We had such a nice night. We came for a comedy night and while we had to buy tickets they were very reasonably priced. The food was pretty good, drinks were good too. I ordered a cocktail I didn't like and they happily exchanged it for another. The atmosphere and service were awesome. Great job The Mint team with Ok, Dope.

4 stars all around. Lots of good things to say about this place. The staff for the most part are extremely friendly, great at what they do, and generally speaking they treat people well (other than one or two people that are exceptions, but I pay them very little mind.) The food is quite good but not amazing, definitely a bit overpriced for what it is. The atmosphere is pretty awesome, and they have some form of entertainment every night, be it live music from a DJ or whatever, comedy nights, etc. Definitely worth checking this place out. <3

The food isn't bad, I just find it an odd mix and nothing quite what I want in a loungy-kinda place.
The service is always great. I often go there for the comedy shows, which is why I end up there even though I don't love the food selection.
Others must however, as it's been in Victoria forever. :)

I recently dined at The Mint in downtown Victoria and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The guest skills of the staff were exceptional and made me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. ππ
As for the food, I highly recommend the tofu dish - it was simply delicious! π±π² The dish was perfectly cooked and had a nice blend of flavors that left me wanting more. The chef truly knows how to work their magic in the kitchen. π€€
The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning - it was cozy, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. π―οΈβ€οΈ

Wow. What can I say. Heart of Victoria right here. Went in for wings, stayed for the show. Billy and (I'm sorry I couldn't get your name <3, you're beautiful!) Served me with wings (delicious!) But the best was the atmosphere! My candle was out, Billy hooked me up, I had so much help setting it into it's holder!! So much fun, met such nice people!! When things got shady, Billy fixed it, perfectly. I recommend this place for a great beer, and better wings! Don't be shy, experience Victoria's heart β€οΈπ!

We came just for the food, however the ambiance did seem right for a few drinks if your looking for it.
We tried the curries and cilantro sticky rice. The curries was more of and Indian style, and the sticky rice was not a traditional sticky rice, but more like a sushi sticky one.
Overall taste was fairly good on both our orders.. food was fresh. Staff was friendly.

Knew this place since its opening way back when as it took over the spot of one of my former favorite teenage stomping grounds (Victoria Underground Onramp CybercafΓ©) but never really had the chance to go in. I made an exception since I saw the sign for their appy hour which is 17:00-19:00 which is refreshingly late considering how I rush out after work to downtown and usually miss it with the bus commute.
The double mojito & the chicken poutine are okay, but the momos are amazing. I was recommended chicken which I had but the pork ones taste the best. I like the ambiance and I do see some areas where I do remembered the old days.
Perhaps someone should start up old meets from decades past in here. I wouldn't mind having some nostalgia resurfacing in this joint. The bartender's real sweet so don't be shy and go for the bar seating.

Imagine this: it's a Friday night at 11pm - and as much as Victoria is a cute town, there really isn't that many places to get any food late night that isn't fast food or pizza.
Enter The Mint. A full curry menu through late night!! Incredible. Ordered the lamb curry plate and it was delicious.

Getting a fantastic gluten-free meal at midnight - yes please! Ginger rice with tofu was so good, and heard great things about the salad with goat cheese too. Service was excellent: quick, friendly, and vibe was great. We shall be back!

I didn't eat when I was there. But the bartender & waitress were very good. Even gave us a great recommendation for dinner the next day. The atmosphere is cool & it is downstairs.

This place has such a vibe. Great staff and mouth watering Indian food. Good thing is they open everyday till 2am for drinks and food right in downtown.
