Fabulous sushi! For awhile, we'd have the nigiri platter on a weekly basis.
Food is excellent and price very reasonable. Have it at home or take it out for a picnic.

Great little sushi place. We have found our new favorite sushi place for sure. We ordered a 4 kinds tray over the phone for pick up. Food was ready on time, taste was great. One of the rolls had purple cabbage on the outside, and another had something pink, forgot to ask what (wasn't ginger, that was separate), which made for a neat presentation. Place is not fancy inside, but cosy.

Amazing. This is such a small, little tucked away sushi place with boring decor, but the sushi is amazing. I ordered the 9pc yam roll and 9pc veggie roll, and shared a small sour apricot roll. The apricot roll was different, but the other two were superb. Instead of being deep fried, the yams in the yam roll were rolled with what seemed to be rice crispy's, which gave the roll a nice crunch, without the unhealthyness of deepfrying. My new favorite place for sure.
Delicious!. Lives up to its high rating. Very nice staff and they are also more than happy to make a "custom" roll if your favourite isn't on the menu.

Reputation well deserved!. After other recommendations and reading reviews, we decided to try it out for ourselves.
Just be warned, do NOT expect anything fancy! This is a little Japanese store with a little bistro in it, in a little strip mall. Fortunately, they're big in everything else!
I had the Dynamite Roll combo (with Miso and Bean Noodle Salad) and my wife had the California Roll Combo. We shared the Spicy Tuna and Spicy Scallop rolls. My Dynamite roll was a nice change from the norm, a large roll stuffed with crab and avocado, as well as a tempura shrimp. My wife had no complaints about her California roll, and she was in love with the bean noodle salad. The Spicy rolls we didn't find that spicy, compared to what we're used to. There was a small bit of heat, but what we liked is the fact that the taste of the fish wasn't masked by the spice, although we would have preferred a little more heat from it.
Overall it was a great meal with quality behind it. It's well deserved of it's ratings!
Awesome find. Everything we had was great - rolls, nigiri, sunumono. So hard to find awesome interior sushi. We just became long term customers.

Must try this sushi. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the sushi is awesome. The rice is perfect and the fish is cut very nice. This place is a must try for sushi lovers. They will also make sushi tradtional style if requested (rice on the inside)
They have excellent food and a great selection of quality groceries and products. The owners are very personable and they go out of their way to find products that customers are looking for.
Tried it for the first time last night the food was very good prices were good definitely the best sushi experience I have had in Vernon
