We had full tea at The Oaks, it was amazing! Such a big portion of food is served with a pot of tea. Will go back again soon to try other menus as well.
This is a very unique place! Oldest building in Oak Bay. A YUGE menu, which can be daunting to get through, but everything we had was quite tasty! Fair prices, electric crowd, warm service. More than meets the eye!
Just had a delicious breakfast here. Really liked the ambiance and the fact you’re not sitting on top of each other like in so many other places. Our server Nicole was a real pro and simply a delight.
A classic restaurant and tea house with considerable local history. Relatively inexpensive with tasty daily specials, each of which has ample proportions. All tea pots are a good size and come with Royal Dalton bone china and a memorable tea spoon. Several wines and beers to match many tastes plus l
Great atmosphere, friendly service and speedy kitchen. Enjoyed the burger and a beer deal. We will definitely be returning for some tea and a full english! Great to see another place with Guiness on tap :)
Prices are reasonable with generous portions. This was for 3 people. We did take a while to be seated, because the fridge obscures a bit of the waiting area, and the workers didn't regularly check on the waiting area to see if any customers were there. But once we were seated, the food arrived quick
Friendly service. Good prices for breakfast / lunch. Has a unique old time tea room charm. I liked my English breakfast but wasn't it supposed to come with a grilled tomato? Oh well, still good!
Our favourite daily special is the Burger and Pint on Wednesdays. Staff are very attentive, friendly, and efficient. We love going there for breakfast and lunch as well.
We had the Full Tea with some nice tea choices, a nice presentation, unique table ware, the finger sandwiches were very good, and the scones were large and excellent. Down side was no clotted cream or strawberry jam, store bought sweet dessert and the same jam ingredients were used in the parfait. W
Came here for dinner after a self guided bike tour of the beaches in Victoria BC with my partner. We walked in and we were kindly greeted by our server Soleil. As we sat down she immediately told us about the food special (steak & shrimp) and soup of the day. We couldn't pass on the food special so
A lovely & charming restaurant with delicious brunch selections. First time, I had the Veggie Benedict, and another time, the massive Veggie Omelette. Both items were delicious. Servers were efficient and friendly. The only minor "complaint" would be the Red Rose tea. The choice for their black te
Very nice dinner. The staff worked very hard for us. It was so good, seeing so many who've been so kind these past few months.
I had breakfast here with my 2 granddaughters celebrating 2 birthdays and everyone enjoyed both the food and the service....and all at a reasonable price. I'll be making The Oaks my goto everyday restaurant. Highly recommended..... although, and this is an addition pick your time as it can be noisy
I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. Friendly service with wonderful food. Great selection of food on the menus. Breakfast is served until 4pm. Very enjoyable!
Love this place. We have been twice in our first four days here on the island. Friday night for fish and chips and French onion soup, then on Monday for Full Tea and the Original Burger and fries. The place is a nice old fashioned pub, with a white exterior and large black beams. Inside is full of g
