Haultain Fish & Chips - Victoria - Photo album

Quite good. Crispy, well-cooked fish with a thin coating, good coleslaw, fries that came into their own with a little salt and malt vinegar. Not the best I've ever had, but I'm from the east coast and Atlantic cod is awesome, but solidly good, and would return.
Haultain is everything i want from a fish and chips restaurant. It’s a mom & pop with 2 very sweet and nice owners. The food is simple it is definitely not fine dining fish and chips but it hits the spot. Halibut i had was fresh abs delicious.
Really Great service. Great venue for quick dinner. Slightly odd aftertaste maybe a bit too acidic. Perhaps they put vinegar on?
Quality fish & chips. Not greasy or overly salty. Located off of Cook St. The kind lady who took the my order came out to my car with my order.
Very warm, welcoming, and delicious food. Able to accommodate for gluten-free, extra candies after the meal was very sweet
Great people who own the place! Halibut is always spectacular! Fast and pleasant! Love their chips too. No grease!! Yum😊
In a neighborhood. A plain looking older diner. A hidden gem of absolutely DELICIOUS halibut, ling cod and chips!
We stopped here for a mid-afternoon snack, ordered the 2-piece halibut and chips. The batter was perfectly crispy, you hear the crunch as you bite into it. The batter wasn’t too thick and the halibut was tender and flaky. $26.95 which is the least expensive of what I’ve found so far.
Very clean restaurant with excellent fish and chips. Highly rated as a community favorite!
This place is legendary. Anyone who slags this place you have every right to. But. I would say. It's always important to remember our histories and I feel like this building and what it does are a part of that, whether we like it to be or not. Boy voice to text allows for some very interesting revie
Our go to for fish and chips. Never soggy, never skimpy.
This is where my family would always get our fish and chips when I was little. I hadn’t been back in over a decade and I understand it has changed hands. It still had the understated and comfortable old school vibe. The person serving us was very friendly and happy to help if we needed her. The food
