Great tasting food and our go to date spot! Unfortunately it gave us horrible stomachaches the last time we went so I had to dock a star, but it was amazing everytime before that. I love the oven roasted chicken (they took it off the menu but still make it for me :))

Decided to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend at the keg and the experience was amazing. Everyone was so nice and the food was spot on. The bread that they gave us was so good, it pairs really well with the French Onion soup! My boyfriend and I both got the Keg Classics and the portions were really filling. We did over ordered because we were quite hungry but we left with two takeout boxes with some of our food. Despite being really full they offered us complementary dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary! Our server was super kind and packed it up for us to eat later! For someone who has never been to The Keg before I’d definitely recommend the twice baked potatoes and escargots! The steaks are really good too, especially the prime rib! I would definitely come back again for a special occasion because everyone was really nice :)

We came here for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! The baked bree appetizer with pesto and red jelly was great. My pepper encrusted new york strip was cooked perfectly and the whiskey peppercorn sauce just completed the dish. My grandmother ordered her steak wrong and was disappointed by how tough her medium-well was. However, our server Lucas didn't want her to be unhappy with it so he kindly insisted they remake the steak and the replacement was fantastic! I will definitely be back when I come visit Victoria in the future.

My parents came here a month ago and loved it hence they brought me here to celebrate new year early. We made reservation via OpenTable and were led to our table shortly after arrival.
The restaurant is in a nice location. I’ve been to a few Keg establishments before and this one has the same consistent decoration throughout. We asked for a window table and they were able to accommodate.
Our server’s name was Heather and she was great, very attentive and always on top of things such as making sure our glasses were full.
We ordered Escargot as appetizer, top sirloin, filet mignon and peppercorn New York as our main course. We also had cheesecake and billy miner pie as dessert.
My parents loved it and that’s why they insisted to come here again shortly after their previous visit. My peppercorn New York steak was a little over, I asked medium but I think it was closer to well done, though it is not a big deal for me.
Overall the food was great and we would definitively visit again.

I've never been to The Keg before and I gotta say it was the most amazing experience, The complimentary bread and butter mixture was phenomenal! And the mushroom neptune was amazing 😍 and I'm not a mushroom fan but I definitely recommend it. The service was awesome and it was a very friendly environment, perfect for a date night. A bit pricey but definitely worth it

The Keg is frankly the best steakhouse one can go to for reliably great steak. I have been to Kegs at least dozen times over the last 10 years and I have never been disappointed. Steak is cooked to perfection, sides are yummy, choice of potato, and even a delicious wedge salad. Service has always been tiptop, and the price is right... Not too pricey, just right for a special night out.

You get what you get at the Keg. Staff are nice but the food is mediocre at best. There were 5 adults and they tried to pack us into a small booth with a chair on the end. They did not recognize it was not going to work. We actually had to tell them to move us. Do better and pay attention. Our server was nice and attentive.

The food was really really delicious and the atmosphere was decent.
The staff are friendly and we were able to get a reservation on a Sunday which we found nowhere else in Victoria you could do so we really appreciated that.
There was a huge problem with my steak and lobster dinner but the manager went above and beyond to fix the issue.
The wine was really great as well.
I would definitely go back to The Keg and try again for another nice experience.

The lobster appe was delish.
We ordered the prime ribs. It's really tender and juicy, perfectly pink. The amount of seasoning on the fat cap was well balanced. As the side, the mushroom rice was on the dry side. The good thing was there was enough au jus for the beef and the rice.
I also ordered the old fashioned. It was a bit too sweet. But still very good mix.
The gentleman who served our table was very friendly and accommodating.
We sat on the second floor by the window, where we could look down on the harbor. Super stunning sunset view. Great location for a romantic sunset dinner.
