. We called and left a message for them to call us about the order and no one ever called back. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save your money; this is a rip off.
Update: We visited twice this summer as a family. I was impressed by how different the experience was these times. I'm not sure if they are under new management, but the place looks clean, the food was good for McDonald's, and the service was excellent. Excellent. Last time, an employee was even walking around handing out cute little crowns to children. The children went up to the play area last time and it looked clean and they had a really fun time. I would definitely go back to this location.
Visited a friend. We ate breakfast cause she had to get to class. Was very nice. Good latte.

The play area in the 3rd is quiet and private most of the time. Compared to the uptown one at least
Nice new renovation in 2019. Lots of seating and the parking is good. The staff are friendly and generally the orders have been correct.
