Excellent restaurant! My parents recognized the address of the first location where they would go for lobster and they were impressed at this location.
Great selection of dishes. We ordered the lunch specials. It came with excellent portions that two would have been enough for the three of us. Also the quality of the garoupa was unlike I have tasted.
This is the new place my parents and I will go for seafood for sure!
Keep it up Hua Sang!
Delicious food and the prices are very decent. Must try: Lobster in ginger and spring onion, and salted fish and chicken fried rice. Fast service.
Came here for a wedding
I been at the original location in chinatown and always remembered it for their awesome deep fried lobsters/crabs
Of course for a wedding, its a set course meal
Pretty standard chinese banquet affair
Most of the food was decent, nothing mind blowing but do remember what area this restaurant is located, not bad for what's around
Only dish that did disappoint me was the initial roasted piglet as the cuts weren't as crispy and tender as you would expect from that yummy dish
If you are looking for chinese food in north york/vaughan, its something to consider
Our waiter was very professional, friendly and helpful. He was also quick to move when we required his help. He made us feel welcomed and had a big genuine smile on his face. Lobster was delicious and satisfied our craving. I wouldn't recommend the wonton soup though. It tasted a little off.
Food is very tasty, the ginger and onion lobster is coated lightly and fried, which makes it very fragrant and delicious. The salt friend soft shell crab is to die for. Boss man serves the table and is super friendly! Would recommend and return for sure
Had both types of lobster, a rice and a noodle dish . Food was great and anyone who is familiar with Chinese-style lobster will be a fan.
In regards to service I didn't experience any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers- not sure if that's a result of improved service or because I'm more used to Chinese-style serving. Servers were attentive with water, polite, made friendly conversation but weren't too talkative (which I actually prefer.)
Am making plans to go again.
The Yeung Chow Fried rice and oysters were a bit bland, but the double lobster special and other dishes were very good. Service was also excellent and the convenient customer parking makes it more accessible than their downtown location. The complimentary tofu dessert was also a nice touch. Would recommend
