Review Hot Spot On 6 - Vernon

Yay! Vernon has a great Greek restaurant! This was my first time eating here. It is one of the very few local spots open on Sundays. I think they were short-staffed (who isn't, these days?) because only one duo was ahead of us in line, but we still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. Unusual for Vernon. Once seated it took another 15 minutes or so to order our food. Again, I think this is a pandemic side effect, and not the norm. The food was delicious though. The other Greek restaurant in Vernon is so bad I hadn't gone to another Greek restaurant for nearly 10 years. Hot Spot on 6 is really good! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus as well as daily specials! Note they do close in the middle of the day between 2 and 4.

I had the eggs Benny. It was very good. The eggs were prepared to my liking. The hollandaise sauce was good and the hashbrowns were nice and crunchy. Very good food!

Have had several meals here recently, and so far very happy each time. Service has been good, prices reasonable, and the food very good. The burgers were huge and delicious, the Greek food, especially the souvlaki excellent, and the appetiser we have tried very tasty. Salads have all been excellent. We look forward each time we go, and have been very happy.

Went here with fiancé one day, was charmed, and came back the next day with visiting family. Really good menu. Truly enjoyed the creme brulee French toast. And the southern chicken waffle was amazing.

Still here!!! Most places don't last six months in this location. But it's still great. Food excellent, service is friendly. Pro chef!!

Went for lunch with my family. I ordered a ceasar while we looked over the menu, it was brought out in a glass coffee mug. Very little amount of clamato, with an olive and a chickpea garnish, do not recommend it. Next, while looking for something to eat, i ordered the calamari meal for the kids and I. Then, my husband asked for an item, server said they didn’t have it. After a few choices and questions, my husband said he’s good than. This is where you would think the server would suggest a good item from the menu that maybe my husband would like to try or ask if the calamari was it? Nope, instead he suggested we leave if my husband didn't want to order.

Hot Spot on 6 catered our church’s Valentine’s Date Night for 60 people. We ordered the Greek Souvlaki Dinner Buffet and it was fabulous! Joanna (Manager or owner) was wonderful to work with, so accommodating to our needs and Kumar, the chef did an outstanding job. They both personally delivered the food. Presentation was attractively displayed and food was so plentiful and delicious. Everyone was able to eat as much as they wanted, many coming for seconds or thirds. They supplied us with Chicken Alfredo Penne as well and the sauce was perfectly seasoned and chicken pieces were so tender they seemed to melt in my mouth! Baklava was provided for dessert. It was perfectly executed by Joanna herself and beautifully presented!! Our church will definitely call on Hot Spot again for a catered event and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. 10 out of 10! Ruth

Amazing food, great flavors. Service is awesome, so friendly and great humor. Always have a fun time when coming here
