Review Pho Fusion - Vernon

Angela S.
I am from Vancouver, were we have endless Pho hot-spots. I gotta say, Pho Fusion has one of the best broths I have ever tasted. I will surely be back again once I come back to visit my family 💕🙌.

Pho Fusion has some of the most refined & flavorful dishes I've had the pleasure of indulging in on. Both the service & the quality of ingredients were top notch! I will be back!

Great pho in Vernon! I had the beef ball pho. The beef broth is very flavourful and the bell balls had the perfect 'bounce'. My husband had the house special vermecelli and said it was great as well, came with lots of meat. The spring rolls were also great, especially the pork ones. They were wrapped in the rice paper which provided the perfect crispiness.

My first visit to Vernon and Pho Fusion. I love the Vietnamese spring roll and over the last 30 years, living in/around Vancouver, I never had a bad Spring Roll. As they say, there has got to be a first time for everything and Today was it for me. I ordered the pork spring roll to go with my grilled chicken rice meal. Roll was thinner the the usual and it was not pre-cut. The filling was just OK, but nowhere near the taste/flavor of what I regard as Vietnamese spring roll. The main, grilled chicken, was chunks of chicken breast that were pre-cooked/boiled and just barely grilled so as to show the grill marks with no special flavor. On the plus size, portion of the grilled chicken rice meal was good and the staff at the counter were nice and friendly. I don’t think I be returning to Pho Fusion again. May be I was just unlucky and my favorite dishes were not their specialty, as I see many good reviews.

Ordered over the phone. Answered right away politely. Placed my order. They ran out of something, they called me back right away and we made a substitution. Excellent food. Fantastic staff. Highly recommend!!

Didn’t know I liked Pho. But I do. In fact I love it. Pho Fusion was the first place I tried it. Been to a few other Pho restaurants in the Okanagan but I keep coming back to Pho Fusion. Amazing food. Friendly service.

Place was great. I wud give 5 stars but the service was poor. And I understand. They were busy. But when I go without water for 20 minutes. Thats a bit much. Off day. Whatever. Food was delicious. We liked it very much. We will be returning. Great job to everyone

There are four Vietnamese restaurants in Vernon. Pho Fusion is the best. Hands down. No Contest. Can not be beat. No one else even compares.

Came in after the lunch rush at about 2pm on a weekday. Was nicely greeted and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Ordered #16 and single spring roll and was disappointed with the long wait time for the food to arrive. Took over 15mins for the spring roll to arrive and close to 20mins for the Pho. Surprising considering there were only 5 or so other tables being used at the time and most were already eating their food.

Pho was just ok. Big difference to the Vancouver area Pho joints that I often go to. Broth lacked flavour and I would compare it to the old school Pho Hoa chain of restaurants.

Greeted upon entry into a very clean restaurant. Friendly staff and fast service. Started with an appetizer which arrived fast and hot. Deep fried tofu with chilli sauce, very good. Wife and I each had a small Pho, #16 and #18. We both found it to be a bit heavy on the noodles and a bit lite on the meat but overall it's the best we have found in the interior. We moved from Vancouver and miss our favourite Pho place. This is our new Pho place for now. It's worth a visit.

Came here for dinner and the place was packed - clearly popular among the locals and travelers alike. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I tried the spring rolls, pork + shrimp vermicelli bowl and chicken + beef rice wraps. The spring rolls were great, decent size, filled with all the right stuff. The vermicelli was decent, not as great as what I'm used to at home but I'm spoiled with great Vietnamese options in Edmonton. I felt the vermicelli noodles were a tad overlooked. The pork and shrimp were good but not that seasoned (imo) so I ended up added quite a bit of hoisin and Sriracha to amp up the flavor. The wraps were great and they have solved the problem I run into every time of when trying to separate rice wraps, they've done it for you and layered each one between a plastic discs - very clever! Overall, I can see why this place is popular and would definitely stop by again.

Had quite a disappointing evening. Food wise, it was good. Nothing really stood out though. Nothing I haven't had before. Average Vietnamese food. Nothing really out there or overly traditional or unique in that matter. I'm not sure where the Fusion part comes in.

We arrived at 7pm and I ordered the Lychee drink. They were out. Ordered the deep fried wontons. They didn't have any. We order 3 appetizers and 4 meals. Everything comes at once. We finished our dinners at 8pm, half got cold because everything was just unloaded on our table at one time.
The waitress comes around to clear our plates asking if we want anything else. I order the two and only desserts they have. She comes back to say the kitchen was closed and won't make our desserts! What the??! Why would she even ask us if we want anything else?? I get if the place closes its doors to new customers at 8pm( which seems ridiculously early to me ) but you can't finish the service of the customers you already have??
No warning the kitchen was about to close or anything.
I honestly could not believe they do not finish the dinner service for the customers that came in. Left 20% for the young girl but completely was turned off from this experience. Zero appreciation for their customers business. Get in. Get out.

Worst Pho I've ever had. Never been to a Pho house that serves thick noodles in their HUE style Pho... Definitely not going back...

Best pho in this small town. Just moved here from Calgary..

I am used to getting amazing pho in big cities, and have tried each of the Vietnamese restaurants in Vernon. Food is good, just average but ask for extra veg or meat in the soup dishes. The hours are short, and the service is strictly ok..

This restaurant is decent, but the food is certainly better than all the other Pho restaurants in town.

First time goer long time eater. I'm new to Vernon but have had many experiences dining in and taking out of Asian style restaurants all the way from the Northwest coast to Vancouver island. As a Pacific Islander myself, there are certain qualities I look for in my food: taste, price and presentation; Pho Fusion does an excellent job balancing great taste with reasonable prices. Their staff was courteous and respectful. It took 15 minutes to cook our food and the restaurant itself looked emaculate. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Vernon area as I can myself going back many more times in the future..!

By far.... ... this is my favourite place in Vernon. Great food, relaxing atmosphere, and amazing staff. Especially the short brown hair lady with the tattoo just below the back of her neck!

Pretty good. I like the rice dishes they are pretty full, the pho though does not have enough meat its a few pieces of meat with a ton of noodles and broth. Waitress was cold when I went there.
Melly_zombie
It was very watered down tasting, and there was hardly anything in my bowl, they just pack it with a ton of noodles and you get a few slivers of meat. Its very over priced and not good quality.

Best food in Vernon. We eat at Pho Fusion often! And so does pretty much everyone at my work. The #44 is a big hit but I also like the #11 with lemongrass and extra veggies. The quality is very good and it is always the same. This is a very busy restaurant so sometimes you do have to seat yourself - but the service is usually good.

Worst Pho experience and I love Pho on a weekly basis. Spring rolls were not fresh and had a slap of pork that had consistency of leather. Had the vermicelli noodle bowl with pork & spring rolls. Spring rolls were not freshly made and were the same kind u can find at Costco (inferior version) and weren't even warm. The pork was weird looking and tasting. Sent spring rolls back but no one came out to inquire and still charged me for them. Couldn't finish to bowl . Would not recommend if you like Pho.

Poor Lunch. My wife and I decided to try Pho Fusion for a different flavour of lunch. We both decided to try one of the "Soup Bowl" styles of lunch. The bottom line is that neither was worth what they cost. My "Sea Food" bowl had 2-shrimp, 1-piece of artificial crab, 6 -small pieces of squid and 3- wanton's. The rest was a bland mix of noodles and chicken broth. My wife's selection was equally disappointing. We will not be back.

Good Food. Excellent Pho, however the soup broth could be a bit more flavorful. Will definitely return. Service was average.

Awesome Food. My family and I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed! Cheap food, tasty food, fresh, best pho in town. We can eat as a family of 4 for around $70 including tip. That's including appies and entrees! Will not stop going here :)

Wonderful food but HORRENDOUS service. Expect not to be acknowledged when you walk in, wait a long time to be seated, ultimately seat yourself and then have to ask for menus, water and to place your order. Not a one-time occurrence....been back 3 times with exact same poor service each time. Food barely makes up for it. Servers could care less. Place wasn't even busy. Unacceptable for restaurant dining... Particularly in a small town. Boo!

Great taste. I am an avid cook and get inspired by going to Pho. Ive tried many dishes but always find my way back to #66. I cant get enough of this dish and have tried to replicate at home. Very good!

I had the basic rare beef noodle soup. The broth was nice but there was a definite shortage on the beef and noodles. I've lived in Vancouver and had Pho all over the place, the one thing I've always enjoyed is most restaurants were very generous with the portions. There obviously aren't as many places in the Okanagan so it'll be interesting to see the comparisons.

Love it. Food is always fresh, hot and delicious.

Photastic. Love this restaurant. Freshest and most wonderful tasting spring rolls and noodles. Pho is fantastic. Stir frys cooked to perfection with fresh, crispy vegetables.

This restaurant is very busy at lunch time. Good sign of a great restaurant.

Love, love love.

Great Food. One of the best places in Vernon for Vietnamese food. This used to be one of my favourites (until we found another place in Kelowna), but I'd still recommend checking it out.

It's early, before noon and Phở Fusion just opened. Despite the name, the menu is straight up Vietnamese. Phở Fusion’s dining area is bright and airy; the furnishings are clean and modern. The restaurant steadily fills up during our meal. By the time we wrap-up, there are two more servers working the floor, and a loud hum of afternoon lunch chatter in Phở Fusion’s dining room.
