STAFF: Very friendly and quick service.
FOOD: We had the fries and onion rings with a vanilla milkshake. Feels a lot like the classic American diner experience, kind of like Denny's with a smaller menu. The fries and onion rings were good, perfectly salted, not greasy at all. The onion rings were crisp. The milkshake is just like mom used to buy.
ACCESSIBILITY: Very accessible. Hillside Mall has level entrances, power doors, and accessible bathrooms. The Johnny Rocket's counter is nice and low too.
As fast food burgers go, this place is hard to beat. Good shakes, fantastic onion rings and a huge selection of drinks you can't find elsewhere.
Not gonna lie, they make a pretty good burger for an affordable price. They also mix natural flavors like cherry, orange, lime, etc into their soft drinks. That's a really cool idea. I can see why it's a hit in the US. Friendly prompt staff as well. Good job, guys.
I was greeted before I even reached the counter by a very friendly employee named Emily who recommended the original burger because it has pickles and is amazing and a strawberry milkshake. Due to dietary reasons I passed on the milkshake, however I took her advice on the original burger, fries and a drink. She talked me through the order, confirmed it, told me the approximate wait time, then talked with me while my food was prepared. My food was hot, not too greasy, and delicious when I got it. The price was not too bad for how great the burger was. $11.00 for a burger, fries and drink is reasonable since McDonald's changes the same thing for a big mac meal. A big mac does not compare to the quality of meat in a Johnny Rockets burger. Overall, fast service, reasonable pricing, super friendly front staff.
Burgers are one of the best tasting around town. Even though it's a mall takeout style, I like its taste. Speed getting food to you can be a bit slow though. Some cashiers I've had are nice guys and want to serve you.
Best burger available from a mall food court. Had the Rocket cheeseburger: the lettuce, tomato & onion were fresh, the beef patty was tender. Delicious. Fries were slightly above average but nothing special. Vanilla milkshake was as good as White Spot. Overall maybe not quite as special as Bin 4 or Brown's Social House but pretty close.
Excellent value for the money. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Burgers are good but overpriced. The chicken strips are worth the cost. They are crunchy, moist and delicious. They are also on "Skip the dishes" if you do not want to leave home.
This burger was fantastic!! Look at all that cheese, a great burger Patty and fresh vegetables! Always nice when the food, which also happens to be super low waste packaging, looks better than the menu picture!!
For a fast food joint, they serve a really good burger. I only give it four stars because in my own opinion bin 4 or big wheel burger are the only five star burger places.
The burgers and the shakes are fantastic, but almost every time I have been there it's taken 15 minutes just to make a shake.
Terrific customer service and even better food! The milkshakes are great! Hands down best burger place in Hillside Mall and surrounding area!
