If I could recommend one thing off of the menu here, it's the fish pakoras. That said, I've never been disappointed with anything I've ever ordered from this local, family-run restaurant. Victoria insider tip; the lunch buffet is a quick and delicious way to tick the business meeting box no matter where you find yourself in the city, (dowtown, uptown, west shore). Get in here and eat the things!
perfection!, the staff were all smiles all through my visit, lovely, and my meal was exquisite! i forgot to take home the rest i couldn't finish. my 3rd time here and this was amazing. i had the curry spinach dish with chicken!
This is probably the best Indian food i have ever had. I recommend the herbacious paneer pakora as well as the rosemary naan.
Another hidden gem in Langford. The food is not the cheapest on the Westshore, however the portions are very generous and so delicious, in comparison to the other Indian cuisine restaurant in Langford that we all know �. Lovely staff and great decor. Considering they just opened on November 2nd, I'm impressed and will continue to enjoy this place now, in the near and distant future!
The Veggie Pakoras are exceptional; my favourite item to share with any company. The service/staff held themselves to an extraordinary standard. Very knowledgeable staff who showed the customer to be their highest priority. Highly recommend for people looking for a modern environment and authentic Indian cuisine.
After a busy day of appointments about Westshore my wife suggested stopping at Sizzling Tandoor for a bowl of Mulligatawny Soup, which we have enjoyed previously. Quickly finding a table, Jocelyn introduced herself, and offered to sort beverages. We decided to share an order of Mulligatawny and Sizzling Tandoor Chicken Wings, along with Vegetable Samosas. Jocelyn assured us that splitting the soup was easily accomplished and asked if she might make a recommendation. Perfect. When your server is interested in providing this extra bit of service things become that little bit brighter. As we had ordered Samosa, Jocelyn thought we might like to try the Samosa Chaat (check the menu for details). The food arrived in a timely manner- all nicely presented, the soup served in individual bowls rather than as a main and side dish- nice touch! Everything was hot, tasty, and completely enjoyable. We will look forward to our next visit- thanks again to Jocelyn for her kind help this afternoon!

I had a wonderful dining experience at the Indian restaurant located in downtown. The convenience of its extended operating hours, open until 11 pm, was a welcome surprise. Arriving late in the evening, I was pleased to find that parking was hassle-free, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Nice ambiance and good food. Their fish was good and so was chicken malai tikka. Their lamb rogan josh was my favourite dish so far for which i will definitely go back. Their staff is very polite and humble. They take care of all your needs and make sure food comes as per your needs. Specially our host nasra or nhasra, the curly hair girl, she was so polite and humble and so soft spoken, she ensured our food comes as per our needs. 5 star for that host.

Sizzling Tandoor is the heart of Victoria. We first visited a year ago on our first time here. We were so happy to taste the warm flavours of their delicious food but the owners and staffs energy kept us on the hook. We found ourselves joining them for a snack or a drink on every night we were there.
It’s a family owned business and we have had the pleasure of meeting their family at this point. Kirn, the person running the downtown location, is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. Her ideas are endless and it’s very clear that she cares about getting the customer experience right. I don’t even really tell her what I want any more, she just figured it out.
Our go-to is the cashew korma (with chicken, but they do any protein or veggie if you wish), with a rosemary or garlic naan. It really hits the spot. Another standout if their delicious tandoori fish. It’s very soft and flavourful and totally hits the spot with the green chutney. While we’ve tried a few things here, the menu is pretty expansive and they have a butter chicken poutine as well. Waste no more time and plan your next dining experience at Sizzling Tandoor.
Also shoutout to Adikh, Fernando and the lovely lady at the front whose name escapes me at the moment. These people consistently delivered friendly, welcoming and warm energy that fits so well with what we have come to expect from this place.

I just loved the food over there specially the aloo palak and pakore both were so delicious, must try. Music and food service was also best the girl was really nice. Thanku for that amazing experience.

We were there on Christmas Eve and found the service and the food to both be impeccable! Despite the fact that the restaurant was very full, the servers were attentive and lovely to interact with. Sizzling Tandoor’s never disappoints and they will be my go to Indian restaurant in Victoria forever! Five stars
We love the uptown location but while it’s under renovations we decided to have a family holiday meal at their downtown spot.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic.
We are happy we came and can’t wait to go back
Didn’t take a lot of pictures but the food was very much on point. Absolutely amazing Tandoori fish sizzler, curries, cocktails and that dal tarka was just too good! 🤌🏽
Also, special mention for the hostess/server who was very accommodating with all our requests, kind, friendly and also suggested few good spots to check out in Victoria!

I had an incredible dining experience at Sizzling Tandoor! The food was absolutely amazing, and I can't give it anything less than 5 stars. We had our office holiday party there last Friday and it was wonderful! Would highly recommend. The venue is great for a party, the food and drinks were delicious and organizing the event was easy. Thank you Sizzling Tandoor for a great event!
We wanted to have something simple Indian food. We ordered Chana bhature and it was simply delicious. Taste was awesome. Service was good. Music was too loud to enjoy conversation. Tables has some sticky wax and was difficult to put hands on the table. But 4 stars for food taste and service
This was the only place that was open and not busy on Family Day and I'm glad we chanced upon it. This place was wonderful and the food was delicious! I got the chicken tikka curry and my husband got the kharri curry. It was perfect for a cold February day. We will be back again.
Amazing food and service. We were visiting from Toronto and craving some Indian food so went to the Sizzling Tandoor Downtown. We know Indian food and this was right on the money. High quality ingredients and prepared with attention. We tried the butter chicken which was incredible with the tandoori naan. We also got the Chana masala and the chicken biryani. I would highly recommend this place. The manager of this location is a nice fellow and took really good care of us.
Tasty food and wonderful service. My son, who’s a picky eater, said that If there are more than 5 stars then he would give that to this place! We ordered coconut curry, Mango curry and butter chicken. All three of them are yummy and the latter is the best!
We had a fantastic dinner. The food was amazing — my husband said it was the best Indian he’s ever had! Kirn and her staff were friendly, engaging, attentive and helpful. We just wish we lived closer but we’ll be back whenever we’re in Victoria!
