Review Lee's House - Victoria

Atomu
Food service everything very good. I always order the same menu. I have no clue why people are giving one or two stars review. Can they cook that well with that speed? No way. Something is salty? Then why not tell the staff to make it less salty. To adjust or whatever. Don’t need to care about the bad reviews Lee house staff🫡

A pleasant environment. A second location. Lee's House restaurant has been in Gorden Head for about 2 1/2 years. Offers traditional Chinese food. The portion sizes after quite large and the food was fresh and served hot. Food did not feel saturated and over fried in oil. Prices are fair. Staff friendly. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely.

We have never had a bad meal from Lee's House. We generally order out from them, ordering ahead to pick up our food on the way home from a late afternoon. Their staff are very pleasant and always strive to please...which can be difficult for some places because I have nightshade allergies.

Excellent food, i had ordered in from their a la carte menu and everything was delicious. We went for their dim sum yesterday and thatbtoo was delicious. Not a place with carts making the rounds of tables, you order off the menu, but some different things including bau sandwiches with chicken or pork belly, a salty sweet duck egg yolk bau and the best eggplant dim sum o have ever tasted.

Foods are decent. Nothing really special, but the portion are big for the price.

Some of the best dim sum I've had in Victoria. The servers were super friendly and everything came out hot and tasty! The most memorable dish was a sweet bar with custardy egg yolk filling. I think they use charcoal to colour the dough black. Tear it open slowly for the best reveal. 😃

Prompt service and good portions. Had leftovers for lunch the next day. Will eat here again.

doordashed combo a and the dumplings the other night. it was delicious and hot when it arrived. dumplings taste great dipped in gyoza sauce, and the chow mein was so good. wished there had been less chow mein and more sweet and sour pork, and the spring roll was great but could have been a little less greasy. overall, i will be ordering again

Food was everything I expected and the service was very timely and polite. Would not recommend the breaded almond chicken but everything else was awesome.

Though I've since moved away, I came here quite a bit when I lived in Victoria. Food was usually pretty decent; I would typically go for the Combo D or the House Special Chow Mein. Avoid the lemon chicken, though - the deep fried coating was weak and soggy, contrary to what I'm used to. Bubble tea was always good and service was always friendly. Prices were affordable, though they may have gone up given the recent inflation. Overall a decent fixture in the neighbourhood, and I hope they continue to do well after moving from University Heights about 1.5 years ago.

I've been going here for about 5 years now, Lee's house and JJ Wonton are my favorite places for Chinese food! My go-to dishes are : Double fried pork belly (a must try), Tofu and eggplant claypot (tender, juicy chunks of each) and house special chow mein(a nice mix of seafood , veggies and meats). The portions are good, and flavors are pronounced, with ginger, garlic and Chinese spices layered throughout the dishes. The service has always been friendly and prompt. At this point they've got a customer for life, too bad they don't have another location downtown, but it's worth the trip!

Went to dine in and the service was fast! Also the food was wonderful. Ordered Chicken CHow MAin, Sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, white rice and breaded almond chicken. The chow main was excellent, not soggy, you could taste a slight pan fry which makes it feel authentic. The sweet and sour pork had flavor unlike some places who drench bad pork cuts. These were quality!

The soup I had, I can't remember the name but it had brisket and noodles, was delicious and was served quickly. The waitress was polite, attentive, and helpful.

Just had lunch there yesterday with a friend. It was delicious! Ordered the dinner for 1 "B". The plate was heaping with food. Had 3 meals from it. Service was great. Very quick delivery to the table. Lovely waitress.

Buddy found an insect in his food. I will never order from this place.

Food was excellent and unlike other Chinese fare, was not oily nor heavily salted. Service was fast and cordial. Decor was not fancy but place was clean. We look forward to a return visit to try out other dishes. A rare find.

Superb flavour. Fast delivery and decent prices. Not a great atmosphere if you eat in. But ordering out is perfect. Authentic food cooked well with spices and flavours that will leave you satisfied.

Had their combination meals several times, always very good! Everything arrived piping hot. Haven't ventured further into their menu.
Service was quick & friendly
Quick, good, chinese food with good service. We got the beef and tomatoes on rice, beef chow fun, and bubble tea. The beef was sooo tender and the everything was very flavourful. Noodles were slightly overcooked but overall a good meal.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Vic! i believe it's run by Taiwanese people. The food and service are just awesome. There's also a good selection of tasty bbt (probably the best in town)

Pretty good but little bit salty. Good : Fried rice(forgot the name, might be House special??) anyway very good amount for 1 adult, food tastes good. Taiwan style chicken(I am not sure the name) it was ok but too many little tiny bones that makes me annoyed. Very good customer services. Food serves very fast. Lots of parking spot.

Bad : Taiwan style chicken dish was little bit salty. and I prefer chicken without bones. it was messy and hard to eat.

Amazing food The vegetables.... Amazing food
The vegetables were crisp and adequately spiced. The service was fast. The restaurant is very clean. I liked the decor. At the end of our meal, we asked the waitress if they had fried bananas in their dessert list. We were just joking. And before we knew, the chef walked over next-door into Safeway and bought some fresh bananas which he fried for us. This dish was to die for.
Excellent ginger beef
We were delighted with our meals. Prices were reasonable
Keep up the good work.

Not a lot of care here.. We ordered wonton soup with noodles, pork dumplings, a cold sliced beef dish, and hot/sour soup. All of the noodles and wonton dough was, well, doughy. it was very thick, slimy, and overcooked. The sliced beef dish was dry, cooked way past well done before chilled, and had no flavor except for the sauce they drizzled on it. The wonton soup was the same. bland broth and flavorless wontons. The only thing I would order again would be the hot/sour soup, but even it was not made with any care. the tofu was chopped in many different sized pieces; and made for a sloppy, unappetizing looking dish. we definitely won't be back, especially with Kuma's just a few blocks away.

Wonderful. The 3 spice chicken is amazing, the stewed pork belly is to die for and the beef tendon noodle is the best I have had in Victoria. Originally from Vancouver my wife and I are pretty picky when it comes to great Asian food and Lee's would be competitive even in the big city.
Keep up the good work Lee's and I will continue to support you guys

Went here with friends for lunch. Good bubble tea though pearls were small (but plentiful) and of a gooier texture than others. Not my favorite pearls, but not bad. Got a ginger beef special and it was definitely one of the better ginger beefs I've had in bc. Being from AB originally, I find it hard to find a place that has the right crispness and flavour, but lee's is definitely good. Portions were good. The general feeling at our table was solid. Would go again!

Lots of staff. Fusion Taiwanese cuisine. Menu is large but food lacked the punch that I was expectin
