Yalla - Victoria - Photo album

The lamb shank was very tender. I think it was the best lamb in the town! It would be nice to have some vegetables with it like Shawarma dish though. Overall, everything was great. I recommend you to try it!
Edit.: tried the plate on my second visit. Very tasty, but I think I preferred the wrap. Still delicious, though. First trip: Why haven't I been here before now?! I do love Persian food, so my review is biased. But the pita chicken schwarma was very flavorful and a nice kick to it (curry and ot
I ordered the Maquli Pita (eggplant, halloumi and fries), it was perfectly spiced, hot and delicious. I couldn't believe how good it was the whole time I ate it. Top notch sandwich!
Absurdly tasty. The lamb schwarma wrap is a cacophony of many elements all individually seasoned and all making a taste symphony. Friendly service and a lovely, if understated, vibe.
Yalla is a step above the rest!! The hot sauce they put on the lamb was excellent, the food was super fresh and it was a fair price. Service was great. 10/10 would return here again. They also recently started offering a bean meat stew which was super tasty
The lamb shank and wrap were excellent. Portions are large. Service was quick with friendly staff. Fully halal.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Middle Eastern/Persian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the hospitality. The maquli bowl, which I ordered, was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied but not
I go to Victoria often for business and always eat at the usual spots. Today a cab driver recommended this place. I usually never write reviews, but for this place I had to. What an amazing experience! It’s a family owned business and you feel like you’re at someone’s home. They are friendly and we
Such lovely and delicious cuisines and friendly atmosphere. I really loved my experience there, and definitely will be back next time I will come to Victoria
Went for dinner tonight. Haven't been in about 5 yrs or more as I'm rarely downtown. Wow. So good! Had the Maquli bowl with lamb... Unreal how good this was. Good portions for a very reasonable price. Service was great. I was so impressed. I will be back very soon.
It was my first time in an Iranian restaurant in Victoria. I ordered Baqali polo with Mahiche, it was so delicious. And also the employees were so nice and kind. Good atmosphere. Recommend.
Had the persian shawarma bowl, was outstanding, and the portions were insane, basically got three meals out of it. The folks working there are great too, and made sure to let me know which dishes were celiac-safe. Will definitely be coming back.
Over the past few of years I’ve walked pass by this place couple of times, finally today my friend and I finally paid a visit. We came in at the tail end of lunch time and there are still people ahead of us waiting to pick up their orders. From this phenomenon I can tell that over the years the loca
Stopped by for some lunch and the staff were absolutely lovely. Wonderful customer service. The inside is clean and they have free ice water. Would highly recommend for a delicious meal.
Wowwww Was super delicious!! Also super nice staff! Just look at the pictures as sides! All homemade, healthy and yummy! The best felafel that I’ve had in BC! Even the lamb shaverma was very tasty. Don’t miss it if you go to Victoria!
An awesome place to come and eat. I shared the brussel sprout hummus with my partner, and he got a shawarma plate. That was hands down the best hummus i've ever had- and not to mention the pickled veggies were absolutely amazing! I will definitely be coming back for more of that perfect shawarma and
Pretty decent falafel wrap. There aren't too many places in Victoria that I've encountered that do them, so it was fortuitous stumbling upon Yalla. I will say that I thought the price was a bit high. I ordered a large which wasn't sizeable by any means and it was $15.50 before tax and tip. I rem
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and it was very worth it! Wish I hadn’t waited so long! I had the chicken Shawarma wrap and a halloumi salad. Both we delicious and full of delicious flavours. The portions were very generous as I could only eat half of each. The people working there w
Can't go wrong with lamb AND halloumi in a wrap. So much flavour, by far the best Middle Eastern food in Vic.
