Peacock Billiards is a bastion of tranquility and class in downtown Victoria. The tables are varied according to your preference in size and style, the cues are kept in perfect condition and the food is affordable and amazing. If you are lucky enough to run into Mr. Peacock, he will happily give you a tour of the dozens of art pieces hanging on the walls, each with its own story to tell. The staff are dedicated and helpful. Disregard earlier reviews saying otherwise. You simply have to ask for what you need and it will be provided. Being in Downtown Victoria, they get plenty of hard-to-deal-with customers, but once they know you are not one, you will be treated well. Best time to go: opening hours. You'll get a chance to see some of the best players in Victoria gathering for daily practice. There are plenty of comfortable couches for viewing and relaxing with a coffee, an alcoholic drink, or a hot tea (try the African tea - its great). I'm so happy this place is there to step out of the hustle and bustle of downtown's madness. It's safe in there and the music is great as well.

I loved it here. So many tables to choose from! The service was very friendly and food and drinks added to the fun. I plan on returning again and again. Thank you to the staff!

Pool is fun. Prices are reasonable. And the food and drink are good! I am repeat offender with one of my friends for going just for their chicken tenders. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is I have had some interesting interactions with the staff a few times I have gone. But normally the service is great!

20+ billiard tables of various sizes. Took a minute to find a decent stick (bring your own if you have one), but worth going to a place with an open table. Beverages, cocktails and food available. Restrooms were clean. If you enjoy shooting pool definitely check it out.

Always a great time. Unfortunately very busy on Friday nights, but friendly staff nonetheless!

A great place to get together with your friends or family! I have gone for both the pool and the food. The pool usually has a line on the busy nights and they charge extra for playing on weekend nights due to the high demand. I've only had the hot dogs and yam fries for food but both were great, leaving me wanting more. There is a drinking side and non drinking for the pool tables so if you want to have a few while you play you can. You also can order food and eat while you play. They supply cues to use. Definitely will come back here every few months!

I have visited Peacock several times within the last couple of years, this place is always decent for gathering. If you order food while playing billiards, they could have already added service charges to your bill. Just be sure to always ask for a breakdown of your order. You do not want to tip twice.

Known Dave and the family for years and hate to leave a negative review but sadly I must. Tried to Reserve the lone Snooker table for last Friday and was told that they don't take Reservations for Friday and Saturday - fair enough, busy days, I get it. I show up an hour before open with my friend to ensure that we can get the table and as we get close to 1:00 I see a regular customer who I know only plays on that table. When I mention that we're here for the Snooker table as well he tells us that this " happens all of the time" and that "we'll let Management figure it out". When the doors open we are informed by the Staff member that the table has been taken ( Reserved ) When I explain how we were told "no Reservations" on weekends ( in fairness, it was not the same staff member working ) we were told that we could ask the other customer if he would give us the table - we did not put him in this uncomfortable situation. Given that there is a standing arrangement for this customer ( which I have no issue with ) and that this " happens all of the time" perhaps this should be communicated by the staff to prospective customers? All this said I love the facilities, just wish I didn't waste an hour of my time to be turned away. Fair response James, I have amended the score and will contact you directly via E Mail

This is a great place for both casual pool players & the pros. Call ahead to customize your fun by reserving your tables (or other games) in advance. Service is great - staff are very accommodating! My small group of friends meet on Monday & Thursday evening to play 8-ball for a few hours and we always have fun. Stop by to check it out because we are always looking for new people to play. Great skills are nice to have but a good attitude is more important. 🙂 Regardless, check out the place; you will not be disappointed. D.

I visit peacocks atleast once in every 2 weeks. I love this place because it's easily accessible and open till late night. Their food is great and there are a lot of tables. I'm giving them 4 stars because even though most of the staff is really nice, there are a few exceptions who do not interact that well and look disinterested in serving us. That's something which can be acknowledged by letting customers provide real time feedback while paying their bills.

Just want to give a shout out to Peacock Billiards. We bought a used table from them a couple of years ago. They set it up, replaced the felt, spending hours to make sure it was level and was properly situated in the room. They recently came back and fixed a defect, again spending significant time to make sure the problem was solved, and added some special touches. They treat their customers well and fairly. Well done and thank you.

Delicious food with huge portions, yummy drinks. I got a pitcher of a tasty cocktail. For pool there's drink tables and an alcohol free side, as well as a place to play ping pong! Had a wonderful time playing pool (was too busy for a drink table but still had a nice time) then ate and had some drinks. Some people were dressed casually, others dressed up. Loved the atmosphere- it's what you make of it!

I am a very casual pool player that has spent many hours over the years at Peacocks. Always have a good time, even if it's been years between visits.

One of the best spots in town to enjoy a quiet, casual drink, great food, and cool tunes. Billiards is a bonus if that's your thing!

Nice environment, 4 people 1 table $20 an hour. A lot of people around, great atmosphere. Location is convenient as well. Remember to buy a parking ticket if you're parking before 8pm

Food is tasty and REALLY well priced. Beer's cold and the service is good. Pool tables are not too crowded and of decent quality, with a selection of sizes from 7' pool table to tournament-size snooker tables. Can't say enough good things.
