This quaint little breakfast place is the cutest! I loved the decor and the old-timey atmosphere! The food was massive portions for the price, and everything was dont so well, you can taste the love they used to cook your food! The service was friendly and personable. Everyone looked happy to be there!
Their mimosa was really good as a side point, they used pulpy orange juice for mine and I was overjoyed!!
I really hope you think about eating here next time you're in the neighborhood, some of the best food I've had across Canada!

We had Sunday brunch. It was very busy but they did their best in getting us seated and served as quick as possible. Food was delicious! We had the lemon berry French toast and full breakfast. The Scottish scones were delicious too!

Very popular and busy coffee shop and restaurant. Staff constantly on the move except when they stop and cheerfully and patiently take an order or bring your coffee/meal.
Generous portions and obviously satisfied customers as most of the diners appeared to be repeat customers.
Shine is tucked away in a commercial/residential structure and not immediately obvious to those driving by. I would suggest, especially if you are looking for hearty breakfast, taking the time to find this gem. Don't be surprised if a bit of a wait it required.

I had the November specials, pear crepes and additional eggs and bacon on the side. Taste wise was okay, didn't quite hit it right. But excellent service, virtually no wait times. For those who have Telus as mobile provider, this place didn't have the greatest coverage. So it could be quite boring if you're flying solo like i did.

Best Benedict eggs I have ever had. They have different hollandaise sauce which makes them more interesting to try. I ordered the clubhouse and I loved it. The boy serves very well but the girl needs to be more friendly. I give them 5 stars because the flavour is extremely good.

All the details coalesce to create a memorable breakfast - welcoming and attentive staff, varied menu with interesting ideas and classics that are well executed, and a friendly neighborhood vibe.
They have several varieties of bennies - nicely done. And if, like me, you prefer your French Toast more saturated to create a slightly more pastry like toast... You'll like Shine's.

amazing servers and lovely atmosphere - got a chai latte which was delicious and the southern belle eggs benedict with scottish potato scone. I wasn't the biggest fan of the eggs benedict but it was just not the flavour combo for me! would have loved another type for sure

The short wait time is well worth it. Service was efficient, fast and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and served hot! We will definitely be back on our next trip.

Casual, cozy cafe with traditional brunch fare. Family friendly with a kids menu. Love that they had several vegan options. Very friendly staff! We waited for about 10-15 minutes for a table for 4 on a weekday around 1pm.

Very delicious brunch. I had the 2-2-2 with eggs, bacon, and french toast. The bacon was crispy and the french toast was delicious. My friend had the vegan breakfast which had great options - one of the best vegan breakfasts they have had!

Yum.. the benedicts were delicious! We did a Canadian benedict with avacado instead of the bacon and garden city benedict . The staff was friendly and always asked about the water and coffee. We ordered medium poached but it came out super running but other than that it was great.
