I have not been to the location but I know people who are in Victoria on a regular basis and always bring me back a dozen. The bagel is a cross between a true Montreal bagel and a New York style. the best bagels on this island period. the guy who runs this place is also radiating in coolness. these bagels are just as good as they are in montreal! i literally ran 6km in the rain today to get a bakers dozen. fair prices too.
I adore these bagels.... and I miss them. I now live in whiterock and cant get a decent bagel here! can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks... what are your hours for the holidays? I'm gonna stock up. 💜
I have just returned from Montreal and tried bagels from both Fairmont Bagels and St-Viateur Bagel Shop. Both of the famous institutions make delicious bagels. However, after having them today from Mount Royal Bagel Factory, right here in Victoria, I can honestly say I prefer the the ones here❗️🥇⭐️⭐
Grabbed some fresh bagels on the way out of Victoria. Had a great variety of bagels and cream cheese. They also provide plastic knives which were a great help. The only disappointing thing was that the bagels were warm like I hope they would be but I brought them back to toast and they were great.
Delicious, consistent. Try the lox or cilantro cream cheese ! A Fernwood/ North Park staple
Best bagels, I absolutely love the poppyseed one and their cream cheese, such a lovely hidden gem.
Close enough to be called a bagel. To be clear though, they are still nearly twice the size of Montreal bagels. That said, they’re the only ones I recommend if you’re not in MTL and NYC.

Always fresh, always delicious! This is how bagels should be, so soft on the inside! Delicious to just tear apart and eat with their many flavours of cream cheese! (Our favourite are the cheese bagels with the sundried tomato cream cheese!)

As a Montrealer, I have high standards for bagels. They aren't exactly St. Viateur but still very good. I go often and really enjoy their bagels.

An absolute classic, they do one thing and they do it well. Super straight forwards and good bagels and cream cheese with a good amount of range. Their plain cream cheese is the best I’ve ever had. While I love all the kinds I've tried here, I am obsessed with the cinnamon bagels! Once you toast them, they get a wonderfully crisp crust. The cream cheese is light and airy and comes in multiple flavours, though I've only had the plain, I wouldn't skip adding it to your purchase. Really affordabl
By far the best place to get fresh bagels in Victoria. You must get the cream cheese as well! Can't say enough about a soft, warm cinnamon bagel with honey vanilla cream cheese. You can also find Mount Royal Bagels in various grocery stores around town but definitely worth picking them up right from
