My go to delivery food. Great people. Very accommodating. Food is on par with anywhere else I've been in Vic. Sometimes better than others but overall a great experience.

I always enjoy Young's Chinese Food. Every time I order, I get deep fried sweet and sour chicken balls & s&s sauce comes separately, not on it (which are always crispy and hot, even when I order for delivery), vegetable chow mein, vegetable chop suey, and egg rolls. I love how the vegetables are always huge, wholesome pieces unlike all the other Chinese Restaurants I've been to. They all have tiny minced up pieces of stuff, Young's actually has vegetables, period. I'm not much of a meat eater but I love their deep fried sweet and sour chicken balls. They are the best I've ever had. My friend who visits from Vancouver is addicted to the chicken balls too. She loves them, her favorite thing on the menu.
Also, the owner is really nice. Sure, he sometimes says things that may seem rude if you don't know him, but it's all in good fun, don't take it personally. Just brush it off and keep eating. He's Chinese, he didn't grow up in Canada and they say things a lot more... openly than we do (I know from experience having a lot of Chinese/Asian friends in general).

Food is good. Used to go here alot...food is actually really good ..havent tried it for years though..stopped going one day.....I definately didnt find a staple in my chowmein thats for sure (wink wink) maybe I'll try it again sometime soon as it is good
Love the food!. Been going here for the last two years. I'm very picky with my Chinese food, especially when it comes to my rice. I love the customer service I get there too, they're always so friendly-- Especially CoCo. It's the only place I'll go to for my chinese and the Almond chicken is the best! I'll never leave the place for another.
Good Food. We've been going to Young's since we arrived in Victoria in 1995. Food is good for the price. The staff is friendly.

Wow , the portions of the food is huge. A bowl of wonton soup is like a meal in itself. The dinner combo plate was huge and packed high. Seriously, u will have leftovers for days. Service was quick and server was very friendly
Food was ready quick and was super tasty. I mentioned I was buying it for me and my coworkers and they made sure to throw in enough fortune cookies for all of us :) price was good too. Will definetly be going again.
I'd been looking for a Chinese food place to order from since I moved out to Vic for School, and Young's has hit home every time! The food really is good, and the owner is always so kind and passionate over the phone. I agree with some of the other reviews that I wish there was a menu update, as I'd love to be able to order dumplings haha, but its not a big deal. (Also I actually enjoy the spring rolls, they're crunchy and filled with cabbage)
I hope to go in to eat once the pandemic is over, but for now I'll settle for ordering Chinese food when I don't feel like doing my meal prep. It really is a treat to order from here.
Food prices were very reasonable. Food was amazing, full of flavours and tastiness. Portions were super large. But, Restaurant atmosphere can be improved.

Had wor wonton, and dinner for 2..... was great food , excellent service..... soup broth is wonderful.... sweet and sour sauce is from scratch ( you can tell by the taste), veggies in the chop suey were nice and aldente.... would definitely recommend youngs for great food..with reasonable prices....
I love this place, I remember going there when I was younger. I live 2 blocks away and when I phone to order they know my order right away
The service was very good, this was our first visit and we enjoyed the experience. I was disappointed that we could not get wine with our meal, but that is a minor issue. The war wonton was awesome.
Great family restaurant and Victoria's best kept secret and hidden jem. Been going there since 2016 when I visit Victoria. Staff are friendly and serve huge portions. Delivery driver the other night when I had arrived in Victoria and checked in to the hotel was friendly and professional just like at the restaurant.

Went here with my parents who used to live in the area and were surprised that it had been here so long.
Now to the food - excellent! We had a variety of dishes that we picked and all were delicious. Fresh and hot, as the take out was very busy on Thursday night meaning that there was a good turnover on the food. The server was very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is very basic in décor but personally I couldn't care less as long as there's a place to sit ( well depending on the type of food ), it's clean which Young's is and it has good food.
Would go there again when in town visiting.
