4.5/5 actually
Really liked the Sea food pho. It was truly phenomenonal. Rich in meat and taste.
Would definitely recommend that in addition to their traditional beef pho
Salad rolls are amazing! Rare beef & brisket Pho is probably the best I have tried in Vic so far, but I have only been to maybe 10 pho joints in Vic in the last 5 years. Quality meat, nice broth and not overly greasy like some places.
Definitely a place to try!
Reliable if not totally inspired Vietnamese food in Saanich. Small space that can get busy. Both Pho and Bahn Mi's are decent options, not Vancouver (or Vietnam!) standards necessarily but not bad, and prices are decent.
Really like their house special. Small space so always packed. Food is good. Service isn't. When the restaurant got busy, the waitress was in a rush to get our table out almost as soon as we finished.
As Vancouverites who have recently moved here and have a plethora of pho experience, we must say that this place hits the spot quite well. We ordered the salad roll spring rolls the pho dac diet (house special), bun bo hue (spicy beef), and took the grilled chicken banh mi to go. Customer service was run of the Mekong delta mill if u catch our drift.. Lol
Pho and banh mi are both delicious, and the customer service is very friendly. Would eat here again.
Small portion. Had a vermicelli bowl with bbq pork. Tasted pretty good! The service was nice and fast although it was a busy lunch time. I only wish the portion was a bit larger. Compared to other vietnamese restaurants in town, the price was a bit high.
8.8/10
Really tasty! The spicy broth pho was delicious and portions were big. A new favorite.
YUM. I LOVE this place. They always have something delicious waiting for me. The prices are great. AND quantities are BIG
Tasty beef ribs and a good quick meal. This is a fascinating little restaurant (previously the home of a Mediterranean deli), next to Tim Hortons in a small strip mall in Gordon Head. Plain tables sandwiched into a small space, with few large tables, and a large tv on the wall that shows off home construction shows. Not much ambiance here, but it's functional. They seem to have a fairly loyal clientele and are a busy and popular place.
The food is good, cheap and quick..and conveniently located near to the University. The Pho is good but nothing special as others have noted. The large size is a very large portion (at least for me), and a good size meal. Not a lot of vegetables though; even if you request them to be added for the extra $1.25. You might find one or two more broccoli heads in there.
The beef sandwich for ~$5.50 is convenient, a good value, quick and tasty. If you like it spicy, they add chilis and it can be fiery, and I like the beef ribs (although they are surprisingly cut as flat pieces with the bone cut cross-wise).
Looks like a family run business; they seem friendly and are fairly quick to bring you a menu when you first sit down, or your bill when requested, but they don't rush you. They also do take-out.
Best in towm. Always have been a huge pho fan but there aren't alot of places in victoria compared to vancouver - which is reasonable.....
deffinatly one of the best in town
LOVE their wonton soup!! Will never be able to get sick or have enough of it!!
Deffinatly recommend!
Staff and service is very well done - compared to other viet places as well.
Small Place - but worth it!!
Pleasantly Surprised, loved it :). Came today again for the first time in a while, found out there was new management..chatted with them for a bit and love them!! Menu has been changed, food seems to be much more filling/pleasant and service has been faster!!!! Can't wait to be back for another meal!
First day of new managment.... ...and things were great. Our bevvy of waitresses were attentive and the Bun was dynamite. They even handled a significant food substitution without a hesitation. Keep it coming!
Fresh food, fast service, definatly
Does the name justice
Great addition to Gordon Head. Yummy pho, great service. I liked it better than Pho Ever in the same area, but not as much as my favorite Pho Hoa. The salad rolls were big and maybe one of the best I've tasted! The peanut sauce was good! I liked my smoothies too. I don't know what they're made of, tastes like ice cream, but they don't taste like Booster Juice or Jugo! Doubt they are healthy smoothies, oh well.
Excellent food and service. Love their wings and prawns. My most favourite is C1 noodle soup with everything!
Good quality and good price. Fresh ingredients. Tasty. We visited when first opened and saw teething pains in food and delivery. Tried again last week and was impressed with the jump in quality and presentation. Fast food that makes you feel good. On par with Pho Vy - no greater recommendation I can give
Great everytime 'round. I've been coming to this place ever since its opening with friends, family, and boyfriend. They have all loved this place for its food and great service! The food is great and always comes up pipping hot, not to mention the gorgeous wraps and the cute little sugar cane shrimps!! I don't understand why people say the service is bad - I've been there during lunch/dinner rush hours and at 3 in the afternoon. Never had a problems with service. Great family run restaurant, however it is pretty small so I know a lot of people call in to order out and pick it up later. Good stuff!
Good pho, cheap, service is a joke I had to go up to the counter twice to refil my water and even get my bill. Waiter was hanging out with his buddies for all but the 30 seconds it took him to take my order. Check out pho Eva if you want a nice sit down experience if not I would reccomend almost everything on the menu here

Pretty good pho place pho the pho craving pholks.. I am a genuine pho lover and get take-out phood phrom this place all the time. As this is Victoria, this place is a bit more expensive than the typical pho place in other cities. I love it, but that's just because I love pho. Pho real though, their food is nothing special and is pretty standard. If you're looking to impress your girl (or guy) or bring a big group of friends, phoget about it! You don't come here for the atmosphere, service, or comfort. You come here for some phocking pho!!
Good Pho and bhan mi. Nice to have a dedicated pho spot in the area now and it has become a good little Asian food area with many choices within a 1.5 block radius.
The beef pho has a nice flavour depth but I wouldn't mind a little more herbal/spice/floral taste eg star anise/clove/cinnamon etc. The grilled pork bahn mi was fabulous and I'd love to find the source of the baguette style bun they use. I hope they keep adding interesting new items to the menu.
I love pho. I love Vietnamese food. This restaurant does the food justice. The soup and salad rolls came quickly, as they should given their standard preparation. They were both very good. The seating is tight, and the restaurant is small - but it didn't take too long to get a table for four. It's nice to see them be so successful. My only complaint would be the service. The staff were quite distracted by the tennis match on tv and their visiting friends. I'd say since they are a new business and probably really excited and overwhelmed by their success - my advice would be to focus on making sure water/tea is always topped up and learning the cues when customers are ready to order, doggy bag their leftovers or pay. We had to remind our waiter of all of the above. :)
My boyfriend and I go there regularly and the trip from Sidney to Victoria is well worth it!! Their food is amazing and the staff is just excellent!! Great atmosphere and many smiles!!!! Keep it up guys, we'll always be back.
I am quickly making my way through their menu and loving all of it. D5,D6, and D7 have all been amazing. I'm pretty sure they make their own wontons, which I've tried in the soup and deep fried, they are delicious. Fast delicious food.
Good so far. BTW, meatballs are supposed to be rubbery. I've bought these same meatballs in Chinatown and Fairways in the frozen section. They are typically rubbery. Not sure about the sugarcane shrimp though.
Pretty Good. As the only place I know of in town serving banh mi sandwiches, it's worth going too.
The Pho, while not the best in town, is decent tasting and a good value.
It's a young restaurant so give them some grace time to work out some of the bugs.
I would suggest adding more meat to the sandwiches and having a special that has all the meats.
Really nice small restaurant with good food. The beef pho I had there yesterday was very good. For reasons I can't understand now I found the atmosphere there really comfortable. I be back to figure it out,and yes,the food, yummy.
Good flavors but using a pho powder base unfortunately.. The place is buzzing and open just 2 weeks. Flavors are nicely layered but there are some texture issues (meatballs, sugarcane shrimp - both very rubbery).
Friendly service, chilly room with the door opening all the time- so wear your coat inside!
Grilled marinated pork very tasty but way too fatty. Spring rolls are tasty. Good tea.
Not sure their pho broth is authentic though....if it is, they've certainly nailed it, but I am guessing it is made from a base. I'm just sayin.....
Delicious Pho that is perfect for the cold winter time! Phonomenal is a go-to when contemplating dinner as its location is highly convenient. The staff is also extremely friendly. Despite being a bit on the expensive side, the food is great. I recommend the Beef Brisket Pho if you're looking for a simple pho, the Spicy Beef Pho with three different types of meat, and the Lemongrass Chicken and Rice. The delicious smoothies are also a great option to cool you down without tasting very artificial.
I let them know what was the problem that I had with my order and they were very helpful and they communicated right away to make it right! they even gave us 2 free drinks, very nice people and good food too ❤️ ordered from them many times already
“I’ve never had Vietnamese food before, that stuff slapped. It was amazing! You know the chicken was bathing in sick flavourful soup, the broth was insane. You also got to chef it up with Sriracha. I also caved into getting a double spring roll order. Had to do it.”
-Tarek
“The pho was amazing. Last time I tried it was a few years ago. The beef was very nice. Would recommend dipping the meat int the Sriracha and Hoisin sounds. A plus for flavour. Also the Vietnamese crepes were good. Little crispy for my liking but still goes hard.”
-Everett
“Just the right amount of sauce, noodles. Spring rolls were perfect. Pork was excellent. There was too little prawns. Wasn’t enough prawns”
-Joel

Delicious, favorite place to eat Pho, so tasty. Great service and price!
Me and my friend come in almost once a week for the last two years it is our favorite place ever for a little after school lunch. The employees are always so so kind and have gotten to know us and are always so quick. Such a good restaurant, our favourite place!!
Phenomenal is good pho destination if you are looking for something within the Gordon head area. While it is not the best pho in Victoria, it is still very good for what it is and offers the pho broth flavor you are looking for. The restaurant inside has the feel of a ma and pa store which is something I like. I personally enjoy going here on Saturday afternoons for a quick fix of pho. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking to get some pho in the Gordon head area.
Great food, Pho is wonderful. Rare beef and the spicy noddles. Satisfy are cravings.
Will try the other dish next time.
The service is good and the waitress is very warm. I really recommend the spicy beef noodle soup, it tastes really nice with the chilli oil.
Food here is pretty good and super affordable. Only downside is the limited space but other than my experience here has been positive so far.
They have delicious food with a large menu that includes value combos and specialty items such as lobster tail and steak pho. The server was quick to serve us. The tea was delicious. Highly recommended
We found a parking spot out front which was steps away from the door. The door opened with ease and the air inside was fresh and fragrant.
I have to stop my self from going here everyday, trying to go only once or twice a week because I can definitely eat here everyday. Noodle soups are great! Although sometimes wish the soup was a bit warmer. I can definitely recommend to anyone who likes pho to go here.
