My husband and I went in for a late lunch. Service was friendly and very polite but slow. We enjoyed the chill, laid back atmosphere and the paintings with the animals are cute and interesting. The food was delicious. We would have gone a second time, but we were just visiting Victoria.

Dropped in for a quick bite. My favorite was the Dark Matter beer by Hoyne brewing. The loaded tots were delicious and plenty for two to share. I love roasted carrots, and theirs did not disappoint, great flavor and perfectly spiced. Add smoked chicken to any dish to make it a perfect combination! I'm glad we stopped.

Crooked Goose has long been a favorite of mine since I first found it by accident around 2015. Every time I go I have to get their "the works wings" , they are the best wings I've ever had, hands-down! The atmosphere is friendly and warm; the staff works well together and keep a an up-beat vibe and are very informational and attentive.
During my recent visit I had Jewelley as a server for me and my girlfriend and she was incredibly pleasant, very attentive and charismatic. Two days later we came back and she already had our drinks memorized and was very friendly and warm.
For anyone looking for a "Local Secret Spot" - Crooked Goose is the place and I can't recommend it enough

My sweety and I's ferry got changed over so we decided to pop in on a time schedule and had to be out within the hour. Jewelley helped us out the first time we went in and the second. She was very kind and charismatic and had a very sweet energy to her both times. She was attentive and payed attention, she was fast and efficient and did it all with grace. We got in and out with so many smiles in a great time. Good food, good drinks, great people and the best quality service.

A nice place to go if you want a quieter atmosphere. The food was good as we're the drinks. The servers were accommodating to my gluten-free request and my Caesar cocktail specifications.

Amazing smoke house. Their in house BBQ sauce was was also very tasty. I had the baby back ribs and they were so good. I will definitely have them again. My wife enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and fries. She ate every bit of it. We went on a Sunday night and they had live music. Great musician. It was an excellent night. Well done Crooked Goose!!! Looking forward to the next visit.

While visiting Victoria , discovered this bistro on a recommendation. Well worth the drive from downtown. Just about 12 minutes drive. Went there for dinner and the food was very tasty, we decided to go for brunch the next day! We tried the Mushroom Pasta and I aded a snapper. The Pasta was delicious and perfect. Not mushy or sticky! My wife ordered a beef sandwich, which again was sumptuous and delicious. For dessert, the cheesecake, was delicious.
The next day we went for brunch. I ordered a chorizzo and chicken hash, which comes with eggs benny. Being a "foodie" I must say The Hollandaise sauce was one of the best I have tasted, and being able to prepare a good hollandaise sauce is proof of the good kitchen staff
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and paid a lot of attention to the good service. I highly recommend this Bistro and will visit again.

Pretty good spot, very delicious soup, roast beef sandwich, pizza, and tater tots (those were an instant hit).

We tried brunch today. The place was roomy - lots of space. The service was friendly and responsive. Enjoyed the Steve Smith benny that was topped with avocado and tomato on cornbread. I was surprised they added corn kernels into the benny meal. We also tried their homemade jam with toast.

This is a cozy Restaurant that has a good menu and is reasonably priced. It was very busy when we visited and the staff were friendly and prompt. It took a while to get our food (25 mins) but we knew that when we ordered.
The food was good. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was tasty. The side of poutine wasn't great, but it was serviceable.
I would go back again, maybe for their Trivia Night as it looked those folks were having a great time.

Went on a Monday at lunch and got to enjoy an entire booth to myself. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menus. Wasn't too hungry and ended up having a flatbread with goat cheese, dates and balsamic glaze. It was delicious. The place had a pleasant and warm atmosphere.

Went here with a group of 20 and called last minute. The staff were awesome and I felt they did a great job dealing with our large group! The food was great, and they also have a liquor licence which is a huge bonus!

This place is amazing!!! I phoned up to book a table for 6-8 (as I didnāt have confirmed numbers) and also to see what options they had for an awkward vegan!
Iād been to the Crooked Goose before and knew they had a mushroom burger on the menu that could be āveganisedā and a jambalaya on their evening menu. I donāt like mushrooms and Iād had the jambalaya last time I visited- it was delicious but too spicy for me to share with my one year old.
When I called I spoke to the chef directly and he couldnāt have been any more accommodating. He said he would think about what he could make me and have a couple of options for me when we arrived the following day!
True to his word Jamie, the chef, had two vegan options for me to choose from the next day. I enjoyed a delicious stuffed pepper with fries that I know the chef had gone to a lot of effort to prepare for me.
The servers here also deserve a shout out. The two times I have visited (both times with a large group) we have received exceptional service. Our drinks were never empty and nothing was too much trouble for our server. Honestly I couldnāt rate this place any higher. A really really good experience all round. Thank you!

I live super close to the Goose and I love it. The food is great and the staff are amazing. Fast service and amazingly friendly. Happy hour is the best and the rotating beer taps are top knotch. My new favorite place. A must try for anyone in Victoria!!!

I use to drive all the way to Heron Rock Bistro for eggs benny's and caesars. Imagine my luck to find out this gem was right around the corner! And the poor little piggy? Pork on pork on pork... i die happily in a food coma. even the new browns at uptown can touch this places food.

Love the food, love the staff and the service (bartender is awesome) and most importantly loved watching and winning $20 from Gina as Tom Brady and the Patriots erased a 28-3 deficit to come back and beat the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl. I will definitely be coming back and will look to earn some more money from Gina as Tom and the Patriots are returning to the Super Bowl in two weeks!!

I have been going to the CGB since it opened. Love the bar service from yummy Cesars to a great wine selection. Food is top quality, the kitchen is always in top form. Great value for your dining dollar, Comfortable ambiance, intimate or sit at the bar and make a new friend. Order the house special Mushroom soup and house made bun. It will be the best you have ever eaten. Watch the game or relax by the fire....see you there!

Food is mediocre and the menu is a bit boring. We were served stale bread with the charcuterie and a soggy bun with the burger. Service was pretty good but the kitchen needs some inspiration. Won't return which is disappointing as it is the only restaurant near us.
