Went to My Chosen Cafe and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great had about 30 min waiting before we got a table but they send a text to tell you your table is ready which was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.the food tasted great.

This is a very cool place. The food was sooooo good & the ice tea was delicious. Great atmosphere, cute designs & paintings. Great coffee & sweet shop. & There are farm animals out back that you can pet. Goats, donkey's & chickens. Plenty of seating everywhere. I would highly recommend stopping here & checking it out. We were too full to get any sweets but they all looked delicious!!

When I was reading over the menu, I probably read galic at least 20 times, and their food shows this. The flavor of the food is powerful and delicious. The waitresses that tended to me were attentive and easy to work with. The atmosphere is beautiful with nice dim lighting that puts you and your table in your own world. It was also quite clean, both the cutlery/dishes and tables.

Ordered Regular Breakfast menu, but it was just decent, nothing to write home about... We also ordered Whiskey BBQ Burger and it was also decent, didn't have much BBQ or whiskey taste. Toffee Latte is just normal too. We ordered cakes for takeaway, Chocolate cheesecake and red velvet. I have to say both were good! Much better than their main meal menu...
The other aspect is this place looks pretty. So, if you want to post Instagram or any social media pictures, you definitely gonna like this place.

One of my favourite places to go to eat! Reasonably priced, pleasant staff and good food! I also go for a drive and or walk after, cause the scenery around the area is beautiful!!

The food was delicious and full of flavour. Had we known servings were so big we would have shared.
I was recommending the cafe to friends and family before leaving the parking lot.
I would have given 5 stars but the service we received could have been better. Saw our waitress to take order and take payment. Didn’t refill water glasses or anything

Best clubhouse sandwich ever! I especially loved the creamy dill salad dressing. Portions are generous and the cozy, friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

Went there in a beautiful fall day, it was nice and cozy. The service was fast. Loved the food. We ordered a halibut burger which was perfect and a beef liver dish which was delicious and came in a huge portion. The backyard petting zoo is perfect for young families.

Great place to eat. Hugely popular. We had a 10 minutes wait for a table, which was ok really. Food was ok. Fries were a bit tepid. My partner's bun for her halibut burger was a bit soggy, and fell apart. Apart from that, all good. Good service. Great surroundings.

We came here while on vacation. We absolutely loved the care and attention put into creating wonderful classic dishes. There are many locally sourced ingredients and the atmosphere was fantastic. A special thank you to our server, Nancy, for her great sense of humour and making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be coming back anytime we are in the area.

Probably my top 3 places to eat not in BC or in Canada but in the whole planet... great food, friendly service with unequal atmosphere... if there was 10 stars I would give them 10 stars.... if they had Bison Burger in the menu, this place would be my favorite place in the planet.

Unfortunately the food is not at the same level as it once was. I can confidently say I have tried over 90% of the menu. My girlfriend and I would get food here pretty much once a week. We moved from Metchosin this past year and haven't been back since it was bought out and changed ownership. Recently it was a sub par experience to what we were accustomed to. Portion sizes are way smaller, ingredients are not the same in some dishes and it's quite obvious that corners are being cut to keep cost down. The vibes and staff were still good overall but definitely a bit of a let down food wise when you have been used to a menu for so long. I will say that we are very appreciative for all the great memories / meals in the past and wish the best to the previous owners in retirement.
