Review Eatology - Vernon

Stopped in for lunch after googling what was close by and we were impressed. Great spot in the old greyhound station. Selection was amazing and healthy ( or not) and the atmosphere is unique, featuring local art and photos. Service was pleasant and quick. Food was above expectation. I had a budda bowl with tofu and it was perfect. The sauces were delicious. Thanks for a new spot for us to frequent!

This place is busy for a reason! The service is fast and friendly, the bacon benny was delicious, and the atmosphere was fresh and fun. I'll definitely be back!

OMG!!!!! This is awesome!!! One of the Best burger I’ve had in my life! The combination of flavours in the veggie burger is amazing! They replaced the patty with vegetarian chicken patty, and OMG!! We skipped garlic aoli because of egg, and still it was mind blowing! Oh! The caramel iced latte is the best ive ever had. You get bits of caramel intermittently when you sip the coffee!! Ould definitely give my highest recommendation and would love to come back!!

Ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benny on the potato cakes... and oh my gosh! Super delicious, incredibly flavourful, so filling! Will definitely be back to try out other menu items!!

I really like this place. It feels like organized chaos, in a good way! Very friendly staff and very accommodating to large families. The food is exactly what I expected, solid home cooked comfort food. Huge portions! I don’t think I’ve finished a dish here. Lovely home made lemonades.

Friendly atmosphere (especially the staffs), beautiful interior, always crowded though the waitlist is usually not bad. The food and beverage is delicious.

Had the avo on toast made vegan and it was one of the best tofu scrambles I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something cause I’ve had a lot. Coffee was great too, chill vibes, quick service, good prices. Will be coming back for sure next time I’m in Vernon.

I find it odd to pay (&tip!) for a meal before it's been served. The service was nice enough at the counter but after the meal is served they don't come by to ask how it is or anything. It's odd. Our food was decent enough- I found the Mexican skillet too spicy, and it should have had sour cream to counterbalance the spice. (I would have gladly paid more for it, had that been an option, but again, nobody spoke to us after the meal arrived at the table.) Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and his fries were cold. That being said- the prices were good. The music was good. I may give this place another shot, seeing as I've heard so many raves. But our first visit missed the mark.

I hate to give this place a 2 star But every time I go it's for breakfast and my wife and I usually order the exact same thing every time and every time we ask for hashbrowns well done and every time that they come out to us they have to be sent back because they're not well done. Today I go with my daughter Same thing place my order asked for my hashbrowns well done my hashbrowns come out to me not well done I send them back five minutes later they bring me another plate of hashbrowns and they look the exact same as The plate I just sent back Waiter asked if I wanted them redone again which would be their third time doing them. I just said no You guys r the best place in Vernon to go for breakfast get your shit together and your hashbrowns on point Teach your line cooks what well done is

I moved to the Vernon area about a year ago from Los Angeles. I absolutely love breakfast and couldn't wait to try every breakfast spot in town until I found my favorite. Thought I had one in place until I came to Eatology. This spot is easily the best in town. I see some have complained about having to order before being seated but this isn't the only spot in town to do things this way. And if you think about it, it works. I like getting my order in right away and I've never felt rushed even during busy times. And there's way less waiting around when you're finished. You're paid up, just roll out. Top spot. Do yourself a favor. ����

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Favorite and the only restaurant I go to when I come to Vernon for trips! I love the atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course the most amazing food! I can’t even decide which menu item is my favorite because they honestly all are! If you’re in the area definitely check out Eatology, you won’t be disappointed!

I had been entranced by the name and sandwich board menu. But every time I went by it was packed. I use a walker so need a bit of extra space. I finally found the best time to go in. I had a bacon Bennie that was awesome and the best latte ever. I have lived and dined in 6 provinces. This is serious delicious food. Can't wait to try the bacon jam.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars as well! Insanely delicious food, happy customer service and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to go back!

Love this place! The food is always great and consistent. Only place I know with such a variety of eggs benedict. The owner and staff are also wonderful. Just a heads up, if you come at lunch time... have extra time! It can be hard to get a seat (it's that good).

Fresh, cool place! Love the vibe and atmosphere. Reminds me of a Kuaia coffee house. Good selection of healthy and "cheat" foods. They accommodated my request to alter the recipe a bit. Good portions and kids ate every bite of their waffle and stuffed French toast. Delicious. Servers were friendly and attentive. Kudos to eatology for bringing this forward vibe to Vernon. A great addition would be some Acai bowls during the summer months! ��

I have been a few times and always get the only vegan option- the Buddha bowl. Love the nutritional yeast dressing but it would really be nice if the tofu was marinated. Also more vegan options would be amazing, maybe a breakfast dish?

Came through Vernon on our honeymoon and stopped here. Bright, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Ordered the stuffed French toast and ham eggs benny and it was phenomenal in both taste and presentation. I would recommend anyone stopping through Vernon to drop in here.

If you haven’t been to Eatology, you’re missing out. The music, the friendly staff and the most incredible menu, how does one choose. One of my favorite is mexi skillet, burgers with dirty fries and their salmon chowder soup. And their latte are made to perfection!

Loved it! My first visit to this place and it was very busy. Well worth the wait. Good staff good food. I will be sure to eat here again. Had the flat bread chicken and was not disappointed.

My family and I came from the states to a wedding in Vernon. And on our way home we stopped at Eatology for breakfast. Great service and delicious meal. Looking forward to enjoy their amazing food again.

What an Amazing breakfast we had with my husband. The pulled pork sandwich and eggs benedict was delicious. We will be going there again and I cant wait!!

Went for lunch yesterday with my friend.. the food was very good.. I had the Buddha bowl.. dressing was amazing.. would really like the recipe.. the only thing I didn't like is the way you have to order your food. It would be nice to sit down with a menu.. my friend felt rushed because it was so busy and didn't really have time to think about what she wanted. The wait staff were great.. everything else is an A++

Absolutely amazing pulled pork benny!! Their hollandaise sauce is the best I've ever tasted. Plus they've got Tapatio hot sauce which is always a plus in my book. Best restaurant in town!

Best spot in town for breakfast. No question. Varied menu, quality ingredients, good coffee. Do it.
