This is literally the best place. So tasty ,fresh and amazing, heard about it and thought people were exaggerating. They are not,they are only open for a few hours,which it makes it that much more special.I would have to say this is my #1 favourite place. Hands down.
Ordered breadsticks to go, they were delicious and steaming hot! They gave us a large portion. (I took the picture after we had eaten a few.)
Hugeeee portions! Amazing donair sub, great spice on the meat. They put the sauce separate when you order takeout so it doesn't get soggy which is very much appreciated. I was full after eating only half!
Ive been going here as long as I've been able to eat, my parents ate from this restaurant when they were young adult. Amazing. Nothing will top the food here.
INSANELY DELICIOUS 🤤 Me and my friend split one of the Donairs and it stuffed us both. The meat is spectacularly tender and perfectly spiced. Well done Athena's. Bravo.
Well showed up 2 minutes before they closed. He made me up a donair and It was the best donair and biggest I've had on the Vancouver Island. Effin delicious..thanks for making my day
My partner picked up donairs from here a couple weeks ago. I've never seen such big donairs in my life. You can't fit your mouth around them. They are very good. I found the sauce a little sweet, but overall it was still a great dinner.
Atmosphere is a tough one as they only do take out/delivery, but if you haven't tried their donairs you're SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT!!! Pizza is great, could be cooked a bit longer at a lower temp but their flavours are always great!
But yeah. Donair. Extra sauce. Bring an appetite 🖤
Been ordering from here for at least 15 years, absolutely love their donairs and the sauce is at the top of my list... we recently ordered the ravioli for the first time and the sauce was thick, meaty and full of flavor, it also had a nice portion of ravioli, the side of garlic bread was cut perfect
The donair is worth the hype. It’s also the size of my leg, and I am by no means a small dude.
This place is the definition of hole in the wall. It doesn't look like much but it's been a favourite for almost twenty years and it's also a textbook example of a hidden gem.

Pesto, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, olives, pineapple, artichokes, chicken and bacon changed my damn life and now I think everything is going to be just fine. Awesome donair too.

Genuinely one of the most delicious doner kebabs I’ve eaten. A huge portion which is essentially 2 meals for $15!
First time going there last night, I got the chicken slovaki, safe to say I was impressed, really good size portion & the amount of sauce they give you is very generous not many places give that much. Will definitely be back!
