Was very excited to meet my new neighbours at MOMO Sushi today :)
They were very friendly, knowledgeable about vegan dietary restrictions, and offered great suggestions.
I tried the avocado roll, veggie roll, yam roll, and the agedashi tofu.
My favorite was the yam roll. Would recommend :)

Victoria island was the best sushi I've ever had. The rest of the items also were great, high-quality fish, great customer service, and very friendly staff. Definitely will go again.

Best sushi I've had, I refuse to eat it anywhere else! Crunch go go roll is my go to order, and I love it every time! Along with that, the tempura is great aswell; perfect sauce, perfect crispness. The staff are wonderful and attentive, if it seems they're taking a long time it's usually because they are multitasking as they get a ton of online orders! Overall a great place with amazing food.

The best sushi I’ve had in Victoria, and a lovely comfortable atmosphere! I got the seafood salad and my partner got the mango avocado roll and spicy sockeye roll and both were phenomenal. Will definitely be visiting again

This is an outstanding sushi restaurant. I live very close and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out for so long. Staff was so friendly and the pork gyoza was the best I’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable and all of the food was fresh and super tasty. Highly recommend!!!

Came here a few months ago and have been meaning to come back. Place is a joy to be in, food was great but the spicy sauce was a little too spicy for me. Definitely will be coming back.

Happy to have stumbled across this place. Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Victoria in the 10 years I’ve lived here. The spicy tuna roll was the best I’ve ever had. Owners are so nice and welcoming. Quick service even though they were clearly busy. Will definitely be back!

love the renos. i get takeout often. always had great sushi. for price, sashimi could be bit bigger last visit compared to every other time i order saahimi but overall delish sushi in town.

This is an awesome sushi experience! Sauces and dressings are incredible. Everything is super fresh and the flavors are like nowhere else. Joy is an absolute pleasure to be around and the food cannot be beaten. Will definitely return and recommend to friends!

Got for delivery, ordered takoyaki, dynamite roll, 2 pc hamachi and 2 pc toro nigiri.
Takoyaki was a bit squishy, but expected because of delivery.
Delicious nevertheless, would definitely get again if eating in person.
Toro melted in my mouth, no fishy taste at all, seemed fresh.
Only reason giving 4 stars is the hamachi had a fishy undertaste, as if it were frozen for a bit or not very fresh.
Surprising since hamachi is known to have very little to no fishiness to it.
Still finished though.
7.5/10, would probably give an 8 or 8.5/10 if I dined again in person.

The owner is super friendly. Warm and sincere. You can really notice it with the food as well. Well prepared and full of flavour. I ordered the Nigiri Bento Box and it was perfect! All except the beef teriyaki was a little bit salty to my taste, but the rest was amazing. Amazing tempura, salad, and nigiri. Thanks so much, I'll be back for sure!

Momo Sushi is HANDS DOWN Victoria's best take away sushi! The quality, flavours and presentation are excellent. We always go there when we're in the downtown area and often just go pick it up if we feel like having sushi at home on a lazy day. The location is perfect as you don't have to deal with downtown traffic and there is enough free parking in back that I've never had to look elsewhere. The family that owns and operates this establishment is wonderful and so hard working. We will continue to eat here and rave about it indefinitely. 5 stars.

Amazing food, and a great family who owns it... The chef is SO lovely, and always makes me feel so welcome (as opposed to the many sushi chefs I've encountered, who just silently work behind the counter).
But the food... I can't tell you enough how amazing the quality is for a "take-out" place, and for the price you get. I was absolutely blown away the 1st time. Their Dynamite roll is absolutely beyond that... absolute favourite out of everyone elses in town. And their Tuna Tataki... heaven. Just pure Heaven. I could go on for days about their food. I have never been disappointed!!!!
The ONLY THING I wish was different.... I wish they were on Skipthedishes!! Would be amazing to be able to access them via delivery as I dont live 3 blocks away anymore (also would me amazing for days like today, when I am sick/can barely get out of bed but still have a crazy craving for Momo!!!). <3 <3 <3

Thought I would give them a chance as I was passing by and quite hungry. Above average for what I was expecting, good service and better atmosphere than a lot of the establishments in same price bracket. Will recommend if quality is kept up.

I hear the sushi is wonderful. Place looks cool. Unfortunately I will never know because there are stairs and no wheelchair ramp. I'm not upset about it, it's just a fact, and I consciously try to direct my expenditures towards businesses I can access.

My boyfriend and I ordered some sushi to go lastnight, it was delicious! We loved the hint of sweetness to their spicy rolls. Overall a great meal and wonderful staff. We will be back!
