Ottavio's is truly a little gem. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is so wonderful.
We arrived at 845 before main delivery opened, all staff were so helpful to us out of towers and made us a fabulous picnic for our day at sea. Thank you if you make it to Dublin hopefully you will have a similar experience at Thyme Out Gourmet Food to go in Dalkey

Ottavio's salumi and cheese is to die for, and the customer service is unparalleled. Amazing!
Good selection of Italian deli products and an on-site bakery make this a decent stop when in Oak Bay.
Ottavio also has a small but sunny patio in front of the shop.

Amazing, my second trip to the island and I had to return, a lovely location, best coffee I’ve ever had in BC, and the pastries are divine for an afternoon chat with a friend! Great friendly service too from the staff, clean and tidy inside eating area with more food to pick from. Toilets were exceptionally clean also! Really wished I lived on the island!
This is a very nice place, there’s a friendly vibe, great coffee and treats and food. They forgot to put in some public wifi, which is a bit of a pain. Overall really nice place and I enjoy going going there and recommend it. :)
Their sandwiches are pretty good! The soup was interesting too! Tried some of their pastries and one chocolate pastry and apricot leaf was really good! The mocha tart didn’t have much coffee taste, but it was good. Gonna try more of their stuff in the future!
One of my go-to places for lunch or to grab a morning brioche bun when I’m in Victoria.
Best chai latte I’ve ever had and I love the Primavera panini.

This place was quaint, spacious, and served a great cappuccino and a delicious Florentine dessert akin to almost a citrus-like almond roca. I highly recommend stopping by for a to-stay beverage as their staff are abundant, pleasant, and ready to serve. They ask that you just leave your dishes on the tables as there is no customer access point for dirty dishes!
An excellent place to pick up something delicious to eat on the go. Also, a great selection of European savouries and treats to share with others.
Great location and beautiful patio seating area. Ordering food is a little difficult cause the staff seem to have trouble with the ordering computers, so expect to wait to place an order and then wait again to get your order. The gelato is very good, the baked goods are just okay and are expensive.
What a great find! Not only did they have delicious caffeinated beverages and treats, but an amazing selection of cheese, deli meats, fresh baked breads and savoury accompaniments! We got some wonderful cheese from Quebec for fondue, and are excited to try the wild boar sliced meat!
Staff are very friendly! It can get busy, so be patient, it is worth the wait!
Really 4 1/2 stars. One of the few places to find ricotta salatta in Victoria. Always leave with a few things I hadn’t intended to buy 🤣. Their breads are fantastic (go early) and all the varieties of olives, meats, cheese and specialty goodies to make your charcuterie platter sing! Service can be a bit chaotic, but Ottavio’s ever changing menu means there’s always something new to try and something for everyone! A great outdoor patio in warmer weather.
Beautiful bakery and cafe. It's space and location gives a positively quaint vibe, perhaps a bit like Mediterranean feel with that water fountain outside. Baked items tasted delicious and coffee tasted fresh. Great atmosphere overall for some relaxed conversations with friends, family, or new connections.
I wish we had an Ottavio in the neighborhood where we live. This was a great find the last day of our holiday. If we had found it sooner we would gave stocked up on charcuterie items. Awesome selection of cheese and meats. We enjoyed a coffee and pain de chocolate
Very cool place full of Italian items straight from Italy.They even have an amazing deli and bakery that you can buy pasta, sauces and fresh breads. The latte, panini and fiorentine that I tried were just delicious!
Wow. Just wow. Came in for some items for a charcuterie board for a nice summer dinner. The gentleman who helped us was incredible (I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but you got a chef's knife for your 10th birthday). He made wonderful suggestions for both meats and cheeses and this was one of the best charcuteries I've ever had. So good! The selection of meats/cheeses was diverse but not overwhelming. Thank you Ottavio, we will definitely be back (especially as its across from the Oaks restaurant, which is one of our faves).
It's a bit of an escape to stop by Ottaviano's for a croissant and coffee, and 45 minutes on their perfect patio. I've yet to try their various other baked goods, sandwiches, deli offerings, or gelato, but you'll find them here if that's what you're after.
It had been years since I had visited Ottavio’s. The young man who assisted me in choosing some cheese was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience and I will return soon. Thank you !!
