Review Wild Wing - Vaughan

Angely Dini
There was no one really in here - not a problem. First time here to any wild wing. Service was great - there was one server/bartender (she was both) she was very lovely, very nice, quick. My poutine (chili) wasn't really that great, didn't have much flavor (still liked but nothing to take to share) boyfriend got the chicken poutine and it was super good, but over salted. Overall, I liked it

We have been to other wild wing restaurants and found them to have reasonably good food, decent service and usually we have a good experience overall. This particular location was definitely below our expectations based on the other locations we have been to. Service was very slow despite the place being almost empty. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills on drinks...had to ask twice for sauce we ordered , there were no condiments on our table and could not find a waitress so we grabbed the ketchup off another table. The tables were not clean, wings were not good (undercooked, over seasoned). The wings also had a funny taste- similar to the taste you get if the oil isn't changed regularly. I don't submit reviews often but I think that will change. If I had read prior reviews we would have chosen to go elsewhere. I hope this review will be helpful for people who are thinking about going here. I especially hope it will help this establishment understand how they can improve on their service in an effort to meet the standards some of the other wild wing locations have set. You need to hire people who care.... Cleanliness, well-made food and attentive waitresses will go a long way to improve the customer experience. Until then, it is doubtful we will be back.

I do not recommend this restaurant. 1) We waited 45 minutes for our food. When we inquired about it, they gave a lame excuse and said: "There are many customers and we are just a small franchise." I guess they do not know not to provide that many tables for customers if their staff cannot handle it. We would've appreciated being told that there would be a 45-minute waiting time so that we could decide if we still wanted to eat there. 2) We got chicken dipped in ranch dressing instead of what we ordered which was blue cheese chicken wings. I guess they ran out and thought we were dumb enough to think ranch was blue cheese. 3) They billed us incorrectly. They charged for something we did not order. Overall an unpleasant dining experience. Will NEVER return.

I feel the need to write a review due to my experience at this location. Almost a year ago, I first visited Wild Wings for my brothers birthday. There were about 20 of us in total. We had a HORRIBLE experience to say the least. All of our orders were messed up. Food came out an hour after the fact.... We actually got so frustrated that we called the restaurant, while seated, to ask if we can get service out here.... Bills... Totally wrong in every angle. So, lets fast forward... A few weeks ago, my cousin decided to hold his birthday social here. I was not looking forward to it. Almost told him no because of how bad of an experience we had. But, i expected the worse and went ahead. There were over 20 of us here again and only one waitress. So, of course, in my head, i was already thinking "here we go again.. Another disaster for the books" but was i WRONG! THIS AMAZING woman (had to catch her name because i was so shocked - Sarah) handled everything and then some. She got out drinks right away, pitchers of water for the table without asking, took our orders in an organized fashion (by our names). No room for error. Everything came out in a timely manner. Everything was CORRECT and exactly as we asked. Didn't have to ask her for anything, she made sure she checked up on us, drinks were topped, napkins and such were on the table. Because of this, my faith was restored in this establishment. I'm more than happy to return, relax with friends and share moments here again. Even near closing, she didn't rush us, gave us time and it was a Sunday night so like anyone, she probably wanted to cap her night . But she was extremely respectful. Thank you Sarah for everything you did that night. Your work ethics are beyond amazing. Looking forward to coming again!

The worst wild wing ever! If you enjoy small wings with no meat, which are dry then this is the place for you. We ordered the two flavor wings that is supposed to feed two people, we got hardly enough fries for one person. We ordered candian eh and bbq and there was hardly any flavor in the wings at all. Our waitress only came over to ask how our meal was once we were finished. Overall not impressed with service or food. Wish I had of taken a picture but we were in a rush.

I usually never post reviews, however after the terrible service experienced at this location, I was not impressed. Waitresses appeared overworked and understaffed. We were not acknowledged for 15 minutes after being directed to the table in the corner. My fiancée eventually had to go up to the counter to grab our own menus. We ended up leaving, as no one bothered to come and take our orders, even after repeatedly attempting to wave down a waitress. We will not be coming back

If I could give a rating of zero, I would for this location. I took my school badminton team to the location. There were about 15 of us and we ordered the ½ price wing special. However when we ready to pay, the total price including their 15% gratuity did not even add up to the price it was supposed to be. The students never got a bill, and when we questioned the server about the final price she kept insisting that the discount was given. Clearly she doesn’t know how to do the simple math if a bunch of 15 year olds realize that the final bill doesn’t add up. After asking for their physical bills numerous times, the server was not able to produce the bill saying that the machine kept crashing or that the printer was jamming. The whole situation was just very fishy. After reading reviews for this location I discovered that this was happening to other customers or that the server was putting items on the bill that were actually not purchased. I called and left a message for their manager and also sent an email via their contact us page, but still haven’t heard back. Avoid this location unless you feel like being cheated.

I have never felt the need to write a review in my life up until tonight. I literally just left wild wing and I must say this has got to be the worst experience I've ever had, ever. Words cannot explain how terrible this service was tonight. Our drinks of water and one glass of wine took about 10 minutes to be brought to us even though the restaurant was completely empty. They forget to bring the second water and only brought one, that was the first sign of a big no no. Secondly, a table that came in after us received their wings and nachos before our wings and wrap order. Also, the man behind the bar brought his friend food and drinks before us. 40 minutes later the wing order came out first and I sat for an extra ten minutes for my wrap, keep in mind I was only with one other person. How hard can it be to fry some wings and toss a salad into a wrap? Finally when the bill came, we opened the bill holder, to see no bill at all... The waitress who was also the cook and server brought us a bill of 40 dollars and we don't even know if that's how much we purchased. Unbelievably terrible, I could let a lot slide, but to have a bill holder come and I open it up to have no bill receipt inside is completely ridiculous. No wonder why all wild wings are getting shut down. I will never in my life step foot into a wild wing again, thanks to this location. Good riddance!

Absolute Dissapointment. This was absolutely horrible. I usually enjoy the wings and always have the same flavor of wings: Some Beach. The sauce on the wings was not tasty at all. I had just a couple of them and they tasted like they were dumped in a bucket of water. They were very wet. I had two of them and threw the rest out. I will no longer eat at this location as it is an apparent disappointment. The restaurant was empty and I picked up my order at 10pm this past Monday night. Why is this location even still open?

NEVER AGAIN

Waited over 15 minutes after ordering to receive my drinks, and about 30 min for 10 boneless wings. What is it about these places that they have such terrible service???

Really Good Wings. Came here last week with my girlfriend and her friend. Have been to 2 other Wild Wing's and both were great; the Vaughan Mills location is as well.

Super nice staff, courteous and friendly at all times. The wings were delightful and surprisngly not as sauced as All-Stars or the other Wild Wings I've been to.

Finished it off with the cinnamon popper thingamagigs, and they were great as well. A fine evening at a fine place.

Had a chance to eat here a few weeks back. The wings were great and the service very pleasant. Solid place to grab a beer and enjoy some wings!
