Review Sparks Premium Grill + Bar - Vaughan

I visited sparks on March-17-19 for my daughters birthday dinner, I made reservations for party of 8 approximately 1 month in advance. I followed up with a call to inform that reservations would go from 8 to 15, to which they said great. I have very mixed emotions about this review. When we arrived there was no one else in the restaurant, our waiter was very flighty constantly forgetting orders, mixing up orders or bringing out incorrect orders, as the night progressed more people entered the restaurant maybe about 3-4 couples. We ended up finding out there was only one person working in the kitchen our food took approximately 2hrs for our food to be ready this was just appetizers, 4 hr total wait time! Which is HORRIBLE!! The food did taste amazing I was extremely happy with everything that was brought out but would never wait this long again! Management really needs to look to schedule staff better so people don’t have to experience this. Our total bill as a group came up to over $700, then we had bills divided which took another 15mins. Restaurant has potential but has to do better!!

Ok service Food ok Staff ok. Staff seemed like rushing through my order. It was mother’s day and they had special 3 courses menu. I ordered soup 🍲 , steak 🥩 and dessert 🍮 Initially, I thought the soup will come before the steak. Then the server asked me if I would want them to come at the same time or separately, so I said can you please give them to me separately. After a minute, the server said it’s already too late, it’s going to be served together. Alright then. The soup was hot, but I don’t want to eat my steak before soup. If I finish my soup first then my steak will become cold and vice versa. It was a first world problem, sorry.

Medium sized restaurants with ample parking during the evening. Came here for one of the historical Raptors games and was seated with decent timing for a busy day. Atmosphere was nice and interior was clean. Their booths are spacious and comfy but there weren't too many large TVs to watch the game. Washrooms are well maintained too. The food was only okay though; especially for an expensive menu with limited choices. Overall, wouldn't choose to come here again.

Had 2018 New Year's lunch with my friend Arlene today @ Sparks Premium Bar and Grill, Vaughan location. I had Shanghai Stir Fry with Shrimp and she had Garlic Talipia. We were greeted and seated promptly. Amazing food made even more memorable by the service given by Shauna. We'll be back.

Well I decided to give this place a visit and it didn't go well at all. I made a reservation 10 days ago for Valentine's day, showed up right on time because I knew it would be packed. We wait for like 2 mins then they showed us our table and what a surprise it's in the bar section! We sit down and they bring us a fixed menu? Nothing was mentioned about a fix menu for VD but it's cool. We're sitting there for 20 mins and no one even bothered to pour us water or ask if we were ready to order. I go to the front and talk to a guy I believe he was the manager and I'm like we were sitting for 20 mins and we don't even have water. He apologizes and send someone right away with water and to take our order. He offered us drinks since we were waiting for so long which was nice. I ask the girl if we can order the first two courses since we had plans to meet friends for dessert and she said you can't because it's a fix menu, NO PROBLEM. We ordered Calamari and Caesar salad which they brought about 25 mins later. As you can see in the picture I posted, this is what our table looked like when they brought them. I wait 5 mins then head to the front again, call the " manager " and ask him what's wrong with what he see? He apologize again and send someone to bring us forks so we can eat. Then he came with a gift card and apologized again for what happened. We ordered Calamari, Caesar salad, stuffed chicken and oven roasted beef but the girl " bartender " didn't ask how I wanted my beef? Salad was okay but calamari was dead cold, like it was sitting there for 30 mins before they brought it to us, again NO PROBLEM. About an hour the bartender comes and ask me how I like my beef " WOW " and 15 mins later we get the main course, Stuffed chicken was really good and beef was cooked on point. At this point my night is ruined and I decided not leave tip so we call the bartender and we ask for the bill, she said you can have dessert to go and we said okay. She hands me the machine and I put 0 tip and hand it back to her. She looks at the receipt and said " You know gratuity is not included in this price right? " I kept my mouth shut and we walked out. Would I recommend this place to anyone? I DON"T THINK SO TLDR: went there for Valentine's day and it was a complete disaster.

Excellent. Food was amazing. we tried the miami paella and the burgers. I was told the burgers were freshly handcrafted in house so I had to try them. The meat was better than expected. Service was better than average. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Service was good. Food was good and fresh. And prices are very affordable!! All in all a great experience for a light dinner or lunch...

Was very surprised to find amazing breakfast food at a bar! Fairly new establishment in the Vaughan area. Definitely recommend for good bite and drinks!

Appetizers were good but very skimpy to portion for what you pay for the $30 platter. Hamburgers were good with very few fries...and the wine list on the Pino Grigio was at a halt. And their wine per glass was outrageously priced as well as the bottles. Service was good. I liked the spacious booths for a change. Bathrooms were very bad condition thou..Don’t think I’ll be going back. *Rose

First visit and we were very happy. Service and food was great, nice ambiance. Had the spinach dip, good portion and tasty. Fish and chips for $10 was a deal and wife had the burger/beer combo. Will definitely be back, thanks.

Amazing place foods on point, Lobster Nan, Lamburger was amazing!!!! Hats off to the staff and owners.

Very fresh environment. great design and decor. I have tried 4 appetizers fairly large portions and yummy the butter chicken was amazing . Service we have received was amazing. Very polite and energetic. Left the restaurant full happy and definitely will be back. My only wish to the owner is best of luck and success for many years to come. Do not let your foot of the the gas pedal. Keep the same level of energy ,food and service and you will be very successful in the restaurant industry. Best of luck. Max

Excellent breakfast and great service. Do yourself a favor and skip Denny's and go straight there. Service at Denny's is horrendous.

This place not only outshines for design, but for food as well. The food was great and not like most sports bars... amazing selection! The bar area is open and spacious and it serves for a great place to watch any sporting event or hang out with friends. Will definitely be back!

Excellent staff, food, and atmosphere!!! Excellent group dinner experience. Brought the entire hockey team and their family's there after our tournament and they served all 60+ of us without a hitch. Definitely recommend!

Burgers were good; didn't like that the waitress asked my kids if they wanted cheese on their burgers since I was paying the bill. Aside from that, the experience was decent.

My go to spot to unwind and have a few drinks. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. One of the best spots in Vaughan.

I love Sparks, food is amazing especially Veggie burger. Hospitality and staff are incredible!! And love Maria and Kumar who are dedicated to to their clients!

Beautiful place! Large portions. Tasty food. We were suprized by Sunday's special - free kids menu. New York Strip Loin was fantastic!

We were the only customers there for breakfast. The service was fast and very professional (the waitress checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was good, had enough coffee, etc.). The potatoes tasted amazing!!! We’ll definitely go back next time we are in the area.

My kids and I loved the food! I had awesome wings and the kids loved it all! Our waitress was so attentive to the kids and made it such a pleasant experience! The service is amazing and the food and drinks were too! Would definitely go again!

I was here last week meeting a friend and had impeccable service. The same young lady who met me at the door was also very gracious and thoughtful when we were at our table. She even remembers customers' preferred wine when they come in again! If all of your staff is like her, then your establishment is fantastic!

Excellent fresh food. Great staff who are always very Friendly. We have been regulars going often since opening. Keep up the great work.
