Oh that breakfast sandwich…. I got the aji verde breakfast sandwich with a side of bacon and it was delicious!
The eggs in the omelette were so fluffy and flavourful. All the flavours meld together beautifully and it is very satisfying. The brioche bun was soft and fresh.
The portion sizes are plentiful.

Was an absolute hidden gem for our first trip to Victoria. We were heading to a highly recommended place across the street that had a line for brunch, too long for us. Took a shot at Sherwood and am thankful now for that long line across the street. Would absolutely make this stop again the next time we’re back in Victoria. Service was amazing and some how, the food was even better!
A must try!! We got the lox toast, breakfast sandwich, and the butternut squash sandwich. Our server was so helpful and kind, I think his name was jack? (Long brown hair, moustache and tattoos)

Had a really nice brunch here. We were quickly seated and got our order in for eggs benedict. Food tasted excellent and the coffee was great too. Mimosas are a bit smaller than expected although made up for in taste. Would recommend for a quick and tasty breakfast.

I feel the need to shout this from the roof tops!!! This was an excellent meal with excellent service. I can’t believe I spend as much time as I do in Victoria, with parents who live here and I didn’t know about Sherwood until today.
I met a friend here for coffee and was so happy to see that they offer coconut milk. The last of the plant based milks that are offered at coffee shops.
I took a peek at the dinner menu and talked my dad into trying it out for dinner (my last meal with him before I fly out).
First of all we had THE best waitress/server!! Ally was bubbly, informative, and attentive. She knew the menu, made amazing suggestions and took the time to get to know us.
It’s suggested that the plates are for sharing so that’s exactly what we did.
Cauliflower steak, sardines, beetroot salad and mushroom calamari. Fresh, delicious, inventive and beautiful.
Cocktails were amazing as well. I had the humble bee and asked for it to be less sweet than normal. The bartender personally came over and made sure that I didn’t need anymore locally sourced honey. The 4 ingredients were all grown within 4km of the restaurant. Fabulous!!!
Victoria needs more creative, inspired restaurants like this one. I will be back for sure.
Great spot for breakfast & brunch! The outdoor seating is great, too. Our server, Jack, was super friendly, and the food and coffee were both perfect! It made our morning. They have options for vegans - I had the avocado toast, minus the egg, and I got extra avo in lieu of the egg. I can’t wait to go back & try the Bircher oat bowl next time.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment at Sherwood! We came in for the 3 Course menu - a perfectly thought out menu with some really great choices for all tastes. We had some truly lovely team members during dinner - Charlotte, Drew and Garet are lovely humans and helped make for a great date night!
We settled on Stuffed Dates/Cheese & Meat Board for 1st, Trout/Duck Confit for 2nd and Key Lime Pie/Pot de Creme for 3rd. All truly delicious choices we shared back and forth - gotta say, there are truly no bad options on the menu. Like tempted to lick the plate delicious - leave no parsnip purée or sauce behind friends.
I’ve also loved their Happy Hour menu - personally a fan of the concise, locally focused, cocktail menu (full of in house produced magic) including the largest Classic Cocktails menu I’ve seen on a menu before. Highly recommend all things Sherwood - and the Niçoise salad to go is my favorite lunch when I’m too busy to sit and enjoy!
Best food I’ve ever eaten , service is phenomenal, amazing environment, 10/10 recommended. Ally was our server and made sure we got our food as quick as we could even when it was busy.
Had a fantastic, romantic evening at this lovely restaurant. Great ambiance, very cool Industrial decor. The service was amazing - they asked about dietary restrictions (vegan, celiac) when confirming our reservation over the phone and when we arrived, the staff was knowledgeable and was prepared to discuss/adjust the menu for us. The food was excellent - presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and we will be back.
We wanted a decent brunch without waiting for an hour on a Sunday morning. We popped into the Sherwood, we’re seated within 15 minutes and had a delicious meal. Coffee was excellent too! We’ll be back!
