my man and I came here today for the first time and it was so lovely. the food was great, lady at the counter was very friendly (even skipping the tip option for us because their ice machine was down, although we would have tipped anyway!!!), and the whole atmosphere was wonderful. good prices too and quite a lot to choose from. even food presentation is careful here. thanks so much and we'll definitely be back again!

This Wednesday, four of us passed Sandwich Corner Cafe and we wanted to go in for a cup of coffee and have a rest. When we walked into this cozy cafe, the owner greeted us warmly, we ordered four different cups of coffee and a serving of chicken Panini. Panini was very delicious, the coffee was authentic, everyone was satisfied, and we would come here again. Highly commended!

What friendly owners! Ordered Breakfast sandwich set - toasts with perfectly cooked over-easy egg & 4 slices of bacon offered with fresh lemons and fresh strawberries. Coffee is aromatic & delicious. Highly recommend anyone to come here for breakfast / brunch. Location is about 5 minute walk from The Empress.

Wonderful little Mom&Pop spot for breakfast and lunch. My party of 3 had breakfast here and everyone came out very happy with their meal. The couple running the place were incredibly nice and welcoming. Their contagious smiles made my day so much brighter.

On the recommendation of a friend, we had an afternoon coffee here when we visited Victoria from Vancouver. The coffee is so good and the famous chicken panini is very delicious. The coffee shop owner is friendly and welcoming, and the shop is very close to Victoria Harbour. We will definitely come again next time.

Friendly service- the owner is seriously so sweet. The sandwich and salad was good. If you’re looking to for something to fill you up it’ll definitely do the job, and very affordable food given the location. Only thing I’d skip next time is the chowder.

All I can say is wow. Quaint little sandwich shop with 5 tables and great service. The chicken panini I ordered was tasty and delivered quick. The drink prices are also much better than anywhere else I've been in Victoria, their debit machines don't even ask for a tip! I fully recommend this spot for a quick bite or coffee.

So cozy more than I imagined Although its small cafe, with just simple decorations but I felt so relaxed while eating panini very quiet and I think the corner location made it so special.
Also to mention the staff were so friendly and nice.

Aptly named. Their paninis come cut into triangles. Overall, the paninis were tasty. They were made quickly and packed to go. Their takeout container held up well, and was recyclable. Reasonably priced. A good place to grab a bite to eat on the go.

Cute little spot. Got the breakfast plate, well after their breakfast cut off time. There is a very small language barrier, but they are super friendly and grateful for you to be there. And to me, that is very important! Great customer service with huge smiles!

Where to start...<br/>I will make this short and sweet.<br/>I have eaten at Jutland Sandwich Corner numerous times and I have never had a bad experience...<br/>Thought I would try out the dwtn location on Courtenay, wishing I hadn't.<br/><br/>I ordered a Panini to go, only to discover that when I walked the 3 minutes back to my office, the sandwich was so soggy that my bread had fallen to pieces so unless I wanted a tossed sandwich salad, I was going hungry.<br/><br/>I called the cafe to let them know of my predicament, only to be transferred 3 times so that someone who spoke/understood English, which was no help because all he said to me was that there was no way my sandwich was soggy...I asked if I could come back and have a replacement and I was told no, WTF<br/>So I said thank you for allowing me to go hungry and I hung up.<br/>I am out $9, hungry as heck and will NEVER return to Sandwich Corner Cafe.<br/><br/>Diners-BEWARE

Tasty REAL Soup and absolutely fresh salad. I stopped by this place while in Victoria for a few days Had never been there before and was absolutely impressed with the quality of food, the service and the price. The soup was fresh, full of veggies and flavorful, the salad so fresh and tasty. The cook and the wait staff where very friendly and helpful Probably one of the best values in Victoria for lunch!.

Don't go for anything other than the Sandwiches.... I have generally enjoyed their paninis (especially the philly) and their service is generally adequate so long as they're not busy, but today I was craving something a little more traditional so I ordered their breakfast "special".<br/><br/>I paid over ten dollars for a banana, two eggs, a few miniscule pieces of cold bacon and four pieces of "toast"- or rather, warmed bread. It was soft, almost soggy, and not actually toasted at all.<br/><br/>Once again, their Sandwiches are fine, but do not ever order anything but.

Great food, good prices. The Philly cheese steak Panini was probably the best I've ever had, and my girlfriend rated her chicken panini about 7.5/10. Two Paninis and two drinks came to about 22, pretty good for lunch for two in my book. Will definitely be coming back here again.
