The highlight
My favorite poke restaurant! I've been going regularly for delicious and hearty poke for 4 years.
I make mine on demand and this establishment is without hesitation the best in victoria for having tried others. The portions are generous and it tastes good (unlike Poke lounge yates street!), the pric
Best Poké I’ve had. And I’ve had a lot…
I got the Island Bowl and was seriously impressed… the fish just tastes so fresh and has an irresistible marinade coating. All the ingredients were bursting with flavor and worked together so well… was a bit steep at $15-20 per bowl but ended up being so good
“When life gives you lemons… squeeze them, add salt, garlic, oils, honey, and create a marinade for cubed fish”…….this is what I imagine the owners think at Island Poke.
Very fresh and bright ingredients. I had the Ohana bowl for lunch. A great size and prepared by friendly staff. I will be back. Y
Delicious poke with crunchy and umami toppings. Requested the tangerines on the side and the service kindly put the portion into small containers.
Had the regular size make your own bowl with marinated salmon and tuna. I've had poke from Hawaii and Vancouver and overall this place tasted good. They've got a good selection of toppings to add. For the price it was decent for Victoria compared to Vancouver or elsewhere. They do have a limit of 6
“The fresh fish goes crazy good. There is a wide variety of bowls and all the signature are tasty. Their service wizard fast no lie”

“Would recommend the spicy salmon, always a solids choice. I like how you can pick and choose whatever you want. Higher the spice, the better the food.”

Incredible! Staff did an excellent job explaining the options and the food was fresh and amazing! I'd thought it was basically going to taste like a bowl of sushi before I went but it was quite a different experience. Tried the Crunchii bowl and the flavours of fruit, fish, and vegetables fused toge
Consistently a great bowl. The ingredients are always so fresh and the portion and proportion are ON POINT Every. Single. Time! The store is always clean inside and service is fast and friendly. I am here probably at least three dinners out of the seven in a week because island poké is life.
I got a vegan tofu bowl. It tastes descent. I am only giving it a four star for the price and perceived value. I don't think a vegan bowl should be as expensive as the ones with expensive fresh fish in it.
I paid ~17 dollars for my bowl because avocado was charged $2.
First visit of many by the look and taste of things. My bowl was tasty and creative. All the ingredients are fresh and you can order either a set bowl or a DIY bowl with ingredients of your choice. The location is clean and bright with big windows.
Finally ordered take out to give this place a try. SOOOOO good! We had the choose your own bowls, everything was fresh and full of flavour, the kids even split a bowl and actually enjoyed it. Worth it 100% good to the last bite. Definitely going back.
The place had a weird smell but the food was delicious. The staff were a blast to order from.
I can't say enough about how great this gem is. I go almost every day because the food is so good and affordable with hearty portions and delicious recipes. The staff are friendly, they remember your name, and always go the extra mile.
My top 1 dining place in Victoria. Countless times to go for the Crunchii (my favorite flavor!) However, a little upset about the rising price and decreasing portion. Though it still worth the price to have a nutritious meal. Definitely have the meal in store rather than to go as the portion shrinks
