Review Mr.sub - Vaughan

The three stars is for servers it was decent service respectful. But the food is a different start I usually get the Louisiana chicken sub we used to have it in the steam table soaking in the sauce no longer they do that he lost his taste and sloppiness not doing that and also not making it a hot sub yeah to warm the chicken up in the microwave but it's not the same no I would not be running back for it no longer mr. Sub changed a lot do you need to go back what made them one of the best subs I don't think I will run back for Subs very quickly. I know there is competition like subway I miss the summer I grew up with it but has everything it changed people don't understand what made them popular please don't stick with it too bad it remind me of another company Tim Horton they got too big for the budget too bad

I have been eating mr. Sub for over 30 years and this store should be taken over by head office… very poorly run as the bread was hard and not soft and fresh like most of the locations I usually go to. Also all the veggies were mixed around in each others containers… MR.SUB has always stood for freshness and it is what you expect when you visit. Wasn’t fresh at all.. won’t ever return

Sign on door says it closes at 9pm on Wednesday. Showed up and they were already closed at 6:55pm. Lady inside was cleaning the grill and said they were closed.

This Mr Sub needs to change its hours of operation they ARE NEVER OPEN!!! Why it closes early on the weekends baffles me!! And yes I too have experienced on MANY occasions being denied a GRILLED sub because the machine was already cleaned before closing!! Don’t turn it off or wait until you actually close the store to clean the machine... it’s very simple. Just wait! If the hours were better you guys would definitely have more customers and service. The food is ONLY good when my sub is ACTUALLY GRILLED!

I have no issue with the food at this location, but my last visit was terrible as the employee saw me about to enter the store and she quickly turned the neon 'open' sign off and locked the door. She clearly saw me and it was about 20 minutes before the store was supposed to close (7pm). They should really hire new employees who can do their job, or change the store hours.

it's unfortunate I have to give this place 1 star because it's the first time I've been to this franchise and was told I am not allowed to get "extra" toppings. I asked for extra mushrooms and was told that I am not allowed to do that. The bread was harder than any other Mr.Sub I've been to and the toppings weren't even cut properly just had these giant slices that looked like a kid cut them. The sandwich artist then put next to no sub sauce when I asked her to so I told her to put more and she gave another look before proceeding. I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed but maybe the pandemic has caused them to do this. Hopefully management sees this and fixes this before more customers decide not to return to her establishment. Definitely won't be coming back.

I'd give 0 stars if possible. There are 9 people in line inside, they running out of bread. Only has 7 wholewheat buns left and it's 5:45pm. One Employee trying at slow-speed to fill orders. No personality seems grumpy about her job. Won't be returning here. Too many other good food options in this area.

Mr. Sub is absolutely great very fresh ingredients and fresh bread. Customer service is also great they fulfill all your requests and give you the necessary time without rushing you to decide what you really want in your meal from a lot of choices. Those guys deserve to be the best among Mr. Sub shops. Thank you guys for the delicious sandwiches and for the best service.
