Review Spizzico Ristorante - Vaughan

Came here for a party and everything was exceptional! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the stone wood oven. The smell of the wood and the pizzas baking welcome you. The servers are very intensive and the food came out very quickly. Everyone got their drinks in less than 10 minutes. The margarita pizzas cooked in that stone wood oven and antipasto we ordered it was phenomenal. The check-in entree was tender and juicy, very hard to find a place that doesn't dry out chicken it was cooked to perfection and while our evening lasted several hours the servers were completely on point kept everyone happy with drinks water and after dinner coffee's. Really all of the ingredients I feel for a high-end restaurant experience. The atmosphere, the food and the service were all incredible!

What an amazing experience. Service was top notch and the food was delicious!! We were there for a baptism and the staff went above and beyond. From the servers to the owner and the kitchen staff. Can't wait to go back!

I had my son’s Communion party here yesterday and I was compelled to write a review about how wonderful my experience was here. Sam and his entire staff were absolutely incredible! From the delicious food that guests raved about to the exceptional service from the wait staff. We all felt comfortable, happy and will definitely return again soon. They made the day wonderful! Honest and down to earth owner!

This was possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had frozen pizza that was way better than this. The margherita - Dough had no taste and was chewy, cheese had no taste, sauce was weak. The perfect combination of subpar ingredients and not knowing how to make good or even decent pizza. Tasted like it was cooked in a regular oven and not in a wood fired one. Horrible experience for pizza at this price point. Save yourself $18 dollars and go to Fortinos!

This is by far the worst pizza I have ever had. I ordered a margerita pizza and some how got this abomination with anchovies and olives. I've frozen Delissio that was better than this. The dough is just a biscuit. There is no Cheese. And I ordered a Margherita and got anchovie pizza.

While this restaurant was a recommendation with high review, I was a little disappointed. The food was good, ordered the the orrecihette with rapini, not a fan of the sausage in large chunks. Ordered the cherry cheesecake with sauce, very little sauce and I did expect cherries which had none. Overall food was good. What I am not happy not is the waiter taking our plate or glass from us without asking if we were finished. They were by the tables constantly, one thing I can't handle when I have to rush my meal. Server was excellent but the constant presence at the table was too much. I am not from the area so I took a chance but after this experience I definitely will be not be going there. This is my opinion.

Excellent place we finally tried out!! The service today was INCREDIBLE. Such a strong team of staff, from our waitress to the bussers and bartender. The way they all helped one another make our stay perfect was really great to see. The pizza was delicious as well as the stuffed gnocchi, calamari and caesar salad. Sorry we broke broke a plate, so embarrassing but the staff was so good about it. Cant wait to come back again because of how impressive this place is! Thanks you, Spizzico!

I ordered $120 worth of pizza and entrees. We ordered from here on the glowing recommendation from a friend who regularly dines there. I live close by, but the food we ordered was still delivered cold. Half of it was delivered in an insulated bag and the other half was not. Ironically, the food that was delivered in an insulated bag was colder than the food that was not. Some of the entree dishes were also filled half way, namely the pasta dishes, which honestly looked and felt like a complete rip off. The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't very good, probably because it was delivered cold and had been sitting around for a while before it was picked up for delivery. The pizza did not taste fresh. I don't like leaving negative reviews. The only reason I am doing this is because my wife emailed the restaurant a few weeks ago about our concerns to see what their response was. This email was completely ignored. I can't speak for the dine-in experience at this restaurant, because I've never dined in there, but I can say I was extremely dissatisfied with my delivery experience. I would strongly discourage anyone from ordering food delivery from here, they clearly don't have any quality control standards for delivery orders and skimp on portion sizes, even for items that don't cost much to make, such as pasta. Stay away.
