We came in on New Years evening (Jan. 1) and were greeted by a friendly hostess and served by a friendly waitress. When seated by the window I told her we couldn't have reserved a better table. While eating our meals we were asked how everything was and I told her that my wife found her chicken to be a bit too salty. The waitress went to the kitchen and talked to the staff and came back and had a discussion with us about it. After we were finished our meal and were presented with our bill we were impressed that a discount had been given us for our challenge with the amount of seasoning on the meat. I then went up to the washroom and on my way back to the table bumped into the owner, who I have come to know and appreciate from numerous previous visits, and he apologized for our experience. I told him that they had taken care of us well and the waitress had been very gracious about it. This is why we make this Moxie's one of our favorite places to dine in Victoria. My wife may not order the same dish again but there is a tremendous array of great options and we have never gone away disappointed. Keep up the great work Team Moxies!

Wow! I have been to Moxie's three times in the last 6 weeks and every single time the service was absolutely faultless! Every single server we encountered was extremely friendly and attentive and seemed genuinely happy with their jobs! We have two small children and finding a suitable dining venue is often a challenge to say the least. Moxie's is not only suitable for small children, they don't make you feel like a second class citizen! Each waitress we had was superb in dealing with the children - meals were ordered and delivered promptly, all drinks arrived promptly and the colouring pages and crayons kept the children entertained. The Fish tank was also a huge drawcard as was the special children's dry ice desert! Aside from being an excellent restaurant for children, I would not hesitate to return for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends as the menu selection was extensive. Thank you Moxie's - you are obviously a well run and professional establishment who cares for its staff and clients and it shows!
I went out to dinner with a good friend. We did not have a reservation but we're seated immediately. We had a nice view of the street close to the kitchen which is visible to the customers. What a cool concept! The door was delicious. I had the beef Vandelo and my friend had chicken/ribs. We each had a drink . Our waiter was professional and kind. We had a nice night out. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I meet.Thank you to Lindsey and his staff, excellent customer service and food , Good value for what one pays.
With my background in Hotel and Hospitality Management, specially in Food & Beverage department, I must say, This place is spectacular and consistent with fresh and top quality ingredients. With respectful and courteous service. Thanks to the management of this fine establishment and their wonderful achievement. Simply perfect.

In all my years experience I've never worked at a restaurant where I've felt more like family and our guests close personal friends. While there was a minor issue with finding a hair in my sister’s drink, they promptly replaced it, demonstrating thoughtfulness. However, they didn’t remove it from the bill as a gesture.
Overall, the ambiance and service were good.
If you’re visiting Victoria, it’s worth a try, but be cautious about the hair incident.😉
Our food was delicious and wait staff was very attentive. I loved that the guacamole came with not just tortilla chips, but also my favorite type of Terra chip.
After a very successful first experience in this restaurant for dinner, I reiterated my experience with a delicious cocktail (passion fruit mai tai) which, moreover, was really cheaper and better than elsewhere! I really recommend this place, the interior is pretty and comfortable, the outdoor patio accepts dogs but it is also really pleasant since it is half sunny, half shaded and also has a sofa and trendy music! 😎😍
Went for a date night with my boyfriend and we got the server sig and he was AMAZING if you have him as your server you will be leaving happy, great food and fantastic service from sig!!! And the wings and shrimp tacos were SO GOOD
Ordered off a deliver app and the ribs I got were a bit dry. I called moxies and asked if anything could be done. They gave me a few options and remade my meal. It’s delicious and the ribs are perfect!
They went above and beyond with their customer service and even added a brownie bite I was not expecting.

The food and service was absolutely amazing! Wait staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, we had the roasted tomatoes and feta cheese appetizer with sirloin steak as the main. The app was so tasty and juicy I wanted to order more to take home. The steak was cooled perfectly and buttery masked potatoes were delicious. Loved the atmosphere inside, and the fish tank was a nice added bonus :)
The food is good, nothing extraordinary but it is good. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for the atmosphere and all the rest.
I found the service to be good as well, not great, lacking the personal touch and humour necessary to make it a five star, but solid.
The atmosphere is neat, dig the fountain and fish tank, and the open kitchen is cool too.

I had the most delicious Avocado bacon salad, but it was unusual, it was served on a half an iceberg lettuce. It took a lot of effort to eat. Less lettuce and a bowl would have been nice. It really was delicious.
Amazing! I'm absolutely impressed by this restaurant. The burger was fantastic, probably the best burger in Victoria! 😊 The ambience in the restaurant is really nice. And our waiter was extremely friendly. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. 👍💯

September 2/21 visit: happy hour Red Sangria $6 and Dry Ribs $10; ribs order quite large, took half home.
The Prawn Tagliatelle ($23.75) comes with a slice of garlic toast. The nicely presented entree was delicious, one of the best pasta dishes I've had. Especially like the capers in the sauce, and on the garlic toast it's like the best bruschetta ever.
Service was quick, the atmosphere lively (bit on the noisy side) and busy.
They are training new hosts and servers; servers Tony and Heather were great.

Good experience, nice atmosphere but little noisy. Busy on a Saturday evening.
Sirloin steak was done just right, lots of veggies - almost too much! The food was nicely seasoned and nicely presented.
Only issue - the steak knife was not very sharp.
Staff were professional, not overly friendly but made me feel welcome.
Reservations recommended for preferred seating of groups of three or more. Prices are comparable to similar dining options, e.g., Earl's, Cactus Club, Joey. Staff seem nicer, though.
Food is good and service was excellent. Very kid friendly place with a kids menu. A little pricy for what you get, but you're also paying for good service. We had 2 adult meals and 1 kids meal, along with 2 drinks - bill was $100 before tip.
Huge shout out to the owner Lindsey Wilson- such a kind, generous person who goes above and beyond to show love to his community. One of our go to spots for a night out, food is always fresh and delicious, staff is lovely, highly recommend.
Being a chain restaurant, I really didn't have high expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! Nice clean atmosphere, great wait staff, and surprisingly delicious food. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with truffle fries, and would definitely come back again for more. Is it the most unique restaurant I've ever been to? No. But the consistency of food and service would certainly bring me back again!
Consistent and delicious. If you have the time I recommend. Brea is a sweetheart. Ribs, Gyoza and calamari/shrimp tempura are always good appetizers. Salmon is always nicely cooked it Medium or medium well they cook it medium rare. Steak, mushrooms, mash, gravy and beef dip were all really nice options.
Dined with beautiful friends at Moxie’s on the 5th of July. The ambiance was so nice & cozy. The food was exceptionally delectable. I laud the awesome customer service of Tony S. I highly recommend Moxie’s.
