Sizzling Tandoor is the heart of Victoria. We first visited a year ago on our first time here. We were so happy to taste the warm flavours of their delicious food but the owners and staffs energy kept us on the hook. We found ourselves joining them for a snack or a drink on every night we were there

I just loved the food over there specially the aloo palak and pakore both were so delicious, must try. Music and food service was also best the girl was really nice. Thanku for that amazing experience.

We were there on Christmas Eve and found the service and the food to both be impeccable! Despite the fact that the restaurant was very full, the servers were attentive and lovely to interact with. Sizzling Tandoor’s never disappoints and they will be my go to Indian restaurant in Victoria forever! F
We love the uptown location but while it’s under renovations we decided to have a family holiday meal at their downtown spot.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic.
We are happy we came and can’t wait to go back

We had our office holiday party there last Friday and it was wonderful! Would highly recommend. The venue is great for a party, the food and drinks were delicious and organizing the event was easy. Thank you Sizzling Tandoor for a great event!
We wanted to have something simple Indian food. We ordered Chana bhature and it was simply delicious. Taste was awesome. Service was good. Music was too loud to enjoy conversation. Tables has some sticky wax and was difficult to put hands on the table. But 4 stars for food taste and service
This was the only place that was open and not busy on Family Day and I'm glad we chanced upon it. This place was wonderful and the food was delicious! I got the chicken tikka curry and my husband got the kharri curry. It was perfect for a cold February day. We will be back again.
Amazing food and service. We were visiting from Toronto and craving some Indian food so went to the Sizzling Tandoor Downtown. We know Indian food and this was right on the money. Tasty food and wonderful service. My son, who’s a picky eater, said that If there are more than 5 stars then he would give that to this place! We ordered coconut curry, Mango curry and butter chicken. All three of them are yummy and the latter is the best!
We had a fantastic dinner. The food was amazing — my husband said it was the best Indian he’s ever had! Kirn and her staff were friendly, engaging, attentive and helpful. We just wish we lived closer but we’ll be back whenever we’re in Victoria!
