Review Evviva Restaurant - Vaughan

Cozy place for brunch. Definitely make a reservation or expect long wait times after around 10:30. Pretty good selection of vegan options. If you're getting an omelette, recommend getting feta cheese. Bacon is also top-notch quality, and arugula side salad adds a nice touch to the overall dishes. Potatoes are also seasoned nicely.

Overall great experience! Our server was so kind, and recommended the french toast which did not disappoint. The Atlantic smoked salmon eggs Benedict was definitely the best I’ve had. Egg poached to perfection, creamy hollandaise sauce and home fries that were perfectly crisp. We will definitely be returning!

we had a lunch with my husband on Monday, fast and nice service, clean shadowed patio. We paid about $60 before tips for two salads and one main dish from grill menu. Nice place to visit with kids, I found they kids menu interesting, definitely I will return here with my kids.

Came here with my boyfriend yesterday for brunch and it was wonderful! We did not make reservations. Instead, we walked in. It was so busy so I left my contact information with the hostess at the front. She told me that there was an expected wait time of an hour and that I will receive a text message once our table is ready. We didn’t mind the wait as we both are patient people so we just went to Vaughan Mills to walk around. About an hour, I get a phone call from them and the hostess was apologizing for the long wait time and that our table will be ready in 5 minutes. We went back within 5 minutes and once again, the hostess was apologizing and she brought us to our seat. We got a seat at the booth. Our server, Demetria was great and efficient! The food was really good and I’m so amazed at how they have vegan options as there’s not a lot of places that offer vegan breakfast/brunch options. The vegan sunnyside egg was spot on! I got the vegan Benedict and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the salmon Benedict and he said it was really good. I also got an iced vegan latte and he got a hot chocolate. The service was super fast, food was great, ambiance was good (super busy), and everyone there was super friendly. We will definitely come back to try other dishes! 10/10

My wife & I arrived at 8:30am on Sunday morning. The restaurant was not that busy and we chose to sit at a nice spot. Ordered cafe mocha, Spainish omelette, pancakes and fresh orange juice. Enjoyed the fresh and hot breakfast. Everything was superb! All in all 5 stars to everything we ordered.

The place is really nice and has a great vibe. The service is good too. However the food was disappointing. The portions were small and it tasted below average. Overall, would not come here again.

Not impressed with most of the food and the size of the meals (very small plates for high price). Fresh Orange juice was great. Home fries are nice. Pancakes were ok but way over-priced for what you get ($19, plus an extra $3 for chocolate chips). There are other places that are cheaper and have fluffier pancakes. Salmon Benedict was good. Vegan Omelets (added soy bacon, vegan sausage, peppers, tomato, mushroom at $2 per item) ended up being $24. That's the cost of a steak in many places, especially since all of these 'extras' barely had a trace in the omelet (and yes, I do know vegan omelet is pricey, but this one was just a bit much). Side of regular eggs were fine. Burgers were burnt and we sent them back. The patio is really nice though and the service is good.

Terrible food! Looks great on the menu but when received looks like it was tossed onto the plate. No care or passion put into it. With the prices this place charges you would expect a gourmet breakfast not a mediocre typical greasy spoon breakfast which actually is way better! .... Will never set foot in this place again..... Over priced, no care, miserable staff .... Can't see them lasting very long down here on lower simcoe.... Can't see how some people here find the pricing reasonable. Almost $20 for a simple bacon egg cheese sandwich with home fries which are your basic Sysco supplied cubed home fries... I guess they justify the price cause they throw a couple of brown pcs of avacado... Here's a tip Evviva chefs, try storing your avacado slices dressed with lemon juice, stops them from becoming a disgusting brown mush!! Place is a rip off.... I admit the decore is nice but that's about the only thing this place has going for it... The people rating this 5* must not eat out much *sigh*

Very disappointed with our experience at Evviva Vaughan Mills. We went for the first time yesterday with a friend and our 15month son. The service was poor to fair, the food was mediocre at best and the prices are high for the quality, in my opinion (shared by the others in my party). My son was whining before we ordered so I asked if we could get a piece of toast right away for him to munch on and then when I ordered asked if we could make the toast that comes with my food the order they brought him. I ordered him rye and they brought white. Then when the bill came they had charged me $3.95 for a couple pieces of toast even though we had had the discussion about substituting... When ordering our friend wanted a particular omelette but wanted to add bacon. The server had to ask the manager permission which he denied and claimed he had to 'make your own' which ends up being more money once you add each individual ingredient. He ordered something else purely on principal. The manager never came over to check how our meal or service was and we decided to ask to speak with him at the end of our meal to provide feedback. He was mildly apologetic but didn't offer a voucher or coupon or any incentive for us to return. We live about 2mins away and will choose Boom Breakfast Co. over Evviva every single time in the future. I wouldn't bother spending a dime on the beautiful decor at Evviva if their service, quality, and customer service doesn't drastically improve. Disappointed in every aspect of our experience. 😔

This was the second time coming to this place for me. Was impressed with the food the first time and decided to let my kids try it out. Waiting for a table took us almost 45 mins ( considering we were a table of 6 I was ok with the wait). Food was good however during the course of our meal the waitress was serving us water when she dropped the water glasses all over our table and my sons meal was drenched in orange juice as was his clothes ( my sister in law and niece also got wet but with water). Waitress was apologetic and apolgized several times. I had to ask her to replace my sons meal, which she did... I had forgotten that my nieces orange juice also spilt and forgot to ask for a replacement, she didn't offer to replace it. The place was so crammed that there was little room for the waitresses to Move and hence why I wasn't surprised that this accident occurred. I didn't expect a free meal but I did expect more than just an apology. I had expected a percentage discount or even my sons meal for free.... When the bill came they changed me full price for everyhing! Rather than make a big fuss I paid the bill and left. My son only ate half his meal ( because he was embarrassed by the people looking) and I had to pay for a juice that the waitress spilt. Not very impressed with the customer service At all. Suffice to say it will be the last time we go there!

Searching for a nice place for good breakfast during your visit to Toronto? Go to Evviva. It was right next door to us (Lower Simcoe St.). The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. Service is rapid, courteous and very professional. We have eaten there twice and we would like to be become regulars when we would live there. But to far from Germany. Tasty food, large portions and an excellent setting. We will come back when we're in Toronto again.

Just ate here and ended up being served regular bread when I am a Celiac and cannot consume gluten at all. I even double checked with my server and she assured me it was gluten free. Sure enough it wasn't. The servers are not informed, I don't even think they can read English as it said right in the ingredients 'wheat gluten, wheat, barley, etc'. And apparently the cook didn't even know either. Not going back here again

Since the opened a years ago, I’m a regular costumer with my family, and I recommended to every people I know. Very fast service, excellent food. Just only one time the eggs wasn’t cooked well.

Good food for good price, nothing more to say. Service good, maybe the chairs were a bit soft in the beginnning (but got used to it) for me but anyway all was good. Next time i'm in Toronto will get another breakfast there, nah lunch to try the burgers or both

I was so dissapointed by the management. The staff and waiters were great but the manager made our breakfast experience very difficult. She was unwilling to be accommodating of the customers wishes and put but the waiters and customers in difficult position. If your hoping to a welcoming and fun breakfast, this Evviva location is one to stay away from

Most Unporffesional Restaurant!!. I came all the way from Barrie because I have a night shift and wanted to get breakfast beforehand. All over their website it says they are open until 10.. I drove all the way here to be dissapointed that they're closed, most unreliable restaurant in the GTA!!!

Food should be hot. Usually I really enjoy the food here but yesterday we both received a cold breakfast. They have the best homefries but they were also cold 24.00 for a clod breakfast is not my idea of a good start.

The breakfast was nothing special had a omelette and it tasted bland.... I also ordered a side of fruits and the fruits weren't not fresh at all. The Service was absolutely terrible and the waitress was rude. I wouldn't recommend it.

We're always on the hunt for new breakfast/brunch spots in the GTA. Evviva is our new Fav! The service has been great, the food has been great quality for the price, the owner has always made himself visible/presence known, and the atmosphere enjoyable. We haven't had any complaints since we started coming to this gem in Vaughan. <br/>P.S. The eggs with avocado and tomato for $5! Side of bacon +$2.50! Can't go wrong.

Friendly service, VERY QUICK meal, fresh ingredients, unique menu options and the best French toast I've ever had. Great price as well.

One of the best breakfast places I've been to. Head and shoulders above daybreak and sunset grill. Our server was Umran, the service was fast and efficient. One of the only servers to get my eggs right on first try. The devour is very well done. Even more surprising was how small our bill was compared to Cora's. First choice breakfast place.

Delicious food. Best coffee I've had at a breakfast place!

So not impressed! Undercooked omelets, horrible service..I drank from the water bottle I brought with me, because no one refilled my water..ridiculous!

Great Place!. We decided to come here on Family Day for brunch. As you could imagine, it was packed with families. When we first walked in, the entrance was crowded with people waiting to get a table. I walked over to the front desk near the back of the restaurant where a server was situated. I told her how many people we were and I asked how long the wait would be; she said about 20 minutes. She didn't take our name or anything of that sort. We waited about 10 minutes, then I asked her again if there were any tables available as I was afraid she was going to forget about us. She was able to find us a table in about 5 minutes. We sat down and we were given menus. The menu was large and there was a lot to choose from. We chose our drinks first. The drinks came out after about 5 minutes. We then chose our meals. The meals came out about 12 minutes after we ordered them. The cheese omelette had 2 slices of bread cut in halves, a small order of home fries, and a large omelette. Everything tasted good, and there was a large assortment of jam for the bread. The service was pretty good, especially considering how busy it was. For 3 of us, the bill came out to about $30, not too bad considering the amount of food that we received. Would definitely return to this place!

It was ok. I payed 10.00 for a good big meal. Which i disnt even finish. But it was delicious:) i also purchased a cappucino but seems the cup was small and a little too strong. No complains to be honest.

Beautiful decor, outside patio for those nice days, wonderful staff, food portions are big & very filling. Prices are basically a steal. Not only the breakfast foods but the lunch foods are excellent as well. I highly recommend this place!

I came on a busy weekend with my family, the place looked very nice. It wasn't your typical diner/breakfast joint. The decor was fresh and modern. The service was fast, friendly and clean. My whole family enjoyed the wide range menu. We left very happy and will be back every weekend. I highly reccomend Evviva for Breakfast.
