We loved our visit to the Six Mile Pub. As the oldest pub on Vancouver Island, it has an authentic atmosphere that other pubs try to replicate. British pub food is comfort food at its core, but when you combine that with a commitment to fresh. Local, sustainably sourced cuisine, you get something truly wonderful. We opened with the beetroot salad, which was a burst of fresh goodness, and also shared the bourbon and beer pierogies (which was a mistake - we should have gotten two serves because they were amazing!). My wife had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna, which she enjoyed a lot, and I had the bangers and mash, which were top notch - the high quality of the meet was evident. We would have liked dessert but we were too full! Service was great - attentive without being too much in our faces, and the facilities were nice and clean. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in Victoria (but you'll need a car to get there).
The inviting ambience and location, coupled with excellent food and customer service, make it a standout pub on Vancouver Island. Dining on the patio with a gorgeous view on a nice sunny day is such a bonus. The wide variety of vegan options adds to the appeal, making it an ideal choice for guests with discerning tastes for plant-based dishes. Highly recommend this place.
My partner and I came here to grab an early dinner. We ordered the lobster mac n cheese and the beef dip. Both dishes were surprisingly delicious. The mac n cheese exceeded my expectations, it was creamy and filling; they were not shy with the amount of lobster they gave as well. The beef dip was really good, I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. The fries that came with it was salted to perfection. Overall a wonderful place to go! The only reason a star was removed was due to how long the food took; we waited for over half an hour and we were the only people in the pub.
Went here for a quick lunch. Had the fish and chips and shepherds pie. Everything was cooked well, and the shepherds pie was very flavorful. Like that they do a mix of beef and mutton.
Service was great, and the atmosphere is relaxed. They had non-alcoholic beer on the menu, so that was a welcome treat to have with our meals. Thank you!
This pub has a wonderful patio that was perfect for a lunch stop. The food was fast and delicious. Our server was very friendly. I really liked the atmosphere.

Six Mile Pub is said to be British Columbia’s oldest pub
Established 1855 . It was such a warm cozy place! You defiantly are walking into a different time and place when you step inside. Has a lot of character. Staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. Its a large space with lots of seating. Had a couple drinks and ordered there calamari and vegan Shepard pie! Both dishes were delicious and flavorful! To find a good selection of vegan/plant based items on the menu at a pub was a very pleasant surprise! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Victoria BC. Thanks so much for your amazing food and warm atmosphere!
Not your average pub food. Everything is elevated well above the norm. Great food, great service and a pleasant overall atmosphere. I will go back again and again.
Food was delicious and great. Waiting for food was just a bit tiny long and was expecting bigger portion, but overall service was friendly. Waitress was always refilling our drinks and making sure we were good. On a Tuesday evening, it was not super busy and a calmer atmosphere.
We had our office staff party at 6 Mile on Nov 25 2023. We cannot express how above and beyond the staff, chef, kitchen, planning, service managers did to ensure we were taken care of. We have some complex diet plans and the chef and thier staff delivered amazing food! Megan, our server? Man she is the best! We cannot say enough amazing words to describe how well taken care of We felt. Thank you all from

Was visiting Victoria, and a friend recommended i check out Six mile pub. Told me it was the oldest pub in BC. The waitress was very nice, the Drinks were cold. I ordered the Mac and cheese with Bacon, and my laws it was delicious. Great place to come with friends, or if you're flying solo.
Being celiac I love coming here when I visit my best friend. Today I had the buffalo chicken burger and was delicious. So were the GF onion rings!
I went here last night my company 🎄 party...when we arrived I ordered a drink 🍸 non alcoholic $6.95 had the cod and fries with Cole slaw.
The drink was good until I realized it was an imposter with no booze my bad haha.
The fish was moist in the middle but I didn't care for the coating was too light but was ok, fries were fine and slaw was good.
It was really busy around 6-7 pm and we couldn't hear each other speak we had to scream to hear each other.
I didn't find the server overly friendly and not much for smiles. Overall it was a decent visit. Nothing popped for me at this pub not sure I will be back.
Gluten free for a dozen years and this is the best gluten free hamburger bun I've ever had. They make them in house and I kid you not, I squished my daughter's burger as much as I could, and the bun just came back up.
The meal was excellent, well priced, with personal and attentive service. This place is a gem.
The place looks great on the outside and in. The bar had stained glass trim around it. The draft beers to choose from were many. I noticed they had 1516 Lager on tap. I remembered drinking it in wonderful Pub in Endinburgh Scotland. We went there many times.
So, I was so happy to be able to drink this beer again. The wife took a picture of me holding up a pint of this tasty beer. Now, it's my profile photo on Facebook.
The seafood spaghetti was just what the doctor ordered. The mussels were large and sweet tasting. The corn soup had a different taste than we expected. We shared the soup and seafood spaghetti. It was enough for us. No dessert this time, but looking forward to trying one out the time we go there. Check it out!
Delicious!! Beautiful parmesan truffle fries, sandwich was delicious. Always a wonderful meal here. Server could have been happier to be there but anyways...
