I love this food and I love these women. Truly delicious, lovely, warm and authentic atmosphere (let yourself sit inside and let Amharic wash over you). I ate the vegetarian combo.

First time trying Ethiopian food! I got the vegetable combo and it was awesome! The price on their menu was very affordable. The lady preparing the food was very courteous. This place was really good and it was a great meal!

Soooo happy to have stumbled upon this little spot in cook street village. Located in a small strip of several restaurants, seating and ambience is very casual. Had the combination plate and the food was super quick, price was right, flavours were amazing. Very glad to find an Ethiopian place in Vic!

The restaurant is located in the “Cook Street Village Food Court”, at the far end. The women making the food was really friendly and wonderful to chat with. Delicious vegetarian platter, I totally recommend it!

Love the flavours here. You can go 100% veggie or opt for a spicy beef combo. Great place for lunch on a nice day when you can sit out side on their back patio. The portions are generous and everything is made in house.

Absolutely LOVE this place! 😍 The food is so tasty, and reasonably priced for the portions. I love the vegetarian combo plate or the beef combo plate. Hours can vary (I’ve gone and they have been closed randomly) so make sure you call ahead or have a back up plan. Definitely must try this hidden gem! ✨

A great little spot in Victoria to grab a quick delicious Ethiopian meal. I'm a pretty huge fan of injera so it was good to find a place so close to downtown. Their options are all pretty good with nice sized portions. A good place for vegetarians and committed carnivores.

So glad we finally gave this little spot a second chance. We had ordered from them in the past but it has arrived cold and not so good, it is def a meal you enjoy right away. The sweet lady serving us gave us the warmest smile and we were so pleased with our veggie combo plate. The spicy lentils are incredible and tho the injera lacks a bit of taste, the plate was still good. The seating was very cute and comfy, such a nice little spot. Next time, I will be ordering a second plate because the portion was a bit small but the price was fair. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy more !

This small market stall restaurant in Cook Street village serves up delicious and inexpensive Ethiopian cuisine. The vegetarian combo with 3 lentil items, cabbage, potato and greens was enough to share and vegan to boot! Highly recommended.

Home cooked, fresh healthy meal. One of the tastiest we have had on the island. Meat and veg combination was great.
Nice friendly lady who cooks and serves the meals. Relaxing atmosphere.
Cool concept with a coffee and Mexican place in the same building.

The combo plate is amazing, and best value on cook street imo. Also the owner is awesome.

I love the food! Many different flavours make me feel like i was travelling to a different country! I love the fact that you can eat it with your hands only! i think it makes the experience even more interesting! The lady working there is really nice! I will come back here for sure and if you haven't tried it yet you should! :)
