Very authentic! The owner and his family cook and run this restaurant. The daughter is one of the front room hosts. Her dad even cures the Yunnan ham! This is the real deal folks! You add all your own ingredients to the boiling broth and cook to your liking. Add the soy sauce, black vinegar and hot pepper sauce on the table to the soup if you want more flavor. Support this great family restaurant in Chinatown!

It was our first time trying Yunnan noodles and we loved it! The broth was so flavorful, piping hot, and just delicious with all the yummy toppings and the slippery rice noodles. We also got a couple of side dishes which were delicious and clearly made with care - pig ears were the most cleanly cut and nicely presented I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant. So good, and very comforting! Thanks for the great meal and experience

I absolutely adore Little Yunnan! We discovered Crossing The Bridge Noodle soup while traveling in China and we're so happy to have one here. Perfect on a cold rainy day! The A1 Traditional is our go to. We love the little side dishes as well, we always get the pickled veggies and dry cured beef. The dumplings are also a good decision. Just delicious all around!

ONE OF THE BEST NOODLES I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE! Not only it was a great experience of serving ourselves the noodle mix, the taste is incredible. The waitress is also very nice, very fast service. Their pork ribs is also a must try, and their pork belly is also good. Definitely coming back when visiting victoria & its chinatown.

Food was great! Wonton needs a bit more favour. Soup was very hot for cross bridge noodle but after adding the ingredients, it becomes warm. Overall, it is very good!

Nice restaurant located in Victoria Chinatown near the Fan Tan Alley. Their feature is cross bright noodle soup from Yunnan. To be honest not the worst but not the best either. Feels like the soup base add a lot MSG because very savoury. The portion is not big each ingredient like only one or two bites. Noodle doesn’t feel fresh it’s pre-cooked. If just for simple dinner that’s okay but don’t expect too much fancy.

It was my first time trying the bridge noodles. It was quite interesting. The rice noodles were a perfect texture. The hot broth could have been seasoned more. But all in all a good experience.

The soft tofu rice noodles. OUT OF THIS WORLD. I loved the spicy chili beef, definitely something to get if you're in the mood for a face numbing good time. I came here two nights in a row, and I have no regrets!

A rare find of 过桥米线 (“crossing-the-bridge noodles”) served in the traditional way! Guess it’s part of the fun to put small plates of a variety of meat and veggies into the boiling chicken broth in a sensible order and let the final cooking be done right in front of you. The rich broth with fresh ingredients and smooth rice noodles couldn’t be more satisfying and heart warming. The tofu and kelp salad side dishes were tasty as well.

We love the food at this restaurant, especially the pickled vegetables. They are not for the faint hearted…they are really, really spicy. Another dish we cannot live without is the spicy dried beef. Last night we tried the pan fried dumplings which were also delicious. We are working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The chef is amazing… we were seated after a party of ten, and yet our dishes came within a few minutes, hot, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy authentic, spicy Chinese food, and great service.

This is a gem in Chinatown. I found delicious vegan food here. The stewed soy sauce noodle is quite tasty. Typical vegan noodles tend to be bland, but this restaurant is exceptional. They use mushrooms to create delicious flavor which surpasses meat dishes in my opinion. My husband had the vegan crossing bridge noodle. The mushroom based broth is tasty. The price is lower than other restaurants. A noodle dish only costs 12 dollars. In Victoria, a main dish typically costs 15 CAD$. Friendly staff. I would go back again. I hope they develop more vegan choices in the future.
