Finally - a not-so-salty restaurant for me as a typical Asian. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentive staff guided me to a comfortable table and took their time to explain the menu and make recommendations. We got recommended this place by our friendly tour guide. I love the ambiance and the view we got as we had a window seat. Sea food is fresh but all of out dishes were extremely salty for my taste. However, I guess it is the locals taste.

Came here for a birthday celebration dinner. We ordered a platter which was very good. Steak was cooked perfectly and seafood was very good too. We also ordered the calamari which was a great Appetizer. Service was friendly. Overall a good experience

Our last meal in Victoria was lunch at Nautical Nellies. We sat on their beautiful patio surrounded by flowers. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast, but it is the presentation that takes the show. The gourmet presentation that makes eating fun.

We had an excellent lunch here and ate all the lobster dishes! We tried the lobster quesadilla from the happy hour menu. I had the fish tacos from the happy hour menu. We also tried the lobster grilled cheese, lobster Mac and cheese, lobster roll and lobster bisque. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was great and we had a nice private booth for our larger group. They did a great job.

It was our first time here, and we’re definitely coming back! We were so impressed with the food quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, and the temperature of the food was perfect. The best part was the dessert - we highly recommend the choux!

Amazing service I think her name was Emily maybe . She was fantastic Food was unbelievable The lobster crab salad 15 🌟 And lobster dip 20 🌟 lol yes that good. We are from Vancouver and came to Victoria for the 2nd Xmas and this is our 3rd time at nautical Nellie's.. It will b on our list next year as well. OH AND THE CHERRY GARCIA 50 🌟 HOLY MOLY THE DESERT OF A LIFETIME. 😊 I wish I took a pic of that but I think it was gone by the time I could get my phone back out ..

Delicious! Took my boyfriend here for the first time and he absolutely loved it. We both got drinks which were good. We shared a calamari which was a little bit small for $20. My boyfriend has the steak and he likes it done rare and he was so happy with how it turned out. I had the fish and chips and the fish was so crispy and very good. I will add the fries are not good, they are very soggy. Will come back but I would love to see the fries change.

An incredible restaurant and definitely priceworthy! We had a nice place outside, in the shade and with a fresh breeze and our waiter was extraordinarily friendly and courteous. The dishes, the burger as well as the fish, tasted delicious, were nicely plated and a good size. The self-made drinks were very tasty as well. The experience overall was great in any case, the atmosphere was very harmonious, the dishes tasted superb and were worth their price.

We had the hot seafood platter with lobster. It was incredible. My husband said he could come back later in the day and have the same thing. The platter had shrimp, salmon, mussels, clams, scallops, lobster, potatoes, and zucchini. Fresh and cooked to perfection. If you are in town and are searching for fresh seafood, seach no further.

Hands down the best foo I've ever had. Lobster fest was amazing. I cannot wait for my next trip to Victoria just so I can wat here again!!!

Amazing service and overall experience. Price is reasonable for the quality you get. 10/10 for the share platter. We got mussels and clams to start and that was so so good too. Staff were very good.

Great clam chowder soup. Highly recommend it. Calamari is also nicely done.

We went to Nautical Nellies not once, but two weekends in a row for brunch. All the dishes were amazing, packed with large chunks of seafood and were really good portions, especially for sharing! My favourites are the lobster and crab salad (large enough for 2-3), the lobster and crab French toast, lobster roll, and last but not least, the brioche French toast! The French toast is so good it should be illegal, especially at only $10. As a Victoria local, I am always trying different restaurants in town and I have to say this place is one of the best. Don’t miss this place the next time you are in Victoria!

Food was excellent, while the setting is a bit dated and stuffy. It was humid that day and the place could use a fan for circulation. My crab and lobster salad was well made and perfectly dressed. The fries from the fish and chips were very good.

It was an amazing meal. We had the platter for two with extra king crab. So delish. Michelle was an awesome server...very attentive and even funny� Totally recommend a visit. I will definitely visit again.

We come here every year and are never disappointed. Alana our waitress was excellent, very friendly and helpful. We ordered the pad Thai and seafood fettuccine and both were fresh and tasty with loads of seafood. We shared a desert which was delicious �. They also have an excellent wine list. One of our favourite places to eat downtown Victoria.

We visited and asked several people where to find the best steak, N N's didn't disappoint! Their happy hour appetizer menu was so tempting, we tried several. Service was great and the menu was varied...and steak. Yummy, yummy steak!

Best meal in Victoria. Had the steamed Dungeness crab, escargot and the crab & cheddar sandwich. Not a crumb left in the plate. Highly recommend the Tropical Mimosa.

Was a wonderful experience. We asked for a table. There would be a 30 minute wait. We asked if we could wait in the bar. We had drinks & awesome coconut prawns. We were seated not long after we finished our addy. I had steak & king crab, my wife had steak & lobster. The meals tasted awesome. A 6 oz steak & 2 sections of crab leg isn’t much of a meal. More options would be better.

Whenever we are in Victoria, our go to place for dinner is Nautical Nellie's as the seafood is always fresh. Last night, we started off with raw oysters and it didn't disappoint but when it came to the entree our friend had to wait another 15 minutes (his order had to go back to the kitchen). He ordered halibut but when it came out, it was salmon...how can that be mixed up? The waitress and the manager were apologetic but a simple detail had been messed up.

We went for happy hour. We had raw oysters, calamari, bacon Caesar salad and fried oysters. And some drinks. Price was very reasonable and food was perfect. Service was attentive. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend.

Had the best meal tonight highly recommend going here but book so your not disappointed the magical chocolate orb pudding was delicious

We found this place quite unexpectedly as we wandered Victoria one day, and were so grateful we went in! The staff were terrific, and the food was not only absolutely delicious, but presented on the plates with true artistry! This was a dining experience, not just a dinner.

5:30 reservation. Didn’t get food till 6:30. Vegetables burnt beyond recognition which were replaced my another plate of inedible food. My chicken breast was supposed to be stuffed ????? My potatoes were over cooked. Never asked if we wanted anything after we complained about food. Ignored basically. Never go back!!!!

Would like to thank the staff working on Sunday, January 7, 2018...it was our 18th wedding anniversary and we love nautical nellies!! We were looking forward to the seafood platter but it was 2pm and still lunch... they still made it for us!!:) thank you sooooo much!! We are from north island...we will be back!!! Good service and the food was delish!! Thanks again!!

Spotted this as a highly recommended restaurant on an internet search. Was recommend to have the cedar plank honey mustard salmon. After the 1st few bite around the edges it looked undercooked, this was made right by offering me a chowder soup while I waited for a new plate.. second plate marginally better but was not able to finish because it was also undercooked.. made right again by comp'ing the meal. Good manager on that night and knew how to correct the situation!

really bad! their fatty lunch sandwich pulled rib had no flavor and mushrooms. No mention of mushrooms on their menu. I live close but I never have go back will be too soon!

Overall good food....above average flavours, but totally over-priced. Not worth the buck you pay. There are some spectacular restaurants in Victoria at literally half the price.

Tonight was the second time I have been to Nautical Nellies, and it was just as good as I remembered. The service is great, and the food is phenomenal! I highly recommend the crab cakes as an appetizer and the warm Missouri buttercake for dessert (it is my absolute favourite cake!). I will definitely be back when I am in Victoria next!

We both have allergies which our waitressand kitchen staff worked extra hard to accommodate us. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was a delight. THANK YOU so much for giving us the seafood experience we were looking for.
