My group of 6 and I had a wonderful dinner here!! The service and food were excellent. I would request the tatami room for larger groups!

I ordered the Crab pressed sushi and it was perfection! Everything from the sear on the top, to the texture of the avocado and cucumber in the middle, the taste of the crab, the amount of sauce, and the presentation. I will definitely order this and other varieties again! I also ordered edamame and green tea. The edamame was average and the green tea was fine…. slightly too hot. But overall a great experience! I’ll be back for more pressed sushi and to try their lunch specials. Thank you to the server who confirmed it came with real crab, not imitation crab! It really makes a difference in taste and texture.

Went for a big sushi dinner with two friends and their little one, who have just moved to town.
Great spot, beautifully decorated. Prompt, personable server, joking with us and the wee one at our table!
The appies came quick, and the sake poured easily (and responsibly 😉)
Sushi rolls were incredibly delicious!
We will definitely be coming back for more!

This place has a charm to it. Family run business that is trying to make their restaurant look like number one despite some fatigued looking seats. Nevertheless, the food is good and there are lots of places for a group to sit. And plenty to see.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Tinh the owner was a Jem! He surprised us with Green Dragon shots which were delicious. I got the Sunrise roll and rainbow roll. My friends got the lobster, crispy and Fuji roll. We had nothing to complain about! Wood highly recommended and they have gluten free options!

Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented sushi. Proportion of sushi components was perfect. Overall friendly and relatively quick service. Atmosphere was a bit somber with a bit of a funky smell. Would return!

Really great atmosphere! Very intriguing, Japanese looking and the rooms in the back have doors and lead to a more private experience! The food took a while to come though: 3 dishes came quickly and the other 3 dishes came 10/15 minutes later. The first 3 had already finished their meals by the time the other 3 got to start. We thought they forgot about us and nobody came to let us know what's happening :/

Menu at this Japanese restaurant was HUGE! Too many good choice to pick from. We went with the Lobster roll <3.... delicious! Had crab pressed sushi.... REAL CRAB!!! .. of course my favorite was salmon & toro sashimi. Food was so fresh, it didn't take long to come out as we were starving. I would recommend this place to all ages. Cool fun atmosphere, but also very family friendly.

Best sushi in Victoria! Rolls are delicious and the fish is always super fresh and high quality. This place will easily become your go-to sushi spot :)

I don’t know if I ordered really good ones or all of them has this quality! Crispy roll was 7/10 and bomb roll was 10/10 the price was also reasonable I think in considering buying a sushi box from grocery costs around 10 dollar so 12-15 for a good quality sushi is reasonable. The place is nice also and staff are respectful. I’ll go back to try more. Also I thought that one roll won’t be enough for me but I had to take 6 pieces home (haha).

The cuisine and even the interior decoration are very authentic, exactly the way we experienced it in Japan. We had Sushi and Katsudon, the quality was very good and the meals tasty and delicious. We'll definitely eat here again.
