Review Diner On Six - Vernon

Very cool little diner experience. Clean environment, quick service. You order before you are seated which is nice and seems to save time. We were seated and food was served 7 minutes later. Checked on regularly by staff. Bathrooms were very clean. The only unfortunate aspect of the indoor seating is the tables are smaller and you wouldn't be able to seat more than 5 people. I'd say it's mid to high end priced but they do offer half size portions. For a family of 5(3 kids 2 adults) it was 90$ with tip.

This was my girlfriend and I'm first time here. It was an excellent experience. There was a very long lineup (7 groups) in front of us. There was a young couple who casually cut in line in front of everybody, but I don't think anyone else really noticed. This is a restaurant where you order when you enter then get seated afterwards. All condiments and syrup and drinks are given to you when you sit down. I wasn't listening when our order was repeated back to me. The server was fine with remaking our food. It was completely my fault, but she remade it cheerfully. Every breakfast place does hashbrowns drastically different in Vernon. This place has hashbrowns in the form of sliced baked potatoes with onions. It tasted pretty good. Our whole meal was delicious for only 30 bucks total. The skillets looked so good. I wish I ordered it like my girlfriend did. Highly recommend. I hope to come back soon! They have lots of dividers between tables, numerous hand sanitization stations, clean bathroom, and hot water in the bathroom too! There is indoor and outdoor seating too!

This tiny diner is hands down the best spot in town for breakfast. So many tasty options for breakfast! It amazes me with how busy they can get that the service is so quick! Truly a gem in Vernon!

Great food and service. The wife got the chicken melt on gluten-free bread it looked great and she said it was amazing. Looking forward to trying more of their gluten-free options.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast just yesterday and had a great experience. You order and pay for your food at the counter before being seated, which actually made it quite simple to get up and go once you were done your food. I kept things simple and got their breakfast option that included 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, and my choice of waffle, pancakes, or French toast. I went with the waffle, and added a side of hash browns. Their hash browns are cooked homestyle, and the addition of green onions was a fantastic touch. My waffle was perfectly cooked, and my food was up within 10 minutes of me being seated. My girlfriend got their classic Eggs Benedict, which was also delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place - no fuss, just really great food at reasonable prices.

great breakfast served super efficient , almost like a Steinfeld episode when you order. fun and great food what else do you want??? Trip back and it was a big breakfast, hot fast good. Back again this time tried the ultimate omlete and my guest had the ham cheese omelet. Both large portiIns that lasted all day. Whoe needs lunch after this. Had a hreat lunch here also enjoyed their golden burger entry

Our new go to place for that breakfast experience in the Okanagan. Seems like a bit of an older fashioned Diner, but with fantastic service, delightfully friendly and great, tasty food. All the locals know about it :)

The food is always excellent. We were sat immediately and the servers were very quick considering how busy they were from all the Funtastics crowds. Yet food took quite awhile but came out Hot & Delicious! Finally a restaurant in that location is successsful since the Royal Knights days!!

Had our first diner on Six experience. Awesome service, amazing food and decent pricing. Something tells me we will be back.. often!

Drove past this place.. seen a sign about burgers.. did a hard U ball into the parking lot and strolled on in. Talk about hittin the jackpot. You order first, pay then sit down which was a little different but i liked getting the tip out of the way ahead of time. Down to business...I wolfed down a big delicious burger and enough fries to feed a small army. The fries were probably the best Ive had in BC. No shit. plus the gravy wasa dark and had a nice salty beefy taste. I also took down 2 fountain Cokes which were also killer..like bowling alley Coke. I’ll be back at this place for sure.

The service here is unique. You order at the counter and pay right away. But your drinks will be at the table before you even sit down! The food is excellent. Much fresher than typical diner food! No lineup on a Sunday at 10. Totally worth a visit!

I enjoyed breakfast at the Diner on Six on three different occasions during my week vacation in Vernon! The traditional breakfast was superb, the pancake combo was so good and the French toast combo was magnificent. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. This is without question the # 1 place for breakfast in Vernon!

This place has been in Vernon a long time and for good reason. I was recently there and noticed they've really stepped up the decor and put in new large booths for big groups. I usually go for breakfast and when I do it's the big breakfast, which is a bit more pricy but I guarantee that most likely you won't be finishing it. Always warm friendly service and it seems you rarely have to wait for your food. They have a good thing going here.

Affordable, delicious and super friendly as well!. We first tried to go to a different breakfast place in Vernon but found it closed. So we jumped onto ubran spoon and saw the excellent reviews for this place, and decided to give it a try. Needless to say we were not disappointed, everything from us walking in to us leaving was a great experience. Service was super quick and very friendly, prices were good and the food fantastic. Easily some of the best eggs Benedict and skillet we have had in a long time. Would reccommend it to anyone driving though Vernon.

What a great place! Friendly, efficient service, great food and very reasonable prices. I almost couldn't finish my portion. They cooked the good exactly the way everyone in my party asked. Would definitely return!

Food was good, classic 'Mom and Pop' Diner fare. If you want eggs and toast, bacon and eggs, hash browns, a pretty good eggs Benedict, steak and eggs or any combination of the above, you're set. Not ground-breaking by any means, but again, good. And the coffee keeps coming - that helps.

Great, great, great. Not what I was expecting. You have to order at the counter, but don't let that fool you - the breakfast was amazing, the coffee good and fresh, and the service is excellent
