The French Oven Bakery - Victoria - Photo album

Few weeks ago my friend and I visited Victoria. In the evening our sweet tooth was torturing us. So we went to “The French Oven Bakery” in the Victoria Public Market. Although the selection was not so large anymore (it was shortly before closing time) we could buy some items. The price was ok and th
Very delicious little bakery, with incredibly friendly staff. The bread is fantastic, and especially the breakfast croissants. I would highly recommend this little spot, located in the Public Market.
This Bakery could be considered a hidden gem do to it's less visible location at the back of the Hudson. I highly recommend seeking it out while you're in the area as the breads and pastries here are fantastic. Personal favourites include the garlic stuffed baguettes, brioches, and their buns. Price
Love the excellent treats and breads from here! Everything I have tried is delicious! The frozen chocolate croissants come with detailed instructions to make the best fresh-baked pain au chocolat right at home. Warm from the oven heaven. The staff are all lovely as well. When I'm in this part of dow
I love this Bakery!! I am slowly making my way through everything they sell and I have not had a bad experience yet! My go to favourite treat is the Monkey Bread! A cross between a croissant and a cinnamon bun these are so flaky and mouth wateringly delicious! Or the almond croissants... hard to
Love the market offerings at the Sidney and Saanich Fair. I recommend the chocolate almond croissant and the French loaf. Pleasant service, fresh tasty and well made products - this bakery has it all and it shows up consistently . They are the main reason I attend these markets.
Hands down best bakery in Victoria! We've tried so many others and nothing can compare to the French Oven's stuffed garlic loaves....seriously amazing. Also, the raspberry turnovers are a slice of heaven.
This bakery has a wide range of goods that aren't just confined to French classics such as various flavours of croissants, pains au chocolat, choux pastries and heaps of meringue. Among this wide assortment, however, there was one, no two things that were just calling out to me: poppy seed buns. My
I love that everything is baked fresh the night before and the bacon and cheddar croissant is a nice treat in the morning! They also have fabulous staff that create a friendly and fun bakery experience.
Good coffee. Solid choice of pastries. The people that work there are french speaking and deliver an authentic French taste on their products. The sitting area could be more charming.
I would say this is the best bakery in town. The pastries are unbelievable and the bread selection has something for everyone. My recommendation, the chocolate raspberry turnover. Literally life changing.
Friendly staff eager to help and chat when engaged in conversation. Wide selection of pastries and baked goods. I had the poppy seed danish and a lattè. Delicious.
This place is dangerous. So so good. Would be a 5 star, but i don't love their coffee and they don't have sugar sub.
I got two pastries and they were delicious, coming back here again our last day here because I'm craving the berry croissant I had.
Nice spot to stop and grab a baked good while out and about at the market. We enjoyed our cookie.
By far the best bakery in Victoria, finally found a place that knows how to make a great baguette!
By far my favourite bakery in town. I love sourdough and Croissant square. Thank you guys!
