Shine Cafe - Victoria - Photo album

We decided to give Shine a try during the week, since the weekends are usually lined up (as with most brunch places). Got a table right away, although they filled up quickly. Service was excellent, quick to refill water and coffee and checked on how we liked our food. Not a fancy place, but clean
Love, love this restaurant. Every time I'm in Victoria, I always make a point to visit here. Today I got the Southern Belle Benny and as you can see by the picture it seems a little strange. Let me reassure you, this is one of the best bennies I have ever eaten. Omg all the ingredients got so well t
Had about a five minute wait at 1230pm on a Saturday. Very friendly service. Food was hot and tasty. Crispy jalapenos were delicious. Lots of empty tables at 115pm when leaving. Usually there is a lineup outside between 9am-12pm.
We heard great things about this place. My first time coming here, my hubby was here last 10 years ago. Cute breakfast place with delicious food. I had the chorizo hash with soup on the side. Great flavours, very filling and excellent service to match. Highly recommend it.
Huge portions! This place is friendly to vegetarians: there’s lots of veggie options on the menu, plus you can replace meat with avocado for non-veggie meals.
Great brunch spot in Victoria. Quality food with okay service. Fair price.
Great eggs benny and vegan options. Short wait but it was worth it. Found this spot thanks to google and it did not disappoint, the Cali Benny was amazing!
Definitely recommend checking out for their assortment of eggs benedict. I had the garden city eggs benny and enoyd it a lot! The basil pesto hollandaise sauce was delicious and the eggs were perfectly poached. Staff were friendly and quick taking orders, bring drinks and food.
We enjoyed it thoroughly. Vegan and non vegan alike. The service was quick and there servers were very nice. Highly recommend
Service was great and so was the food! We went for 10:00 and luckily there was no line. Because this place is so popular, sometimes there can be a bit of a wait. My wife got the Nemo Benny with hash browns. Both were tasty. Another friend of ours got the apple cinnamon pancakes, which was perfect
Best Benny eggs ever. Although kitchen works slowly, no matter how full restaurant is. Waiting time after order is about 30+ minutes.
I loved the overall ambience of this place.. it is a nice little cozy place. They have an eclectic menu and varied options. Since I am vegetarian.. I tried make my own omlette with spinach and roasted garlic. I absolutely loved it. The portion is good enough for a full breakfast. Certainly a must vi
Amazing customer service, food was extremely tasty. I don’t have words to describe my experience at this cafe. As a vegetarian they had lots of vegan options. I left with a huge smile on my face. Highly recommend this cafe. Thank you!
A great spot if you like your traditional brunch food with a little but of a twist. We got the San Diego, which is a benny on a cornbread instead of the tradition english muffin. It was surprisingly really delicious. The pancakes were nice and fluffy as well. Will definitely come back to try more on
Wonderful restaurant. Great service and amazing food. Today was the Classic Benny with hash browns. Eggs cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was on point. No wonder they were featured on the TV show you gotta eat here.
Great breakfast spot in the downtown core. Ample space, clean facilities, and friendly service. Coffee was always topped up and the specials were a tasty generous portion.
They always have a long queue to enter the cafe. Menu looks tempting. I am planning to go with my family now. Will make 4stars to 5 once I know food is good and living up to the hype as I see with the queue outside. :-)
First off let me mention the staff, Amazing! Every person I see when I come here is happy smiling and with genuinely happy attitudes. I can only speak for the Coastal omelette which I have ordered half a dozen times. Usually with one side of soup and one side of hash browns it comes to $18 and is
Up in the top spot of best Bennies ever. The jalapeño benny was perfectly cooked and had such an amazing flavour!! A must stop while in Victoria.
