A nice place for a leisurely walk near waterfront. They have good seafood and treats during the day. But many shops closed or closed early in winter months. Still a nice walk and enjoy the view. Check before you go if you plan on dining there in winter months. They do have parking nearby or street parking.

Fisherman's Wharf Park is a charming destination nestled along the waterfront, known for its scenic views, boathouses, and bustling atmosphere. However, during the winter season on weekdays, it experiences a slight decline in the number of open restaurants. While this may be disappointing for food enthusiasts, it presents a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy a quieter ambiance and indulge in other activities. One advantage of visiting Fisherman's Wharf Park during the weekdays in winter is the reduced crowd. With fewer people around, it becomes an ideal setting for capturing mesmerizing tourist photos. Whether you're an amateur photographer or a seasoned pro, the park's picturesque backdrop, featuring a combination of boats, water, and charming architecture, provides endless opportunities for stunning shots. The absence of large crowds also means you won't have to worry about navigating through masses of people, enhancing your overall experience. Besides photography, taking a leisurely walk alongside the boathouses is a delightful way to soak in the park's serene atmosphere. The winter air lends a crispness to the surroundings, making it a refreshing and invigorating stroll. You can observe the boats docked along the marina, admiring their unique designs and imagining the adventures they've embarked upon. The quieter period during weekdays allows for a more immersive experience, allowing you to appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. While the reduced availability of open restaurants may be a downside for those seeking a culinary experience, it shouldn't deter you from visiting Fisherman's Wharf Park during winter weekdays. Instead, consider it an opportunity to explore nearby cafes or eateries that do remain open, offering a chance to try something new or indulge in a cozy meal. Additionally, you can always plan your visit accordingly by bringing your own snacks or picnic items to enjoy in the park while embracing the peaceful ambiance. In conclusion, Fisherman's Wharf Park during winter weekdays may experience limited restaurant options, but it compensates with a quieter atmosphere and ample opportunities for photography and leisurely walks by the boathouses. If you're looking for a chance to capture stunning tourist photos or simply enjoy a serene waterfront experience, this can be an ideal time to visit. So grab your camera, bundle up, and immerse yourself in the scenic beauty and charm of Fisherman's Wharf Park.

We walked from our hotel all the way along the waterfront of Victoria's Inner Harbour, along David Foster Way, to Fisherman's Wharf. The colourful houseboats were a picturesque and eye-catching sight! It was fun to wander and admire the charming (some not so charming!) floating homes. There were food and ice cream kiosks, and places for booking tours. We spotted seals in the water. Well worth a visit.

Completely out of this world. So cool, it drove me nuts. Actual real floating village with residents. Just fantastic!!!!! Please note: If you are a careless parent, there is nothing there to stop your "king child" to tip over in deep waters. It may look like a playground, but it's not.

This destination is perfect for seafood lovers, with many fresh plates available. The colourful floating homes and wooden pathways create a visually pleasing atmosphere. It's a great place to spend the entire day, with its open and friendly environment and tasty food options everywhere. Overall, it's an ideal location to unwind and relax.

Fisherman's Wharf is a distinctive marine location with shops, food kiosks, floating houses and some tour agencies. There's a store selling fresh kinds of seafood or they can cook them for you but expensive. The floating houses are colourful and the water taxi is interesting. The ambiance is festive and lively but the washroom is terribly messy. Closes at 9:00 PM. There is a park nearby with a small kid’s playground and few picnic tables. The sunset overlooking the water is beautiful.

Beautiful walk in the sun on the dock. Lots of food and drink choices. Both water taxis available for affordable tours of the harbour. And gorgeous park across the road for the kids.

Beautiful touristic area in Victoria with cute colorful houses and some restaurants. In October only few restaurants were open. Was not very crowded. Public washrooms need some attention and improvement.
