For a fast food restaurant I’m impressed with level of service with a smile, the cleanliness of the facilities and the good quality of the teen burger meals that we had. The washroom facilities were very clean which is a good sign of general maintenance! I also was glad of the high rate of air exchange as exhibited by the air conditioning which was set quite high. Very important in this time of Covid! (July 2022)

Enjoyed our burgers, onion rings, and root beer of course. The restaurant appears relatively newly renovated. It was clean and airy. Maybe the nicest A&W in Victoria.

Updated review: Recently renovated, the new look is more open and feels bigger. Small booths at the front allow privacy while more tables in the other section are less hidden than in the previous layout. One thing I really thought was cool was, rather than going to the washroom, you can just wash your hands right in the main part of the restaurant. They have sinks and soap right there! This is great sanitary option before you eat and great after you'e been hand-eating onion rings or a burger etc.
This is my "go-to" location. It's centrally located in the so-called "Shelbourne Valley". Staff are friendly and the food is good. My latest meal was consistent with other A & W locations. I would give five stars but the table I sat at was a bit grotty. I suggest more frequent attention to the tables. Other than that it's all good.

A&W has GREAT burgers (albeit pricy compared to the Mcdonald's across the street). A&W has GREAT service: when I was in last, the cleaning staff noticed I was wanting to use the restroom and kindly informed me when they were available post-sanitation. The Atmosphere is a little weird since it is usually quite empty, as most people use the drive-thru.

We had chicken strips and a teen combo which was really good but the root beer the not have the fizz which took 1 star off. Because I only go there for their root beer and fries.

Eaten here a few times now. Every time, I’m impressed with how well-oiled this machine is. Plenty of hard working staff, long lineup didn’t take too long. My order was punched in with an extra order of fries by accident but they refunded me and let me keep the fries anyway. A&W offers the best fast food experience out there, hands down.

I'm not sure if the staff didn't understand what I read to them off the menu or they just didn't want to listen or know how to work their tills. The food was not hot, like a previous review on here states, my order was wrong three times as well.
There was no sorry, no smiles, no eye contact.
The place was messy, we ended up asking for a cloth to clean our own table, which was about the only thing I asked for that I actually got correctly given the first time.
Despite it not being busy.

Service was horrible. They messed our order up 3 different ways. In the end one person didnt get meal as all others finished and advised 12 min for burger. Wont ever be back!

This place drive me crazy. Dining in the French fried is like day old. Drive through only one car before me, wait for 25 min to get my English muffin
