Ordered takeout earlier this week from here. Both combo for 1 A and combo for 1 B, which were good portions. The chow mein was delicious. However my beef and broccoli was not as good as I expected. I have read on here that it is much better when dining in, so I will have to try that.
Enjoyed my meal from Jack's today. Ordered plain chowmein and 2 egg rolls which were priced very reasonably. Chowmein had good flavor and aroma. The noodles were a bit thick but that is purely a personal preference thing and didn't take away from the dish. The egg rolls were good but I didn't feel b
This place is one of the best in town honestly. I have been coming here for 18 years. Not only is this place family owned and run but they welcome you like you're part of the family. The service is amazing and the food will keep you coming back for more.
Always good food. We are treated very well. So nice to eat in and have the food piping hot.
Chinese tea is great, and the simple won ton soup with crunchy water chestnuts and sesame oil is my favorite!

Ordered take out around 8pm on a Friday, food was ready within 15 minutes. Prices were decent and comparable with other restaurants in the area. Food was hot and tasted fresh, lots of flavour in all the dishes. This will be our go to Chinese restaurant from now on. Would recommend, try it out!
I usually order house special chow mein. Excellent quality. I also really like dinner for one "B". Been a customer for 20 years which says a lot. I have tried other places on days when Jack's was closed, but they are not as good I think Jack's is the best in Victoria. Cheers! Lee

Just finished this delicious food tonight. Worth every penny. The staff are super friendly as well. I’ve tried a few Chinese restaurants but Jack’s will be my go to now.

I always go here when my in-laws are in town. One time I was missing an item and they made a note of it. Called back months later to make an order and they had it noted and gave me a free item. Great food and service.
We ordered take out for the 1st time ever and couldn't be happier. All the food was really good and the portions were big. We ordered the dinner for 4 and had plenty leftovers for lunch the next day.
