Lovely gluten-free bakery with plenty of options. Make sure to come earlier in the day as the afternoon selection is low. Fresh and delicious finds and such a great option to have. Sourdough, cheese buns, galettes, desserts, breads and so much more. Prices are on the medium - higher side, but it’s understandable and how it goes in the gluten-free world. Worth a visit!

I was so excited to find a bakery that was all gluten free!! There is a good variety of baked items from bread and buns to cookies, cakes and desserts. We had a savoury spinach and feta galette for lunch that was amazing! My husband said he would never have known that it was gluten free and it was delicious. Their “everything cookie”. Was moist and chewy and very tasty. I highly recommend checking out this bakery if you want high quality gluten free baking!

Such a good place for great gluten free fresh baked products, so lucky to have this gem of a bakery in this neighborhood. Our favorites are the desserts with so many to choose from. The fresh bread loaves are also super good.

Great selection of gluten free baked goods. We tried 4 different items, and they were all delicious. Textures were quite close to their wheat versions so that was extra nice. Service was friendly and done with a smile. Was just visiting Victoria so didn't get a chance to return, but I highly recommend this bakery.

Very friendly little bakery with considerate staff. Tried the Carrot, Date, & Orange Muffin — good except for the flavour of baking soda that wasn't well hidden. Their tea (Imperial Earl Grey) was roundly tasty. It's a cozy spot and the aroma of baked goods was too much to resist.

I went just before closing & didn’t expect to find anything. I got a sandwich and carrot muffin. Both were good but the muffin was exceptional! If this wasn’t a dedicated gf bakery I would have questioned wether or not it was gf. Looking forward to going back to Victoria to stop by Origin.

As someone living with celiac disease, it is so nice to feel safe eating delicious tarts, pies, sandwiches, and bread! This year at Thanksgiving, the GF pie was better than the glutinous pie!

We visited this bakery as it’s one of the few gluten free places in Victoria. We had a couple of baguettes and a some pastries and everything was super delicious and done with fresh ingredients and of course 100% gluten free! :)The staff was very friendly and eager to help with all my questions. My husband is celiac and dairy free. It is great to be able to go to a bakery where he can eat. Being celiac often means compromising on flavour and or texture. The recipes are all delicious and it’s easy to find what he can and cannot eat. We are now regulars.

Easy to park, bike, transit options. Extreme gluten-free environment. I purchased a sour dough bread which had some caraway seeds in it. The bread was a bit glueish but they have many kinds so i will try a different one. Purchased a very nice group of pastries for a dinner party which had a dehydrated sugared blood orange on it. Delicious and everyone loved them. Also got a trail mix granola Bar which is one of the nicest bars i have ever tried and had lots of delicious full sized almonds and a chewy texture. All in all very good experience and i thought the staff were especially sweet ¨̮

Origins makes the best gluten free I've ever eaten. I've known I'm celiac for 30 years and the early days were dodgy at best so I'm very grateful to have Origins bakery in our city. I only wish they would make more baguettes - 2 visits this week and baguettes were sold out - one of the days by noon! Sadly on both visits I left with nothing . The dairy free products aren't my favourite so I avoid them but if I didn't have a choice of eating DF I might think differently.

First time at Origin yesterday. I went in to get my wife a gluten-free vegan mocha cake for her birthday. The cake ended up tasting decent; however, the customer service has much to be desired. When I asked if they could pipe a message on the top of the cake, the counter clerk definitely tried. But all of the bakers were having a meeting at the time and despite the clerk asking, they flat out refused to do it. I could sense that the clerk was rather embarrassed
In contrast, I just happened to have the cake with me at Fairfield Thrifty's right afterwards and I took a chance to see if the bakery would write a birthday message on a cake that I didn't even buy there. I surely couldn't blame them if they refused, it was a long shot. Guess what? They were having a meeting themselves but they did it HAPPILY. Again, I didn't even buy it there.
What a contrast in customer service. I waited a day before I wrote this and I'm still annoyed/disappointed. I guess you guys made a lasting first impression - just probably not the one you wanted.

Best Gluten-Free Bakery I have ever been to in the World. Seriously, I travel everywhere in Europe, across North America and Down Under as a performing musician and no Bakery thus far has come even close. The Vegan Chocolate Cupcakes and Pizza are my favourites!
