Great food, fun drinks and awesome service! I recommend the Picasso roll and fish tacos & for drinks the sake sangria, summer in the city & the Kentucky mule. Side note, the portions for the deserts are huge, my best pick would be the carrot cake ;)

Very well designed and very spacious. Food was really good. Cocktails were good. Service was great. Price point is a little on the high side but overall great experience will definitely be visiting again.

Had a really good meal here with my family. The place is fairly new, and is thexfirst location in Canada. We had some sushi rolls, which were very well prepared. The pad thai and the tuna sliders were great and the portions are pretty big. The dessert is very big. Two or three people can eat one order of carrot cake or the fudge brownie, i'm not kidding. The service is very good as well. Some of the things she recommended (like the carrot cake) were right. Q little on the pricey side, but the portions are pretty large. Have been here a second time now.

This is an American chain inspired by Hawaiian food (think Asian fusion) that does great sushi, poke, and chicken, meat and fish dishes.
First Canadian location, not likely to be their last. Great drinks or date spot.

Hit or miss. First time was fine. Second time not so much. Ordered fondue appetizer and cheese was curdled. Sent it back and next attempt ws no better. Sushi was okay. Best was the avocado roll-perfect! Drinks refreshing.

Found this restaurant to be really great! Our sever was awesome and although the restaurant wasn't especially on the night Raptors game is quite surprising! The food was very good we enjoyed everything!! Will definitely make a comeback in the future.

Heard lots of great comments about their food so when I was in the area for the next RE/MAX event, I went to dinner with a friend. The decor and atmosphere wahes you with calmness & refreshment.
We ordered delicious food, chatted and enjoyed the little touches Krona offers.. like their flatware. I'll be back.. as often as possible!

Well! We had tons of reasons to justify this rating. Never ever did we ever hear staff coming to us to say "I don't know what happened". The waiter said it and the kitchen leader said it to us. The GM wants to make it right.....but doesn't say how.
On top of waiting 75 min for our food, the fish was burnt and they gave me rice instead of fries like I asked. That salmon looked nice but it was overcooked. Those grill marks were very dark. We gave up and we left with a sour taste....and yeah...Happy Valentine's day to us!

Went to Kona Grill the other night because my friend and I wanted to try somewhere new. The service was exceptional and the food was soooo good! We ordered some sushi and the Thai noodles and it was so flavourful! Not to mention the brownie for dessert was amazing, as it was served warm with ice cream and a caramel drizzle! I wish I got the name of our server because he made our experience amazing! He was polite, so educated on the menu, made recommendations, refilled our water on time and was such a charm! I wasn’t expecting my experience to be as good was it was. Will definitely return! Thanks

This place was a disaster. It was empty on a Saturday. Took the waitress 20 min plus to ask us just for a drink. Then to top it off you get the bill. 4$ a person for water. But the waitress made sure to tell us it’s unlimited. Lol. Poor service. Average to poor food. 4$ a person for tap water. Not going back.

Nice looking place, very funky. Had a great hostess who explained the menu well. 10 mins after being seated still had no one ask for our drink order or even acknowledge we were there. So we left and went next door to Fionn MacCool’s. Don’t think we’ll try Kona again.

This place uses MSG! All of us felt it right after our meal. When are these chefs going to stop using poison in our foods. Would not go back do that reason!

Interior was nice ,Our server was great but that's where it stops . Sushi rolls were not good at all ,very amateurish . Avacado egg rolls were quite good . Surprised to see on the bill that a coffee and a soft drink was 4.60 .each That is ridiculous ! Honestly would not go back

I wanted to try somewhere new. I was not impressed with the food and service. Our waitress was to busy with a larger party, didn’t even check on us, food took long to come out, bread was hard, their cappuccinos were watered down, no foam. This place is to expensive. Atmosphere was alright. Still new but expected it to be better.

Greeted as soon as we walked in. Service was great. Our server gave us good recommendations. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was so nice and open. Not crowded with tables right next to you. Only reason I didnt give it a 5 was it was a tad pricey. Will go back for sure.

We happen to be in the Vaughan area, and wanted sushi. We are from out of town and we’re south for the weekend.
We came upon this gem of a restaurant and we are beyond words. We are foodies and we love our sushi, and let us say, BEST sushi we’ve ever ever had!
The different variety of rolls, the flavours, the added touches, the service and the beauty of the restaurant and decor... 5+++++
