A new favourite! Our first time here and we were very impressed! Very clean with a high end yet casual atmosphere. Above average customer service! Very attentive without being overbearing. Amy was our server today and she was perfect! Delicious meal with what you can tell are high quality ingredients. Generous portions. Reasonable prices! Complimentary polenta bites were a lovely surprise and so delicious! Fast service; food arrived quickly and piping hot! Braised beef capanelle is definitely my recommendation!! I sampled my mother's spaghetti and meatballs, and the tomatoe sauce was delicious as well. Convenient location with ample free parking. Fully ♿️ accessible. We will definitely be back!

Great service and great cocktails! We were on the Patio with the dog (we later went outside the restaurant because there were a lot of wasps under my wooden terrace and it was cooler). The waitress was super nice, Happy Hours start at 2 p.m.! We had the pleasant surprise of having a free snack during our aperitif (polenta). I was the first time for me at Victoria!!! My son had taken spaghetti carbonara, accustomed to Italian pasta dishes, he found that these lacked sauce. I took the Moroccan pasta, I found it very good! It is a quality restaurant which has a choice of pasta and cocktails. I find it a little expensive for pasta in this quantity, but that's the price charged and it's on Victoria so... I recommend and will definitely come back to taste another dish one of these 4 🍝🇮🇹

Ravioli and brie were amazing. Our server was super friendly and great. Only complaint is that we waited an extremely long time for our food but when it came it was very hot. They served complimentary polenta bites right after we sat down which was appreciated as we were so hungry.

Ordered both of the featured pastas, spaghetti & wagyu meatballs and beef carpaccio during lunchtime. The beef carpaccio was by far our favourite dish, highly recommend it! Unfortunately, we found the spaghetti pasta to be a little too thick and overdone. The shrimp ravioli (one of the monthly features) flavour was delicious, but there was hardly any filling in the raviolis which was disappointing especially for its price. The staff were friendly and attentive, and a nice bonus was the restaurant providing us with complementary polenta bites before our meal! Overall, we were satisfied with our experience here and would recommend the appetizers over the pastas.

The pasta is always cooked really well, and the food tastes delicious! Service is a little slow, but otherwise a great dining experience

First time trying this spot and we are glad we did! Amazing food amazing service amazing drinks and overall a very worthwhile dining experience. We'll be recommending this place to all of our friends and visitors that come to Victoria. The location is nice too not having to deal with downtown parking. I got the pesto seafood tagliatelle and it was 🤌 The portion sizes are also very good!

Great find for amazing pasta in Victoria! I am so so glad that I decided to pop in here one evening. The range and quality of the pasta dishes is excellent - the bacon and mushroom ravioli was just outstanding. Add to that a great selection of cocktails and the BEST brownies I think I've ever had, and Lot 1 Pasta Bar is an easy recommendation to make. The venue is clean, tidy and appealing, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Thank you to all of the staff for a lovely evening and excellent food!

We went here very famished and it didn’t disappoint! Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We had some complimentary snack and had my toddler’s spaghetti custom made! We left feeling full, satisfied and happy. Servings were huge and good for sharing. Good food and great service, highly recommended!

First time eating here, and Lot 1 went above and beyond our expectations. The gentleman who was our server provided the best service I have seen in years. Very personable, attentive, and efficient at his job. Late night prices are reasonable and the cocktails are very good and the food as well. Will be recommending this place to our friends.

Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly and we got there at the beginning of happy hour so it was slow but when we left it got very busy. The food took a little longer as with the bill but the quality of service and food made up for it. The pasta was the best pasta I've ever had hands down. They make it daily, I had to eat it slow to savor every bite. We are visiting from Ontario and if you are in the area and want amazing quality food at good price, visit here during happy hour ( based on the time change it was dinner time for us anyway 😂).

I had to bring my dog to Victoria for radiation treatments for 3 days in a row, and Lot 1 Pasta Bar was only a couple minutes walk from the vet hospital. I came here 3 times and after the first time, my server, Aimee, always asked how our dog was doing. She was kind, compassionate, and her service was impeccable. The food was exceptional: the pasta always perfectly al denté and delicious! I only wish there was one in Nanaimo!

A very nice meal at Lot 1. We started with a bottle of red wine and their Lot 1 Roasted Garlic Herb Bread ( March feature ) It wasn't what we were expecting as it's very similar to a deflated focaccia but it was tasty. For main, I ordered the Moroccan Chicken Rigatoni minus the red peppers, added extra cashews. Very flavorful, great portion size and a little bit of an unexpected heat. Finished the night off with the white chocolate cheesecake minus the raspberry sauce, maybe a little to much caramel. An excellent desert paired with a glass of red wine. Overall a great meal. Server was great, very tentative. Will be back.

Really tasty and well portioned food. The complimentary fried polenta starter was great for us to have a taste and that enabled us to ordered the pork belly appetizer to share along with the salad. The pasta was al dente and very flavorful without being overly heavy. The kids portion was generous as well! The premises were very clean and modern with full dividers between booths to have easier conversations. Staff were friendly and attentive as well. This is a great option in Victoria.

Outstanding appetizers and pasta dishes full of flavour, huge portions and seasoned to perfection. Along with a great bar, lovely ambiance and a good wine list, a perfect place for lunch or dinner. Service was excellent. Easy parking, and great prices. Not much more you can ask for from your local pasta bar.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It will never be confused with the upscale Italian places in town (Il Covo, Il Terrazzo, Zambris etc.) but it doesn't try to be like them either, including the price point. It's straight up great pasta. Menu is not extensive; sticking to what it does well, and it succeeds. We attended Dine Around Victoria here and had a great meal. Service was great except for the gap between arrival and ordering, which was 20 minutes (hence -1 stars). Likely an issue with staffing. Once we ordered, the food came at a reasonable pace. I had the Beef Carpaccio appetizer, the Braised Beef Campanelle pasta, and the Tiramisu for dessert. All were excellent and plentiful. All at our table enjoyed our meals. We also were here for Happy Hour so I enjoyed a great Caesar as well.

Surprising find, this place beat all of our expectations. Great food, drinks and service, all in a nice and warm interior (they also have exterior seating). Kid menu is available. Of all the dishes, braised beef was fantastic. The Korean inspired pasta special with gochujang was a good attempt, but it certainly was spicy! Polenta bites as a free appetizers was greatly appreciated. It's worth coming back.
